It removed many barriers for clients, made the user experience smooth and simple, enabling them to manage things from their side. Also, being able to create buffers between bookable sessions has been life changing for me, creates a discipline that I would struggle with if booking clients in manually. This means that I am properly ready for each session, instead of bouncing from back to back bookings. I also like how you can set global calendar settings so you don't have to repeat this part of the process.

Nachteile

I would like to charge in multiple currencies as my clients are based across many locations. I'd like to create some products in USD and others in different currencies. My business bank account works with multiple currencies, so I would like to charge in different currencies

Vorteile

What I like most about Book Like A Boss is the flexibility. You can create as many booking links as you'd like and all under the same or different schedules. I love that my clients can book when needed, there is no back and forth. I set up when I want to have open time and the rest gets filled in without any extra effort or time spent by me. I like that Book can take payment for paid services, making that efficient and seamless.

Nachteile

I think sometimes where things are can be a mystery. Sometimes I need to poke around and take more time than I need to find what I want.

It allows me to take payments and create group offerings. One of the things that is challenging when you have group offerings is to create easy follow-up reminders. Book like a Boss does it all!

Nachteile

I can't think of anything. I seriously looked for 2 years with intensive research to replace Calendly and then I found Book Like a Boss and it knocked it out of the park.

My biggest need was to allow my clients to schedule different types of appointments with me. While there are multiple other booking tools that exist, this was the only that allows me to sync with all 6 of my email addresses for pulling my availability and to schedule to just the one that is relevant to this business. While that's why I had initially went with BLAB, their implementation of how good the booking pages look, embeds, reminders, custom fields, reschedule as top notch. And they keep coming up with new features that are actually useful. They have fantastic support, and a very active and helpful user community on Facebook. Great company and great product. I have also set up my wife when she started her Nutritionist business.

I'm still waiting for them to give us a proper CRM :)

I have had an ongoing issue with certain appointments not being scheduled in my clients calendars correctly with the time being off by an hour. I have tried to have this resolved but it seems to be an issue that no one can get to the bottom of. It has caused me issues with clients.

Easy to learn and use even for nontechie people. The tutorials are great. The customer service is fast and helpful! The software is versatile, I'm able to create different products and appointments easily. I can have different price points and easily set up coupons for special pricing events. I can clone appointments and products then edit the details for a new product/appointment easily and quickly.

Nachteile

All the choices were a little overwhelming at first - brand colors, home page, add video, there are so many ways to personalize the account. I found the tutorials, and moved through them. I s and was able to follow the clear instructions.

I run my two businesses on BLAB. I love how easy it is to use, and the team keeps on adding new features, and how they create tutorials and answer questions when you have any. They keep on improving the tool and it feels like I’m getting a lot of features that save me time on a daily basis. As an online business strategist and business mentor for entrepreneurs, I want to recommend to my clients and community tools from company that keep on delivering great products and keep on improving based on customers feedback. This is what the BLAB team does. As a result, it has made me recommend BLAB to my community and my clients, besides using it myself. Personally, I use it to:
- book potential clients for discovery sessions,
- book current clients for their own Zoom sessions (great Zoom integration!),
- sell webinars and online products.
These are just a few of the ways that I use BLAB and recommend my clients to use it to. I also love the customisable branded links (long + short links), that allow me to run two separate businesses on one BLAB account. It’s made my life a lot easier, and is my virtual assistant for the booking part of my business. I also love that:
- it integrates with my Google calendar (kind of mandatory nowadays for a scheduling system, yet not all provide that),
- I can choose which days I want to work and which not,
- I can choose which appointments I have available for which days,
- The reminders that are sent to people who booked,
- The Paypal integration

Nachteile

For the way I run my business, I haven’t found any yet. It could perhaps look better. I am using something else for sales pages. Some of my clients are mentioniong they’d love to have CRM included in the tool, but that’s not what BLAB is (yet).

I really like that I can set up as many different products and apppointments as I want. My customers can schedule their appointments and can also buy my services. This makes life really easy. I really like that it looks like a landing page with some information about me, FAQs, testimonials and all products and services in the long version. On the other hand I can choose the lite version when someone only asks for a calendar.
I can limit the number of appointments per service or the number of persons who can book e.g. a training, which is really good.
The guys of BLAB keep on improving their service which I really appreciate.

Nachteile

Nothing, it´s perfect for me and I cannot complain.

I recommend Book Like a Boss to everyone that needs a schedule. It's easy to use, tutorials are perfectly done and easy to execute.

I love the booking page, the customizable (branded) links, the rendezvous and the products that we can sell through this software.

We can embed calendars on our website and customize the look.

