Get Connected & Stay in the Flow
Vorteile
Whova provided an excellent conference experience for session locations, interactions with other attendees, and all of the resources are available. There were so many sessions that I wanted to attend, however not enough hours in the day!
Nachteile
Whova web version was utilized, and all areas were functioning (Community, Messages, updates, etc. Really no cons.

Great app for participants and vendors.
Vorteile
As a vendor, it was absolutely awesome to be able to scan the QR codes on participants' badges, add notes about conversations I had with them, and then get a spreadsheet of all of that right in my email inbox.

I would have liked to get the city and state information for participants that were interested in my business.

Good experience overall
Good. It got me to my sessions and was always updated in case there was a change of location.

Whova makes the conference more efficient
Vorteile
It makes the conference more organized, especially for those who have satellite symposia. I can add the talks I want to attend to the calendar and set up the reminder. This way I wouldn't miss any talks since I can check the calendar anytime. It also saves a lot of paper as I don't need to print out the agenda.

Great tool for Confernce organizers and attendees
Vorteile
easy to use, you can pick the sessions you want to go to and see them all in one place, it even allows you if two sessions are at the same time. it also allows for you to see on a map where your sessions are. It allows for pre-session questions and allows for ease of sharing information post session.
Nachteile
It doesnt always track attendees accurately, as not every one shows up, this still leaving some manual counting and such.

Really helpful conference app!
I registered for this conference late, but instead of being scrambled about the details of the conference, I knew that all the details were in one place -- on the Whova app. This gave me the opportunity to arrive at the conference collected and confident.

Easy to use app for anyone of all ages!
Vorteile
Super easy to use. We used this app for our conference last year so I was very pleased to see that it was being used again this year because I remember how easy it was to navigate. In our industry (construction) we live by our outlook/google calendars - so to have something look very similar to the platforms we use everyday, made it that much better to adapt too. I love the set up of the days at the top and the times with details listed underneath - just makes everything organized.
Nachteile
Honestly - nothing. As mentioned on the previous page, we had a glitch with a real time update that didn't take place so it confused some people on which room to go to as it was showing the same seminar with the same speaker but in two different rooms. Once the room was changed, the app should have deleted the old room location so that people knew the proper place to go. But no big deal - we helped each other out via the messaging feature!

Good event app for the price
Overall, our experience was good. For the price we paid, it worked for mostly what we needed. We got frustrated that every time we needed to add something (more documents, sponsors, session self-checkin, certificates) it was an additional cost which adds up quickly.
Vorteile
Whova is pretty intuitive to set up and use.
Nachteile
The Gamifications are not very customizable nor can you add your own games in. The lead scanning functionality is not the best as you cannot customize the questions fields and it was hard to tell who scanned leads per device. Everything is very a la cart. If you want to add more features, everything is an additional cost so the base price is just a starting point.

I have used it in many different functions and capacities, and it always impresses. The ease of use allows anyone to use it, the nature of the app allows for more connection and information. The ability to make something that usually is dreadful or time consuming is now a piece of cake and worth looking at.

Lots of Wonderful information!
My overall experience with Whova is very good! It has been an amazing resource to see, her, and learn new things through other people. I really enjoy hearing the speakers talk and teach us in different topics to help us grow in many ways. I can't wait for the next conference next year!

What I liked the most about Whova is that I am able to learn new things and grow as I become a better teacher and Christian. I love how I can go back and look at the videos, documents, slides, etc to point them out and save them for later use.
Nachteile
What I liked the least about Whova is that sometimes its hard to keep up with the live stream videos and the lagging that occurs during the conferences. Other than that, I love everything else.

I used it during the Interreg Knowledge Fair 2023 in Ghent and 2024 in Riga, it does a great job for events of this kind

Three events with Whova
Overall using Whova has improved my conference experiences. I'd like my organization to explore using Whova for future events.
Vorteile
I've used Whova for three different conferences I've attended over the past year. I really like that I can see who's attending and make outreach to folks in advance of the event, letting them know I'd like to connect. I also appreciate the ability to take notes about sessions in the app and how those are sent to me after the event to make sure I don't lose any of the learnings from the conference experience.
Nachteile
There are a lot of bells and whistles in Whova and it can be a bit overwhelming to see all the polls and potential meet ups and announcements on the "community" tab. I'm assuming that event organizers can disable some of those things and would recommend they do for the sake of their participants.

Vorteile
I did not see that any event (I attend many) is as well supported as IFEAT who uses Whova to offer the user an outstanding capacity to anticipate on the event, network & schedule meetings during the 3 months preceding the event. It has set my expections high and I am repeatedly disappointed at other events for the set up the offer. Also the months following the event I can replay the conferences I have no time to follow during the event.
Nachteile
I do not use the agenda as I want my meetings tracked in my outlook.Also the tool is not very intuitive.When I am in the messages function with a specific attendee, I would like to have an icon to access the profile of the attendee without exiting the message session. Today I must exit, go to the attendee, check the info, go back to message.

I have been on both the organizer side and the user side of this app and have found it to be very user friendly.

allows you to customize your app to you by putting in what sessions you want to go to, but can switch it back to all sessions to be able to switch what classes you attend

Everything made mobile and compact
It's a great app and I wish everyone used it, no matter what industry. I'd love to be the person selling this to conferences and advertisers/sponsors. This is much better and I am sure cheaper than using printed material to attempt to do the same!

Vorteile
I like that there are so many ways to interact with event organizers and other attendees. It's also simple to get any materials that they post a head of time.
Nachteile
Maybe narrow down the number of chats or consolidate similar topics into one stream so you're not having to monitor multiple chats for the information you want.
