CrashPlan ProE: Great Product

I have been using CrashPlan for the past 18 months and it has been nothing short of great. It has helped out users both in catastrophic events as well as scheduled PC upgrades. It was fairly straight forward to set up, spend about an hour with an Code42 engineer getting it set up and haven't had to make a change besides regular software upgrades.

Crashplan is the best backup I've ever used

it just works. Solid support when you need it, and no issues with getting the files when you need them. I've used crashplan for over two years and noce once has it failed me.

A great tool for endpoint backup and recovery

CrashPlan form Code42 is a great tool for endpoint backups and recovery. we are a manufacturing company operating 12 locations world wide. We have this software in place on over 100 computers. We have it deployed in 4 countries, primarily to mobile users. Previously we had issued external hard drives to users to complete backups either in office or at home. We found most of the users were carrying the drives with them and if the laptop was stolen so was the drive.

Best in Class

CrashPlan was brought into our company to backup our VIP users with extremely confidential and critical data. It was a replacement for SOS backup which was simply terrible, so it would be easy to replace and be happy with any product. However CrashPlan blew us away with their Admin console , ease of use and not to mention their leader in class customer service. Would recommend to everyone. Home all the way up to enterprise

I love the ability to integrate it into LDAP. The ease of use for deployment of the application to a laptop and or desktop is seamless. The dashboard is very easy to use and has useful information right on the main page.

CrashPlan in enterprise orginization

We have not had any complaints about CrashPlan over all as a backup solution. It is versatile, easy to use and their support staff is great. We have been pleased with the changes they have made as well. Each new version brings new features that really enhance the software .

CrashPlan Rocks

CrashPlan is a great backup solution for any company. They provide extremely reliable backups and have a very easy interface. This product has saved us many times from potential disasters when entire folders have been deleted. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a backup solution for their company.

Code42's CrashPlan is great for use in Educational environments. We back up our file servers and critical image files. Yes, some people actually still use file servers!

The customer service is great with Crash Plan and the ease of use is simple. There is no learning curve and I feel that I can trust the software to help me manage all of my back up needs.

Set It and Forget It

I have a desktop and a laptop backing up to CrashPlan Central.

The configuration was not particularly difficult. I am backing up all user data: i.e. pictures, music, documents, etc. (I was tempted to ignore Code42's advice and back up my applications and system, as well as my user data. But this slows down the backup process and CrashPlan is not designed to restore your system, but rather your files and data.)

CrashPlan works in the background, so once it is configured, you pretty much don't need to think about it again.

Unless disaster strikes. Which it did for me when my iMac died and the restore I did from my Apple TimeMachine backup was incomplete. I had lost a bunch of files. I restored from CrashPlan easily and my life was again complete. Worth every penny I'd spent on CrashPlan over several years.

This is a great cross-platform backup solution. We use it to backup Windows servers, Linux Servers, and Mac desktops. With unlimited storage and the ability to store backup data in multiple locations. On top of that it takes care of all the encryption for you.

We love CrashPlan!

We have been using CrashPlan for several years and it is a great piece of software. Emergency restoration of lost data is fast and simple. We love it. I really don't have any complaints about CrashPlan to date. Everything has been smooth and restorations are fast and easy. I'd recommend it to anyone with important data that you can't afford to lose (everyone!).

Does its job efficiently and quietly

Been a personal customer for years and at work, this product has saved me many times from customer's mistakes and malware infections. I really like how it stays in the background so that my customers don't get excited about annoying popups, etc that other products use for marketing, etc.

For the time I had an account I never used it because it was frustrating and difficult to figure out HOW to... after I quit, the customer support was good at reaching out to me to ask why.

CrashPlan has helped D+H provide a great solution for backing up their executive systems. If a system is ever lost or infected with malware I always know their data is safe. I can restore data at any time and I have no worries for the executives that their files are safe!

CrashPlan, the leave it and forget it backup solution.

My company has been a user of CrashPlan Pro for 8+ years. In those years, I can only recall a handful of times that I've had to touch the admin or user side of Crashplan. Once the server was running and the policies were defined, clients were able to backup to the server right away. The admin and client UIs are really intuitive. I've had such a good experience with the product that I've recommended it to friends\family and local businesses.

CrashPlan is a great product and is so easy to use. I haven't been using it long but it already has saved me several times when backups of data are needed to be restored. Highly recommend.

Great back up plan

We have used CrashPlan for several years. So far we have been fortunate not have needed to use it to reinstall, but it's good to know it's there if we do. I don't even have to think about it. It runs in the background. I get an email report every so often telling me the status of each computer and if it has been successfully backed up or if it needs to be. I haven't had to deal with Customer Support, at least not in years, so I supposed that earns a 5-star rating!

This is great software

I have had the Pleasure of getting to use this software over the past few month and I really like it. It has helped me out on tons of projects and task in my line of work. It is very easy to use and our clients love it too. We are allowed to set up a clients machine in no time and show them how to effective this tool has been for us.

Reliable lifesaver with straightforward tools

Crashplan has saved me multiple times, and makes it extremely easy to jump online and download a file that you either lost, or need a backup file for. We almost lost our core accounting company file, and I was able to recover an earlier version of the file in minutes. The setup took no time at all, and I get regular updates every time something is backed up. Love having this product keeping our information safe in the background.

Code42 is the complete solution. Our users can be sure they are backed up all the time and no need to worry if a file is deleted. Recovery is quick and the Admin portal is awesome to give us a high level review of all devices, backups, GB's backed up. Thanks Code 42

5 Star Client-side Backup Option

This is one of the best Client-side backup solutions around. Easy to install and even easier to administer. Set it and forget it.
