Creately Review for Lean Academy Projects
Overall, I had a great experience using Creately and have since recommended it to co-workers and executive management.
Vorteile
I appreciate that with Creately I had access to many different styles of templates for all of the Lean Academy and Six Sigma projects our department was embarking on. It saved a lot of time and energy to start with a template, rather than start from scratch.
Nachteile
Trying to make small edits (like font size and style) were very difficult, which made getting the finished product where I wanted a little frustrating. Also trying to get everything to fit on one page was a little time consuming.

Medical Imaging Decision Trees
We needed some flow charts and decision trees. What we had was colorless and not vertically oriented. This software allows a great deal of choice.
Vorteile
Easy to use. Great templates. The color and design of the data entry boxes makes an impact.
Nachteile
We did not have any trouble. There was not anything we didnt like because this was so much better than all of our past options.

Used for Health Fair Project
I'm a nursing student and had to a booth for a health fair. My part of the project was to make up brochures. I was able to make very professionally looking brochures using Creately. I recommended Creately to my group. It will make future projects easier for them and me. Many of them have school-age children who will be needing to use something like this, too.
Vorteile
It was fairly easy to use and has several options available for designs for projects.
Nachteile
Occasionally, when I'd try to "tweak" a little place on my project it would mess up the whole thing.

Good tool to draw desing diagrams
I use creately to create system architecture diagrams. It is very interesting tool.
Vorteile
Creately is easy to use software with great features and functionalities. It is capable of handling external images. That is the best feature that I am interested in. Have inbuilt templates is also a great feature.
Nachteile
New interface lacks features that the older one. Therefore I still use the older web app although it uses adobe flash player

pretty happy - still working out some things that might be more intuitive. Not using as much yet i thought i might but time will tell. I like that its a monthly reasonable fee.

Having a board that is very 'visual' it's been a big help to create charts and mapping of progress on the fly. Super fast and the end product is professional

Easy to use with fast results
Great option for those to use personally or as a business.

Using creately made making our flowcharts and personal diagrams a breeze. We can put together something for a meeting in minutes, making it look profession and easy to understand.
Nachteile
It could use a UI update every now and again but the functionality is still there and fairly simple to understand and create with.

I have been using this app a lot and I haven't seen any other app that has the same features as thing one has.

Good, but need improvements
Vorteile
As a SaaS product hosted in the internet, it is easy to access and work from anywhere. Also, the templates really help starting something new, and saves a lot of time.
Nachteile
When you put more informations than the template have, the software begins to be really slow and to have some bugs (e.g., some lines starts to disappear or to go in the wrong image).

Concept mapping
I have trouble with software like this whenever I’ve used it but Creately was by far the best option.
Vorteile
The software was pretty easy to manipulate without a lot of direction. I felt like I could open it up and get started right away.
Nachteile
Sometimes the lines between connections didn’t land where I wanted them or changed shape and that was frustrating.

So easy to use
Super easy, staff is very quick to respond.

Love how easy and quick it is to use. I find it to be very intuitive and user friendly. I like how customizable it is as well.

At one point my updates didn't save, but the team was super quick in resolving my issue and restored it.

Great start, but Pletica is better even if it’s more expensive.

I started with the app for school work purpose then discovered their applicability on my job and did great diagrams for couple projects, it was very good¡
Vorteile
Easy to use app for diagrams creation.
Several available examples and templates help to complete user ideas in very short time.
Colors and designs give amazing appearance to the work, user can save several jobs on line to use the on demand at any place or work station.

I like the software because it gives me the freedom to design as I need. I create diagrams, workflows and more for each specific client I have.
Nachteile
I wish there were more like styled templates that I can clone and replace text and images. Something to start with.
