Vorteile

It has a very easy to use API which provides a lot of valuable information about every email we check. Out of all the services we trialled, this was the most accurate with all our test cases and reliably failed invalid addresses and returned as valid the ones that were. Impressed.

Nachteile

Not much. It would be useful if the credits could be automatically re-purchased when they ran out to avoid having to manually buy more, as we use their API in an automated server process but otherwise nothing bad.

Validation rules are good.
Speed with which the validation is completed is also very fast.
Pricing is awesome. Compared it with lot of competitor and this was miles cost effective to use

Even after doing all sorts of validation, I still get 1%-2% bounce rates. Ideally it should be less than 0.5%. But for the cost this results are good.

This software is easy to use and highly affordable if you are a company that needs multiple emails verified. Uploading your bulk list is easy and hassle-free. If there are only one or two emails you need to be verified, DeBounce has the option to allow you to verify one at a time. I am still a new user but I do log in weekly to validate some extra emails that I have found.

Nachteile

There are a few things I do not like about the software. When I upload my bulk list and export after verification, my other segments, such as name, phone number, address, etc. do not export along with the email verifications. It is not the end of the world, but there is more work on my end to go into my original customer list and have to de-dupe my spreadsheets. Another issue and I understand this is not DeBounce's fault, is that my customer list contains a large amount of yahoo and aol emails that were not cleaned. I understand this is an issue that all of the email scrubbing industry has with yahoo and aol emails so I was not as upset. Hopefully, there will be a solution to this issue.

DeBounce has a great accuracy rate when it comes to filtering emails whether it's connected via API to a website form or used to clean bulk emails manually. in addition to that it's very affordable when compared with the other email validation platforms.

I have been using DeBounce since March 2019 and I didn't notice any critical issue that need to be fixed so far.

I was having someone constantly come to my membership site and sign up with fake email addresses to test what must have been stolen credit cards to see if they would go through. That meant I had to go into my merchant account and cancel them so that the credit card would not get charged as well as cancel them from my membership. It was happening several times a day every day. Such a pain in the neck and time waster for me. My developer recommended DeBounce and set it up on my site and I've not had any trouble since. It worked from day one.

I've had no negative issues since this has been installed on my site.

it is efficient and cheap. No bugs or false results (i think), works fast, easy to implement. It does what it should. And it doesn't charge for unknows - that's fair approach.

I don't know, maybe api statistics could be separated by monthly usage. So I could see how many calls were this month and how many of them were invalid disposable etc.

I like the affordable pricing options. It is not only affordable but also accurate. After the verification, it refunds credit for unknown emails. That is awesome!

There are no cons. But for bulk email verification, it only verifies one email list at a time.

DeBounce took all the risk out of processing my client's email list and signups on his website. We've used the API and the batch processing. It's fast, inexpensive, and works. There's not really any way to build this yourself. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This review relates to the API validator function only. Seamless back-end operation with almost NO configuration needed. Has the best cost-value ratio of all contact form protections I had evaluated.

Best feature? Debounce charge a very low rate for spam processing when compared with alternative vendors. Unlike others (who charge a monthly fee) DeBounce credits do NOT expire and are available for as long as is needed.

it is easy to use, all api are GET with url params (shorter in code), and it is cheep.

The api functions are very - very - limited! There are most important actions that you can not perform via api (not like sendinblue, the almost every action is available via api), you can not stop validation in the middle (mailGun has it) and you can not request for anti gerylisting (so that will take must short time, just a minute before you lunch your campaign). the support is via email, even for payed customers, even if a phone number is presented in the emails they send.

Debounce will remove all of the bad emails, and bounced emails will not harm your sending reputation.
It includes a disposable email checker, syntax elimator, and catch-all domain checker to help you keep your email list clean.
The tool also assists in locating free and role emails in the list. In addition, the tool can be integrated with a variety of apps to make work easier.

Nachteile

In the emails, the MX Record and SMTP Provider Information are not detected.
It guarantees at least 97.5% deliverability, which is significantly lower than that of other e-mail validation tools.
We will only be given 100 free credits to test the tool, which is less than the tools Emailable and Mailrefine provide.

We use Mailgun to send our mails. As a free user there, you’re not allowed to use their email validation. So we looked for an alternative.
When we found Debounce, we found the price is also a lot cheaper.
Also we were surprised by how thorough the validation works.

Nachteile

The time we had to wait and it took almost a day to validate around 2000 emails.

It takes too much time for the software to load up and actually deliver the results. Time=Money especially as a sales rep.

The service strips out any other columns you may have that you uploaded with your list, such as First Name. The good thing is, the full report returns all of the emails you uploaded in the same order you uploaded them, so you can copy and paste the results next to your source list.

It was a very quick upload and return of data which I thought was good.

Nachteile

I felt that removing all of the fields and having to go in and then match up fields was a little time consuming. I would like to see the fields that are uploaded on the list basically be returned to me as well.

Integration with Lemlist is simple and easy to use.

Nachteile

Validating bulk lists is incredibly time consuming. The other lists in the queue don't automatically start the verification process so you do have to babysit the tool if validating several bulk lists.

Once you upload the CSV file, it will test your emails and give you back the results with the following:
- It will give only the "email" column without all the other columns you have in your Excel file (for ex, if you "First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, etc.. It will give you back "Email" column without the rest)
That outcome will make you do extra efforts to organize your data again.
On the other hand, I have used another product in the market which keeps your CSV file intact and as it is but with the additional validation/results columns on the right hand side

Advice software for everyone that works with B2B sales and marketing. Easy in use, possible to verify a lot of e-mails per one request. The program provides an opportunity to get a deliverable e-mail database with a high open-rate.

Nachteile

There are no specific things that can be considered as a disadvantage. Some people might get confused about the CSV format instead of the usual Excel sheet.

Nothing really, Its easy to use and again, it shows exact status for each email in a good report. Only thing is that tha report gets created on its own as it 3 more columns in the middle of the excel gets created instead of at the end so it dont mess up the structure that it was uploaded in.

I may not have figured this out yet since I’m a newer user, but the CSV file I upload has multiple data points that get stripped away (e.g. FNAME, LNAME, IP Address). It would be convenient to download the report with those good emails and other data points intact.

After having my list of 60k email addresses reduced down to 25k safe to send, i'm still getting about 5 bounces, redirects or no longer in use replies per 100 sent. also got about 10k unknown that i have no idea if safe or not.

The list I uploaded included other information than just an email list. The results needed to be processed / correlated to the original list so that the result was a clean list with the additional information. Not a big deal for me but it could be a leaning curve for someone not skilled at Excel.

I run an email marketing agency, due to the nature of what I do I've been looking for an email verification tool that can do the work.
I've tried other tools, Debounce won my heart. The UX is neat, and it's super affordable!

Have used the software to clean up emails lists for my email campaigns. Have sent 6,000 emails so far from a few of the lists I cleaned and have a 0% error and just above a 1% bounce rate which is spectacular. Wish it was a little more affordable in mass amounts but overall happy with the service.
