Vorteile
It works and it is very easy to customize. There are many ready to use free dictionaries to add as well as some paid ones.
Nachteile
It takes a few extra steps to share the glossary with all my other computers than some of the other options.

Amazing time-saver
saving time daily
Vorteile
Very easy to use, intuitive, saves time, automatic backups. I can also use it to remember important information.
Nachteile
I have to really think hard about this. I am still learning how to format things in the best manner. Sometimes the shortcuts do not automatically appear in certain programs (I can see it in IE, but not in chrome). Sometimes the selection box is in the way of what I want to see.

Makes customer-service oriented jobs so easy!
Vorteile
Love the efficiency and customizing features on this software. It allows a quick entry to expand into popular answers to FAQs. Answering emails becomes so much quicker and more painless.
Nachteile
The only issue I take with this software is you can't use two phrase expanders one after the other on the same email. If I want to reply to a FAQ, then use a phrase expander for my own signature (as I may use PE on a shared drive for others) it doesn't allow me to.

Customization.
Vorteile
Customization! I use Enterprise Architect for software design of a first-order reasoning system. I am designing/writing in CycL - a LISP variant - on top of Enterprise Cyc. CycL is not supported in ANY of the IDE or SublimeText-type editors. I created my own entries for the conventions of CycL and my own system. Has saved me an IMMENSE amount of time and has drastically decreased my typing-error frustration! Wonderful system!

Saves so much time
the coding language takes a few minutes to learn if you've never done anything like that before, but once you figure it out, its a breeze! Saves so much time - I'd spend another 2 to 4 hours charting each day without it.

Great tool to decrease time spent doing what I like least about medicine...the paperwork.
Time saved in completing patient charts and other correspondence.
Vorteile
Fast, easy customization. The ability to share glossaries with staff and other providers. Very responsive support when questions arise.
Nachteile
Would be nice to see a feature where numbers can be assigned to variables that are then usable in math expressions.

You can actually assign numbers to variables and use them to calculate scores.
We have some examples to do that on our website.

It has allowed me to transcribe data and information about the recipes and recommendations of my patients in a shorter time, which has allowed me to systematize the care process.
Vorteile
I like the system of autocompletación of phrases, medicines, diagnoses and all the correct terminology and suitable for the generation of reports and recipes with a greater rapidity.
Nachteile

Very easy to use
I have had a great experience, no issues yet. At this point the only suggestion I would have is that we have an option to copy for someone else to utilize the same stuff. Easier way of export.

Physician documentation made much less painful
Amazing help
Vorteile
reduces burdensome documentation in no time. My productivity has increased dramatically. As a physician I can see now using this software some light at the end of the tunnel.
Nachteile
It would be great if there are self learning features of words you use frequently. Meaning if you write text that the program picks up on the words you are using and does not give you hints of words that are scientific but not at all close to what you are using

Great Product
Overall the product is great and I'd recommend it to anyone doing a lot of redundant tasks.

This product is great for creating consistent work that can be done quickly. It makes redundant tasks so much easier. Using it across a team works great because you can standardize what's written and it creates one library for all phrases.
Nachteile
Sometimes the software doesn't work as expected. Usually restarting it fixes the problem but seems to be buggy sometimes

I think it is the best so far

It is an awesome software, it makes writing the notes very easy and quick task with very tiny room for mistakes.

It does not provide much help when you have to write a complex patient's history

PhraseExpander has been an invaluable productivity tool for our organization
PhraseExpander has helped our Rehab team to improve the overall efficiency of our documentation, while also making it easier to maintain compliance when requirements change. We are able to make quick changes to the phrase templates as needed, allowing for easy customization without the need to go through our IS Department.
In use, it just takes a few clicks for a therapist to enter what they did and the patient's response to the treatment. This has saved therapists a significant amount of time while also improving the content of our documentation.
You wouldn't be able to convince our therapists to go back to documenting without PhraseExpander. The other great thing about the software is that it can be used alongside any electronic medical record (EMR), so we don't need to worry about what software our organization may change to in the future. Our phrases will always be accessible.

Amazing Program

Tons of time saved
Typing up extensive notes does not have to take forever now with PhraseExpander. Instructions were spot on, the reps are very helpful and prompt with answering questions and suggesting ways to use the product. Wish I found out about this many years ago.

Easy to integrate with my workflow. The dental software that is use is very specialized, but PhraseExpander integrates well with it.

Making my life easier
It's been an excellent experience overall. It has been worth every penny. I'm thrilled I've put the time in to make it work for me!

A pathology service's review of PhraseExpander
Our organisation provides pathology services to the health sector in Australia. We introduced PhraseExpander to our Anatomical Pathologists a few years ago to assist them in their writing of pathology reports. They love it. It is easy to use and has all the features and functionality that they need. On those occasions when customer support is required, it is readily available. PhraseExpander has become an indispensable product to us.

pretty cool app for formal papers/documents
this app made it easier to fill out things I had already been autosaving and definitely saved me time.
