Great for a Fundraising Event
I've had a great experience with Whova using it for an annual charity fundraising event and appreciate the attentive customer service I've received.
Vorteile
The fee structure of Whova is far and away better than other event platforms I've used. We use Whova for a fundraising event, so lower fees help us raise more money for charity. Everything on the platform is super intuitive and user-friendly.
Nachteile
It's not a con, but there are a lot of features I don't use on the platform so I don't necessarily use it to the most of its capabilities.

Whova Makes Conference Life Easy to Navigate!
I have used Whova for several events, including Black Blockchain in DC.
Vorteile
The agenda at a glance, the ability to take notes w/i the app to remember important aspects of presentations, the east at which you can connect with others and so much more.
Nachteile
I don't like the fact that when I have to use Whova for work, I have to register with my work email and all of my personal events are somewhere else. I wish there were an easier way to toggle between personal and professional profiles.

Great for any event
Vorteile
Event agenda and participants are easy to see and interact with. I also like the top 10. It helps engagement and getting to know others before the event starts.
Nachteile
Haven't really found one yet. I would have to say, getting contact information out of Whova and getting it to a CRM.

I was an attendee
I have used the platform twice as a virtual attendee. It seems to work best when there is a dedicated and designated "producer" to handle the AV. I attended a conference recently which used the platform for a relatively small group in one session where this didn't seem to happen, and the presentation was not shared for one-third of the time and the sound was not good as the speakers were not speaking into a microphone, but speaking to those present in person.
Vorteile
There is a lot going on in Whova platform, and most aspects of a virtual conference seem to have been given at least some though
Nachteile
It's not always as easy to move from one part of the platform to the other as I think it could be. It would be nice to be able to "pop out" the main presentation screen and keep the rest of the platform on another screen for those of us who have multiple screens.

Vorteile
Great way to communicate as a group around certain questions and topics as part of the conference.
Nachteile
Hard to access the messages or the contacts that reach out to you to exchange contact info. Email reminders do not have a link to the actual message in the app.
