Great for Large, Complex Deals- Easy to Use
Overall, this was a good experience. I am happy to see when DealRoom is used when I am involved in a deal.
Vorteile
Love being able to preview documents securely without downloading. Has helped a ton in deals with various entities involved in diligence.
Nachteile
While the product was easy to use, I wonder if they can add functionality to show what you have viewed/downloaded in the past. I found myself clicking around a bit not knowing what I had viewed already.

Good M&A organizing Software
Great customer support

the pre-loaded lists to things to choose from, organization and periodization of tasks.
Nachteile
New to it so still struggling to figure it all out. I really dislike that I can't track contacts and follow up prior to getting someone to a possible deal.

Overall a good product
Overall experience was very positive.
Vorteile
DealRoom has a lot of good features and is well organized. It is particularly well suited to the due diligence process.
Nachteile
There were a few features that could be improved, such as the lack of automatic notifications for changes to a persons access credentials.

Vorteile
Notifications on an instant basis and clear detail as to what documentation has been uploaded to the room

I don't think the DR is very user friendly compared to other providers.

Experience With Dealroom
Nice platform and User friendly

The most likeable from dealroom is, The notification is popped up when the new documents uploaded,
Nachteile
There is no notifications shown, When the document is moved from one place to the another place inside the deal room. Sometimes, It's difficult for another user to find out the documents.

Very Helpful DataRoom
Corporate transactions, managing documents for a transaction
Vorteile
DealRoom loads very fast, which cuts down on waiting time. Folders are easy to navigate and it is easy to determine which documents have been viewed. These little time-saving features help make the software itself fade into the background and allow deal work to take center-stage, which is exactly what a data room should do.
Nachteile
Occasional login issues; but otherwise a very smooth operation.

Limited Functionality
Vorteile
This software meets the basics: a platform for housing files throughout the due diligence process
Nachteile
Clunky design, slow processing capabilities, lack of security- accounts stayed logged in for days even after exiting the site

Positive experience with data room
Vorteile
DealRoom was easy to use, a very intuitive experience. Didn't experience issues like too infrequent of log-outs.
Nachteile
The navigation of sub-folders in side panes could be improved, but I find this true of most deal rooms.

Easy to Use
I've used many data rooms from many providers over the last few years, and the two most important features to me are whether the data room has an effective search feature and whether items are indexed for easy cross-reference. DealRoom delivers both a functional search option that returns relevant results and common-sense indexing.
Vorteile
The data room is easy to organize and has a great search feature.

I did not have any complaints about the software.

Easy to use
Vorteile
It was secure and easy to use. The email sent was detailed enough that you knew what had been uploaded to the deal room.
Nachteile
I didn't upload any documents, so I don't have much to offer regarding that part. I don't have any cons.

Scrolling down the sides for documents can be annoying and the list often moves around when closing a folder.

Easy to use and intuitive

What I liked most was the ease of use and the system's intuitiveness. Another great feature is the search functionality, which allows user to retrieve documents which are relevant to a particular topic.
Nachteile
There was really nothing that comes to mind. Software was overall a great tool in terms of dataroom environment.
