I like how you only need to set it up once and it’s done. Also, the restream chat is well made and easy to use.

Nachteile

It’s not easy to change twitch servers and know which ones have the best connection. Sometimes, I need to change servers to get transcode options on twitch.

Vorteile

I loved that I could stream on multiple platforms at once without having to always change my streaming key. It made my life so much easier.

Nachteile

I did not like the fact that facebook was a paid only platform for restream.

I can choose from up to 30 different platforms to live stream to at one time & I don't take any hit on my hardware. You can even customize your titles & some descriptions directly within Restream, instead of going to every single platform individually. Very helpful as a content creator.

Nachteile

Sometimes things break & don't work as intended, but this seems pretty rare. However, it is annoying that you have to pay to stream to your Facebook public page. Personal Facebook page is free, but that's not where I want my content going.

The fact that Restream will stream out to all of these different services at once is really amazing. I don't have to make my audience decide on where to watch because they can use the service they feel more comfortable with.

Nachteile

The features I use are very sparing compared to someone who probably pays for the service. However, if I had to choose a con for something it's that the chat has a longer delay than the chat that is inside SLOBS. While the majority of the time it's not an issue, there are times where it has stopped updating or other times where it'll take up to 60 seconds for the message to appear compared to SLOBS.

The Windows chat client paired with the RTMP streaming app of your choice makes for a super easy mini live production studio.

I’ve used it with Streamlabs/OBS (Windows and Android), Livestream Mevo Camera and Ubiquiti Networks FrontRow camera. They have all been flawless.

Nachteile

Older versions of the chat app seemed to disconnect over very LONG streams (24hrs+), but this seems to have been improved recently.

The ease of use of the software is great, and it allows me to integrate my OBS into Youtube, Facebook and Twitch without much difficulty.

Having to deal with multiple platforms is protected behind a paywall, so it would be better off that the paywall is lifted so all avenues of streaming is unlocked.

The user interface was easy to use and navigate. Streaming and RTMP was easy to connect and the streaming quality was great. I used it with OBS and it worked great. Compared to other software, this worked the best!

For me I’m a casual user, maybe a couple times per month, so the cost wasn’t justifiable for my company. The biggest issue for me though was the chat interface, it looked cheap and way too off brand for me.

Restream makes streaming to multiple platforms simple. It is overall, very easy to use and it is dependable. I seldom have issues with it, and when I do, customer service is prompt and helpful.

Nachteile

It is still not quite as compatible with Facebook as I would like and having to post the new keys every stream is a bit irritating. I know they are still developing this though, and I'm sure it will continue to get better and better.

What I'd like to see is more platforms available on the service. I'd definitely like to also see Facebook Business streams implemented in the free version. Streaming to your own profile really doesn't make much of a difference as far as dissemination, because obviously way more people can follow a business page on Facebook than a personal profile.

I started using this as I wasn’t sure what streaming service to use. As such I streamed to 3 at the same time to see which would take off fastest. Even now that I exclusively stream to twitch, I use this to get a stream to YouTube which I post as a VOD after the 24 exclusive period for Twitch ends.

Nachteile

I would like a little more flexibility where I can also update game category and go live notification as well, as it does not replace the need to also use Twitch dashboard.

The chat is my favorite part of the software as it was very easy to implement into my streams, and the main use of the software the multi broadcast allows me to reach a wider audience that I wouldn't have been able to reach otherwise without using the program.

Nachteile

Sometimes there are some small bugs in the program but once you get the initial setup done on the website it is very easy to use.

I love the fact it can read out my comments. As a small Youtuber and Twitch streamer being able to hear your comments so you don't miss them when you are focused in game is great. The fact that both platform chats can be in one window is great.

Nachteile

It tends to stop working during use if the chat does out for a certain period of time. Then you have to close out and reopen the program. Missed chat messages go unread because of it.

I believe the best option Restream has is its Free Plan. It's so useful because it lets you to stream on Twitch and Youtube at same time, for free, plus it lets you to stream on Twitch indirectly(So helpful if you have connection issue with Twitch)

I wish there was one more platform to choose for multistreaming in Free Plan.

