Great but Watch Out for Fees!
The product has been great minus down time and stability issues. They will also tell you to upgrade to a higher service level if you have clients outside of the USA using the service.
Vorteile
Great for managing uploads and simplifying the process or transforms and multi-file uploads.
Nachteile
No way to delete files easily. Currently we have 500k files we need deleted and are being billed an extra $500/mo for files we don't want. Good luck getting help. They will give you an excel document to say go delete them with. A simple fix in the UI but they won't since it probably makes them money.

Eliminated my need for file handling code in web-apps
I run a small software shop, and we build small to medium web-apps. Every each one of those require some sort of ad-hoc file uploading. By using Filestack, we were able to remove 1500 lines of code, and 3 dependency modules.
We got the crop and other image manipulation for free (which we could add as billable features ;)
Vorteile
0 backend code. 1 line client side.
Nachteile
Need for proxy behind enterprise firewalls.
Cost.

Great solution!
If you're looking for a drop-in, simple solution, look no further. Filestack is easy to use, full of options and compatible along with a wide range of platforms and frameworks. I highly recommend it.
