I used two accounting package Tally and Easy Accounting and found tally is very easy to use and understand. Also provide number of desired reports, we can configure number of features as per our requirement, A new user/untrained user is also able to manage accounting and inventory by taking little bit trainin.

Accounting for 8 sub companies done easily in one place. Payroll, GST etc. is very easily done.

It's very easy and smother compare to another accounting software.
Vorteile
Smoothly, report is highly accuracy. Profit and loss we can find immediately. Mostly trading organization using tally which is easy and accuracy.
Nachteile
Customer LPO is not showing in SOA. You have to improve this issue. Not able to print bank account details in Invoice with swift code in UAE. This thing they have to improve. We can't upload signed invoice in the tally. Because of cloud base issue.

We can maintain accounts of our customers. The interface is easy to use. We can file tax returns through this software and can also import and export our data. We can also take direct printouts of our balancesheets.
Nachteile
We can not edit our data online if we do not have access to our computer. If we are not taking backups and our software crashes then our data will be lost

Been using tally for the past 2 years or so and hardly had problems except for lag which isn't that often either. It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it
Nachteile
I don't know why but there seems to be a lag problem with many accounting softwares like this one. Tally crashes a few times and this one time all the previous entries were lost.

This software is the basic and most user friendly. once you set it up, then all you have to do is add in your digits as per the order / invoice and it will keep track of your accounts and with the new update in UAE, even your VAT returns.

the app is the most easiest accounting software to use, but at the same time, they could work a bit more on the User Interface.

Although a complete accounting software, yet steep learning curve
If they could come up with a simpler solution, that will help us who are not familiar with accounting terms.
Vorteile
Earlier, thought of implementing for my boutique shop that is operated side-by-side with the internet cafe. Yes, it has all the features of an accounting system with GST and more.
Nachteile
I needed a simple system to maintain the stock and found the learning curve too steep to continue.

Definately have a look at it before you take your final decision

1) easy to set up , use and learn new features
2) easy to install and transfer
3) all permutations and combinations covered
Nachteile
1) If the overall data is bigger or no of entries are more (like happens in case of Trading concern) any system slows down whether its server or local machine which results into slow working and overall performance of any accounting professional

It is a useful ERP tool for small and medium sized businesses.
Vorteile
Tally is easy to set up and it is also user friendly. The price is very affordable, given the broad range of the features and functions provided by the software.
Nachteile
There are limitations for the software to handle huge amount of data. But this shouldn't be a problem for small or medium sized businesses.