It does what it's supposed to do, taking one stream and sending to multiple sites channels (YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, Periscope, Facebook). I use it everytime i stream from my PC and also when i stream public events for my clients. They also offer a combined chat program that works great for free. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but 90% of what you'd want for a streamer.

Nachteile

I can't complain about a program that's free. The only thing i don't like is that i need to pay the subscription to stream to a Facebook account.

Vorteile

It's quite easy to use and set up along with being able to connect to basically every streaming platform. It helps to grow an audience because, even on the free version, I can still reach two streaming platforms instead of one.

Nachteile

The added delay because my stream is going through a separate service makes it really hard to interact with chat. Also sometimes the connections just don't work and I have to either reconnect (specifically to Mixer) or restart the stream.

There are visual artifacts that appear on 75% of streams, and the chat will continually disconnect not allowing you to broadcast chat on screen or to see chat at times.

It allows us to stream out to many different streaming sites such as Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and more. It is simple to setup. It also is able to combine chats from each streaming site and let you know where each post is being made from.

I kept having audio issues and buffering. I changed my hardware and the streaming program but wasn't able to get better results so I didn't keep the program. Otherwise it would have been exactly what I needed.

I like how easy it is to plug in your destinations so you can have Twitch and YouTube streaming simultaneously. The cross platform chat with OBS integration is awesome so I don't need multiple apps running so use less resources on my PC.

Facebook Page streaming being a paid feature, I do not make money streaming, I use OBS because it is free, I use the free version of Restream and cannot afford to go with a paid plan. Would like me to be able to steam to my Facebook Gaming page too, but alas that feature is not available for broke folk such as myself .

With Restream, you can stream to multiple channels at once and enjoy a live studio audience. The scheduling of videos is also very convenient- it's like they're prerecorded!

inerating pricing and the user experience could be improved. A companion app would make it even better! The website itself works well enough on mobile devices but does look pretty cramped because of its layout which can lead you into confusion when trying navigate between different pages or check out orders quickly near your location .

The way they monetize (has a basic level for free)initially it was just limited to three platforms to stream but cost to do more, now they have some services behind a paywall as well.

Restream allows me to connect my Digital Audio Workstation to OBS Studio. This allows me to capture sound from my projects when I'm doing screen recording. Other software has not allowed me to do this and I'm forever grateful.

I was constantly banned on many platforms and it was nearly impossible to get it set up on each one. There are no guidelines or tutorial videos on the site.. You have to be a real nerd to figure stuff out here.

It's so hard to contact customer support. The livechat option doesnt work and keeps on glitching.

I wish there's a filter in the chat that when you cross post it's not so spammy when it shows in the chatroom.

I also wish they'll fix the streamcraft linking option because it keeps disconnecting.

I also think you should make a mobile app to make it easier to see and manage the stream.

Individual streaming service disconnecting stream key. Quite frustrating, having to re-add stream key and set the stream up from the ground up all over again.

When I sat down for the first time in front of the livestream portal (in the browser), I didn't have to hunt for anything. It is an intuitive layout that will be easy for anyone with some computer know how. And a complete novice could be trained, and with practice (trust me, I work with volunteers), look like a pro.

The only downside is bandwidth needs. Unfortunately, with current technology, video needs the band width. The only way I know around this is lower quality video (which can be accomplished if you know your equipment).

The interface is fluid and easy to figure out. I use it for studio session live streams and tutorials. It's also easy to share steams through social media sites. Works like a charm.

What I like Most about Restream is that they do the "heavy lifting" of knowing and adapting to the ever changing FaceBook Live protocols so that I don't have to!

What I like least about this software is that I do have to learn what a custom rtmp is and how to add it to my streaming hardware.

Allows a streamer to access dozens of content delivery networks, and interact with the communities in each, for free! Allows pro users to opt for transcoding to customize their stream to each network.

Nachteile

Some of the optional features like game drop down lists (too sparse) and setting tittles for each network can bug out. Meaning when you go live, the wrong information is displayed.
