Horrible app
100% negative

Vorteile
There are no pros to this app. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Nachteile
This app continuously connects to the beacons when you are near by one and had blocked my phone while I am sitting still in an office. Someone doesn't even have to be driving near by. It also blocks all notifications and clears them so you have no knowledge when you stop. I once had a fraudulent charge on a credit card that I learned of due to a notification on my phone. If I had truce on my phone at the time I wouldn't have learned about it in time and been out thousands of dollars. This app is for people who think they live in a perfect world. Fine block people from making calls while driving, nothing wrong with that. But that's where it should end. If it connects while stationary and locks the phone even once, it should be considered a failure.

Needs a lot of work
Not good due to the above mentioned comments

Simplicity but nothing else really - needs much improvement
Nachteile
It's not accurate, does not have good tracking capabilities, history is not accurate, speed limits are wrong most of the time. This device has a box inside the vehicle which connects to the phone but is still not accurate nor reliable - how does uber and lyft do such a good job at tracking real time movements without such mentioned box inside the vehicle.

Hard to manage
In a perfect world or for teenagers this would be amazing. For managing a fleet, i do not think it is a great concept.
Vorteile
I like the concept, but unless you have a company phone with no other MDM software it is very hard to manage. Several steps also.
Nachteile
The steps to maintain, site usage etc. Assigning a trigger, then a user and then pushing the SMS and hoping they accept. It is too much.

Cell control works amazing!
We drove over 2.5 million miles last year with 220 trucks. This app ensures that our drivers stay alert and focus on driving. The added benefit is the decreased accidents due to distracted driving and the increased safety of our drivers on the road!
Vorteile
The software does exactly what it is supposed to do! It blocks use of the phone while driving. Our business opted for the hardware trigger in addition to the application because of the increased accuracy and other reporting functions. It almost works too well. I say this because I was shocked at how often I reached for my phone instinctively while driving, only to be reminded by Cell Control that it is not safe. This application is changing our work culture for the better! I would highly recommend this.
Nachteile
It's hard for me to come up with Cons for this software. If I had to find one though, it would be the manual steps a user has to take to enable access to the phone for the application to work properly. There are sometimes 7-8 steps that has to happen for it to function. We had to write up detailed instructions for our employees in order to ensure that most could install the app properly.

Like what it does but
I works and keeps my people safe that’s the bottom line.
Vorteile
I love that this keeps me from looking at my phone every two minutes. I really like that it makes me call people which is a more personal way of communicating.
Nachteile
I get messages that I am in violation when I am two miles from my car and it’s off. Also the phone screen flashes who your getting a text from so it still distracts you.

It's okay
Overall, we have had a positive experience. Hopefully in the future these devices improve and we continue to use the software.

I like that it keeps our drivers safe but not allowing texts, calls etc except hands free.
Nachteile
The reliability of the software. There are so many bugs and issues with it that sometimes it feels like a waste of money.

CellControl
Staff was very helpful and communication was great. They were able to get us up and running in a short time frame and the device had every benefit we were looking for.
Vorteile
The ease of installation. Once I had the link all I had to do was push it out to our drivers phones and have them open it up. From there it was a two step process before it was ready to go!
Nachteile
Dealing with Apple. For iphone users, the process with getting app approval took a lot longer than expected.

Working with cell control
Positive.
Vorteile
The app works great for what it is designed for . It operates correctly and does as promised.
Nachteile
It some times takes too long to unlock once I am stopped.
While using the GPS apps in my phone (more so when in landscape mode) the cell control will block the gps because it keeps refreshing the screen in landscape mode and prevents me from seeing my directions.

Great compmay
I consider Cellcontrol a top vendor. We continue to ask them to bring value to our operation in non-traditional areas for them and they continue to meet or attempt to meet at every request. NO or NOT POSSIBLE is not in their vocabulary.

Where to start.
1. It crashes my ui every day.
2. It doesn't turn on always.
3. It has permissions to record your audio

We have taken great steps forward to eliminate distracted driving. That is a great feeling with our fleet driving so many miles on the road.

Needless
I have tried to cancel my contract several times but to no avail.

Not much, it is very difficult to use and thus not very effective

inability to switch from it being on to not being on, as well as it locking my phone after I have already shut down the operation.

Cellcontrol, not the best
Cellcontrol customer service has been good.
Vorteile
The only good thing about the software is the fact that IF you want to control cell phone use of your employees and act as big brother, this software provides absolute control.
Nachteile
This software is 100% about control of the employees, NOT education. Also, this software requires both a trigger unit and App. It is not an easy roll out. Education is necessary. I'd rather have people opt in to this program and WANT to eliminate cell phone use temptation than require this program.
