Nachteile

- Depending on where you are, unstable internet connexion to their servers, causing drop frames and lost packages (might need a specific tool that can't be found on their website)
- Some streaming platform access might get blocked once in a while...
- No facebook Public page stream with the free version
- Chat bot can be a mess sometimes and stop working randomly. Never found out how to log out of the Restream chat application.
- Very hard to configure with Facebook public pages and Youtube gaming.

Vorteile

Restream has allowed me to livestream to both my YouTube channel and my Twitch channel at the same time, which has several benefits to me:

• I don't have to remember export Twitch archives to YouTube before they are automatically deleted.
• If someone on Twitch is having internet connection problems, they can go to the YouTube livestream and take advantage of YT's transcoding. Twitch does have this feature, but only broadcasters of significant viewership (i.e., not mine) are able to use it.
• Before Twitch created a hard bitrate limit of 6000 kbps, I would stream to Restream at 9000 kbps, which both YouTube and Twitch supported. Unfortunately, I can't do this anymore. I have some Restream Transcoder hours left over from when I helped beta test that feature, but it's not worth it for me to use.

Restream has also done a fantastic job of implementing features that are supportive to multistreamers, such as combined chats.

Nachteile

I don't really have any complaints. Just keep on being amazing!

The thing I love most about Restream is the simplicity in changing your titles & games on each site. The fact that you can do it with generally, two clicks, is amazing! Also, all your chats in the one window - integrated into OBS. Great!

Nachteile

Can't really say there is anything I dislike. I would love to be able to stream to a Facebook page without having to pay for it though. Get rid of Facebook personal page and replace it with a Facebook page.

Vorteile

The ability to stream to major and smaller platforms with ease! This allows me to access a larger possible audience without having to pick and dedicate myself to one. Additionally, it allows me to interact with them through the multi-platform chat and have more in-depth and useful statistics.

Nachteile

Some functions have had issues and it hasn't been the smoothest experience. For a time the stream dropped frames from Restream and sometimes Restream chat can't keep up. Thankfully, support fixes these quickly once the issue is raised!

Vorteile

The amount of services and playforms you can multi stream to is wonderful. The ease of changing all titles at the same time has been a wonderful addition to the service since it was implemented. It is quite easy and reliable to use restream to all accounts and platforms. Plus the different campaigns

Sometimes i feel like the FTL setting doesnt worn too well and bitrate falls a bit and even though it works well with mixer it doesnt go well with twitch and i cant make individual changes to the settings.

Easy and simple to setup everything you need to know is right on the site and its very easy to understand.

The one and only drawback to it is if you want to stream to lets say a page you have setup on Facebook not your personal page but a creator page you will have to get the paid version

i dont like the part how certain streaming services are not added i ask support about it & they say they will get a word in with there support team about adding them but never happens its like 4 months until something gets added even if it does get added

Unless you have some single website exclusivity contract, you should be using Restream. It does all of the grunt work for you, its one of the simpler UIs out there. What it offers for free, makes you want to pay for the Pro version, just to support their amazing company.

Nachteile

You could demand better performance and more sites, but that's just the free version.

Easy to setup, able to change the game and title for most services from the dashboard. Able to connect social media accounts and send a message when you go live. Ability to stream to a large number of services.

Adds a little to the stream delay. Can only stream to multiple channels on the same service if you pay (use to be free)

This software allows me to not only post my live stream to multiple services at once, but it also allows me to post social media messages to the main ones I use, to post my live links, as well as a message!
The fact that you also get a report on your stream afterwards makes it even better for technical people like myself to ensure I deliver the best possible experience to my viewers!

Loving being able to reach out and stream to many different platforms, so I can get discovered quicker!! It works amazingly and I’m very pleased!! I currently stream to Twitch, Mixer and DLive as of right now while using Restream!! Restream is the only way that it can make it happen!!

Nachteile

The chat delay and sometimes it doesn’t pick up everything. I haven’t came across any other glitches or bugs yet!! I hope I won’t.

It is very simple and easy to use, quick to setup, and has never given me any problems since I started using it in August of 2016!

I do not like that custom RTMP and streaming to multiple channels on the same platform is not possible without a subscription. However, I understand why this is. Other than that, I do not dislike anything about the software!

I like giving users a choice as to where they watch my content, but didn't really want to spend time and effort trying to make my own RMTP server. Thankfully Restream gives me pretty much all the options I could want, and its integrated chat program makes it easy to manage multiple chatrooms from one place. It's certainly made my life a lot easier overall.

Nachteile

Ping times sometimes don't make sense. Why do I get a better ping from Seattle rather than San Jose when I'm in Los Angeles. Likely not their fault, but something confusing.

The ease of streaming to multiple platforms was beyond easy. They have multiple service providers that they have made convenient for you to login and associate with in order to restream.

I did not have any cons other than having the ability to stream to FB as well as a free option.

I started using this as I wasn’t sure what streaming service to use. As such I streamed to 3 at the same time to see which would take off fastest. Even now that I exclusively stream to twitch, I use this to get a stream to YouTube which I post as a VOD after the 24 exclusive period for Twitch ends.

I would like a little more flexibility where I can also update game category and go live notification as well, as it does not replace the need to also use Twitch dashboard.