I love the reminders that are sent to our customers previously to our rendezvous that reduces the "no show".

And lately, the AWESOME feature of fully customized dates makes me sing!!

And lastly, the possibility to create events and sell places makes this tool THE TOOL!

I recommend it to my community!

I have the Appsumo Venti plan and I LOVE the brand removal and 100 SMS reminders/mo add-ons!

I've found this software really easy to set up and very robust. It syncs to all of your calendars and also auto-deducts your client's time zones for easy booking. Not just that, you can take payments for appointments (the system integrates with Stripe, Square, & PayPal.)

Even though I won't use this feature, but I appreciate the full pages & lite pages where you get to add in an About Me section, social links, videos and testimonials.

Nachteile

This is just my personal preference, but user interface of the embedded calendar could use some improvement. I find it too small for my taste and not clear enough about the exact day a client is making the appointment on (the date is clear but not so much the day). This is actually why I'm still with Acuity and paying a monthly subscription.

I was also dissatisfied with the load time of the calendar, though I'm not 100% sure if that has been fixed at the time of this review, which is another reason why I'm still with Acuity.

Vorteile

The ability to sync with other calendars and also to my mobile phone, it's a mini virtual assistant and landing page in one web page. Very affordable for all that it offers and easy to use once it's learned.

Nachteile

Initially had to figure out how to get it to work with a stand-alone Office 365 Outlook. Had to use Google Sync to Outlook Sync application to force the sync and then push it to BLAB. Now it works and I'm happy.

Vorteile

Easy to use and set up. Love how it integrates with Google Calendar and Active Campaign (via Zapier). Automates setting up Zoom rooms. Sends reminders. Automates a task in ClickUp (via Zapier).
It saves me so much time and the process just runs and runs without issue. Just amazing software.

I was never really much for online scheduling software until I was introduced to Book Like A Boss. For the first time, I saw the depth of the program and how much it could assist me, and take all too often "call-tag" from taking place. It is a convenient way for my clients to schedule and get a hold of me...and me to stop chasing meetings and be more productive.

The only con is the system is so robust that I haven't learned everything that I can accomplish by using it., I'll get there.,..it's worth it!

it syncs well with my calendar; you can have as little or as much info on your page as you like and you can set up individual time availability slots for different appointments which is great. So it really personalises the products and appointments I offer

The worst part is when customers are filling out the form, it is difficult for them to scroll as it seems to be some sort of iframe popup which gives customers problems at times.

They do not update the design whatsoever. It's not very attractive looking. Very bare bones.

The scheduling platform market is competitive, and I'm surprised Book Like A Boss does not focus on design and customer UI whatsoever.

However, because the functionality is all there, this is slightly forgiven. As I prefer everything in working order.

The group booking functionality is not as good as it could be. It's like to be able to have a group coaching series of limited duration, say 6 weeks, and that's not easy to set up.

I rely on my calendar for all of my business interactions. I had never heard of BLAB and was using a different software that worked but I was starting to run into difficulties with it. It wouldn't always share with my Google calendar, etc. Then someone told me about BLAB and during a review I was hooked. I love it. I am, in fact going from the version I have to an upgraded one soon because it can do so much more!!!!!

I needed a way to streamline my scheduling across multiple time zones and multiple countries. Book Like A Boss showed up at a time when I was looking for scheduling automation. Installing and leveraging this product has saved me time and more importantly, has been easy for my customers to use.

I was using Calendly and switched to Book Like a Boss a few months ago. It has allowed me to consolidate two products into one as I can not only show my booking calendar, but have people fill out a custom questionnaire at the same time. It's really hard to beat for the price. I love that it syncs with my Google calendar.

Super versatile. I especially like how I can customize the colors for my brand, and then embed it to my website and even inside my course platform, with consistent brand.

Not the most intuitive software, but gets easier once you get the hang of it. For some reason, my clients find it hard to cancel or rebook an appointment though. The link inside the email is probably not as intuitive.

I've tried LOTS of scheduling tools. The reason I like this one is people get a reminder (I've chosen SMS & email) which significantly reduces no-shows.

I created several links I put on websites, newsletters, emails to help me source how people are finding out about my services.

I really benefited from the short videos for each function to set it up. As someone who is usually technically challenged this product gave me a new found sense of confidence and freedom and saved me so much time. It is great that I can use links to different services and products, marketing them on different social media platforms but all streamlined through your booking system and payments

My training/ service runs over several days but I don’t have that option to list it as 4 days so I have to fudge the calendar by booking 1 day then blocking the other 3 days

I also have a packages can be a hourly sessions either booked in a block or paid by the session
This challenges me a bit because it’s a group class
