All this from a respected company and at a great price when compared with alternatives. If you what a fully featured suite then Desptop central is the one

You need to spend a sensible amount of time reading the literature and watching videos but the great thing is that the help material is vast and comprehensive. Not always intuitive

Pretty good Endpoint management suite with all the right features
Once you get a hang of this, I don't think anything else compares to Desktop central, feature wise and Easy Usability wise.

Great Product For Managing Endpoints
Overall great experience. Still in the trial phase but fully plan on making a purchase once fully vetted.

Extremely easy to use. The setup and deployment of the agent is very straightforward. The patch management is easy to use and provides great insight into the health of your environment.

I think it would be useful to have more filtering options for the custom groups and the ability to use the custom groups for more things.

Simple Yet Effective
The product works great. I had many tickets open with MEEC in the beginning for patches but once they were sorted out, we starting having much success in patching our servers and workstations.
Vorteile
Easy to deploy, status manager is easy to read and understand.

at first, we had issues where patches failed but support was able to walk us through the fixes fairly quickly.

Desktop Central was a breeze to install and get deployed. It easily installed on all the clients in my environment.
Vorteile
Th ease of use and installation really make Desktop Central stand out from other competitors. It's also very easy to deploy software and track assets.
Nachteile
The different editions can be confusing. I suppose it lets you pay for only the features you need, but having to choose between "professional", "enterprise", or "uem" is confusing.

One Stop
Overall I would recommend it for someone looking for a cloud based way to manage Windows and Mac environment all in one.
Vorteile
It is nice to have one place to go for technicians to help with remote employees. Cloud based version is a plus as the team I am part of is small and managing servers is tiresome. All the links for help and explain the different ways things work are helpful. Clean interface compared to other products that I have used.
Nachteile
It is a little hard to understand at first. Deployment of agents was not as straightforward but starting to get it.

I use DC to not only manage my laptop and mobile device inventory, but also to support and troubleshoot remote users.

I love the integrated remote access tools and the wide variety of tools that are provided.
Nachteile
The installation and distribution is confusing and learning to use Manage Engine is quite the learning curve. UI is also a little behind competitors but it makes that up in the amount of features available.

The cloud version can be used from the moment you make the decision, the installation of the agents is very easy, the support and documentation to solve doubts is very helpful when customizing the tool for your deal.

Nachteile
Some of the features don´t work with not very well known linux distro, the geolocation supported with windows 10 is not very exact and with the cloud version some tools are lost that can be used in on- premisse version

Good tool for patch management
Pros:
Nice dashboard, automated update works good, simple and easy to analyze what is going on..
Cons:
I wish they can automatically prevent unnecessary updates being pushed to prevent failed updates just to find out the update is not necessary or an earlier version patch need to be installed first. When choosing only critical updates to be installed it still try to install unrated updates and have to manually decline it. Remote control won't connect automatically after reboot and need to keep reconnecting.

Overall it is very useful. As our company manages city fortification sites and organizes events like concerts, shows, workshops, etc. there is a constant need to check PC is it up to date, free of viruses, taking care of hardware malfunction... so I do not need to drive or walk from one place to another and physically check every device on our sites.

Little to none over previous solutions due to constant bugs. MDM is easier to use than Airwatch. Lots of potential.

Highly integrated, many solutions in one application. MDM is much easier to use than Airwatch. Good feature set.

Bugs and poor customer server. Email support only. Follow up response, please email logs for review. Days later you might get a response back. Issues not always fixed with initial support call. Sadly this impacts my customers and confidence in the IT organization. When we reach out to customer support via telephone calls are directed to voice mail.

Frontrunner in evaluation.
Vorteile
The most bang for the buck. I am evaluating many products and this one has most of the features that I would want without the expensive price tag.
Nachteile
Software license tracking is a little time-consuming and difficult to set up. However, It's better than the spreadsheet method I was using. I also wish it had a built-in asset lifecycle tracking, i.e. place to track the purchase and retirement of computers.
