Convenient way to store and free up space
Vorteile
We work with so many documents on a daily basis that is ties up a lot of storage on the computer as a unit. It was causing our systems to run slow no matter which computer or laptop we were on in the office. When we learned of this, did some research and chose to go with it, we noticed an increase with the speed of our systems. It was not hard to use and is very user friendly. Google customer support has thus far been very useful, and we are looking forward to using this for the business.
Nachteile
The biggest complaint was the amount of time it took to get started with the actual upload process. We almost thought that it wasn't going to work. We had so many files to upload to the Google Cloud, that could have been what was stalling the process, because no other issues could be seen.

It is very convenient to use, it integrates smoothly through different applications and makes ensuring your data is safely stored easy.

in order to take full advantage you have to download the program to each computer which isnt hard but a neusince if you use different computers and need to instantly save info, otherwise you can still access through your google drive direct

Google Cloud is a good platform for BI, but it's a bit complicated.

For setting up systems and onboarding users, I prefer GCP over Azure and AWS. GCP’s workflow feels more developer-oriented, while Azure and AWS cater more to system administrators and engineers.

Solid Cloud Storage
Vorteile
Very easy to share files/folders with others, and control what kind of access users have. It's very handy allowing everyone to view a file, but only letting certain people modify it. Great for keeping documents secure and tracking changes.
Nachteile
Sometimes the sharing of documents and controlling permissions can cause and odd layout, and spread folders around haphazardly on the homepage. Not a huge deal, but means you have to manually organise things every so often. The control over file access can be a double-edged sword, and occasionally require more micromanagement to get working precisely how you like it.

Great tool
It's very easy and comfortable software to use. It's safe to access and I know that I will never loose any documents. Once on the drive, it will be forever on the drive.

I use Google on my daily tasks both personally and professionally. It's easy and safe to access from any device. And it's easy to share documents (view only). I never lost a document or picture again. Even if I or someone delete something by mistake It's easy to access the previous versions of the document and recover it.
Nachteile
I wish that it was easier to transfer documents from and to my laptop into my Google Drive folders. Most times it doesn't give that option. I need to download the document and then manually do it. Another downside is sharing documents with a person. Most times it asks permission for the other person to edit it. I normally just download it and then email it.
