One of the features I like most is the possibility to directly create tasks on MeisterTask. From there, I can take the tasks to our work app, Runrun.it through Zapier.

Nachteile

Sometimes it's hard to keep the layout the way you'd like, because it doesn't let you overlap the items. So, you are forced to stretch the groups.

What I like about this program is it is very easy to use. It could give me the best way to map the ideas on my mind and replicate it into a web-like flow of how the ideas goes in my mind. I could just let them show it all then easily move each item to where it should be connected. It is easier for me to just list all of it first then arrange and think if it is already good. I could come back anytime when things are changed.

Nachteile

The limited count of mind maps for the free version. I hope this could have unlimited mind maps on free version. Only that actually because the other features on the paid versions are good for requiring to pay. I think they could help more people to use their program especially like I when I only need to mind map everything and I don't need the other features of the paid version.

I like the fact that there is a free edition you can continue to use. Upgrade, if you need the extra features.

I just don't like the way the mind maps look. It seems like a minor thing, but it has work the way your mind works to be useful. I want a simple tree with a node at the top and branches that face down from there. Each node should be collapsible with expand/collapse. I want to like it. I just don't.

I use Mindmeister to remove the congestion out of my mind and set it up in a clear and understandable (for me) way. Very useful.

It is very easy to use and create tons of projects from scratch. You can brainstorm multiple topics in a single page and then connect them in a more logic way by demand.

Even though you can share a project with multiple people, you can't edit the same project at the same time, or the software only recorganize one of the editings.

Intuitive mind mapping tool that for the most part is free to use. Obviously if you need / want all the 'hokey kokey' features you have to upgrade, but i have found that, at the moment, the free version is suffice for my needs.

All the printing downloading can't really be done with out upgrading

This software is a must if you like me deal with a lot of information and knowledge and want to enjoy planning, organizing and sorting things out in your both professional and personal lives !
It is easy and fun to use and you can create as many mind maps as you wish for all sort of things ! Adding pictures and customizing your map is super easy too.

I cannot easily use the mobile app like the web app.

In Real Estate there are so many moving parts and so many systems and processes. Once I tried MindMeister to help keep my processes in front of me, I noticed I was becoming more organized and less forgetful from stress overload. This software is easy to use, friendly display. It does not take much time arranging ideas (a wide range of themes, layouts) or decorating it to our liking. Most crucially, it does help me retrieve info logically and not become overwhelming.

I really like the keyboard shortcuts, because it allows the quick construction of children on the map, a function to return to the center of the map, a function of history of changes.

When the map has many children it is difficult to see it all. I think the font size should increase when the zoom decreases, so that we can read.

I use a lot of mind mapping in my business because it helps me to wrap my head around new concepts or issues I’m trying to work through. I was pleased to see this could transfer to computer format.

I found it fairly easy to use. I’m not very tech savvy so this is a big bonus for me.

I think I’ll continue to use this for conceptualization.

As an individual obsessed with growth and results, Mindmeister has helped me immediately declutter ideas. All the advantages and freedom of traditional brainstorming, with the digital advantages of an unlimited canvas and redos. Great UI, and reliable response time. Still an early user so have not yet used the software to its full capacity, but can already see its value.

Nachteile

The user experience on touchscreen devices is a bit iffy. Great to use on desktop, but a bit tricky to navigate and edit on mobile. This may require a different interface entirely? Perhaps workflow is best optimised to use Mindmeister on desktop and MeisterTasks on mobile, but there is a great opportunity to explore for tablet and iPad users.

It has created a huge clarity when it comes to arranging a bit bigger event with more people involved. And it has been so easy to put on links and there they are, ready to be opened and read again - and taking notes on which article is about, - and what to remember, what have happened/been accomplished so far. It's so easy to keep track on where I'm at with the project when using this software. I love it!

I wasn't able to make more detailed/organized notes. For instance: I wasn't able to make a checklist in a note. I had to separately make a 'branch' and then check it off, although the tasks are related to the same work area.

This software makes it easy to coordinate and share information, including attachments like brand assets, with my team. The layout and navigation are smooth and intuitive, and I love how easily it integrates with MeisterTask and vice versa, turning task lists into mind maps and back.

I wish the mapping structure was more flexible; ie, that I could drag nodes around and position them to my liking. I got spoiled by Vue (the mindmapping software, not the web interface) back when, I guess.
