I was at first skeptical about using GoDaddy because i knew how i wanted my website to be exactly. But they are very helpful, they literally give you everything to help you with for building your site. I like how they take a little quick to get to know you at first.

The least thing about is that when the fre trail end you have to pay to continue to use the site in order to build your website.

Initially it was due to brand recognition. I have seen many TV ads over the years for GoDaddy, so naturally it was the first i thought of when i needed my own website

I always thought GoDaddy was only a domain delivery, however when searching for a Wix or template website builder, I saw that GoDaddy was a player in the game now. I chose GoDaddy based on pricing and trying out the website builder tool. It has some nice basic features to build a site for someone with no real experience.

During the process of building a website, I did notice that there are a few frustrating things as compared to the Wix website builder. The builder is slow and takes time to refresh, there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. There are limited layout options and color applications if I want to brand my site with intention and not use it out of the box. The domain purchase linked to the builder is a little clunky as well on the billing end.

I chose GoDaddy as a cost-effective way to get a small business website up in a timely fashion. I have no interest in website design, and as someone who needed to get make business information available quickly and with a professional look, but didn't have extensive funds to put into this, GoDaddy was easy to use.

If you happen to choose a theme - unlike how Squarespace works - you will be locked into the features of that theme. If there is a way to modify/add buttons or change layout, I have not found it. It's unfortunate, because now that I am more comfortable working with GoDaddy and would like to personalize specific items, I am finding myself limited by the theme.

A few things that are least liked about GoDaddy is that although it is a website builder, if you have a bit of a creative mindset for your website then you may find a lack of depth. The websites built on GoDaddy are also not as appealing compared to other website builders but it gets the job done.

I liked godaddys website template options. The templates make it easy to create a visually stunning website without any knowledge on web design. I also like how they offer more than just websites. You can get a business phone number, landing page,integrated pos system, ect and they usually have a deal where they will throw one or two of those extras in for a nice discounted price

There are a few things I don't like about godaddy. They limit your website design and creativity a bit too much. Once you get your site to a certain point it feels like you can't make it any better. Not because its perfect, but because their templates won't allow for any more growth. Also, I had 5 different products through godaddy. I canceled extras like the business phone, extra web address, and landing page, but I kept the main website and business email. After about 3 months I come to find that because I didn't renew all 5 of my products and only kept 2, they put a hold on my email address so I couldn't receive any emails and nobody told me this would be happening so I missed out of multiple business opportunities because emails weren't coming through eventhough I was paying godaddy for a business email account. They didn't seem to care all that much when I asked them for help either.

we tried to figure out how to build our own site from scratch as one of us was a coder, so we figured it would be easy, well, it in fact was not, so we shopped around and figured go daddy is well known enough to at least try. It did exactly what we needed it to do and at a good price, it was very intuitive and easy to figure out after some playing around with it.

It would be nice if they would add some more templates to the basic subscription, and a little more in the statistics aspect.
