Vorteile

There are a couple of things:
1. It does not reset with phone reboot
2. Allows me to keep apps running without the OS getting rid of it
3. You can unlock or lock devices remotely
4. You can track the device

Nachteile

A couple of issues are:
1. There is a lag in locking or unlocking remotely
2. There is no messaging when the dashboard is offline

Vorteile

Works as intended, would be nice to have a remote update feature. Keeps my agents out of apps they do not need to use, and is better than guided access in that you can have multiple apps in the home screen.

Nachteile

Can not auto-update apps or patch tablets from homescreen. There is a search for updates feature but it doesn't get the update, still have to do it from settings in the tablet.

It had all the features I needed off the bat, along with other features I wasn't looking for at the time, but ended up loving after seeing them. It's also priced extremely well, and is the only mdm I was able to find that allowed me to purchase a single license (i.e. 1 device).

The customer support is also fantastic, and extremely responsive! I've contacted them numerous times throughout the stages of setting up and deploying my kiosk, and every time my issue was addressed and resolved immediately.

I would definitely recommend MobiLock Pro to anybody looking for an MDM!

Nachteile

I honestly can't think of anything I don't like. Everything is so intuitive and easy to use... it really is a breath of fresh air compared to all the other MDMs I tested... and I tested A LOT of them.

Mostly I like thatIi can install my own app from my computer. Nice Dashboard and very good locations report.

Nachteile

I am Using the location report to find our sellers, Updating our selling application and Changing the devices mostly, Because our sellers are breaking the tablets very often, so we are changing the devices a lot.

1- One of the coolest programs I used was that no one was allowed access to my own stuff

4- It has strong and fast support

Ease of use, functionality. The dashboard it intuitive and easy to use. Simple setup. I covers all my needs as a sales tool in the field.

I would like to see the ability to manage and deploy to IOS devices as well. This will specially assist with the testing and deploy of new software and software changes that are designed and intended for a specific purpose and not for distribution

The biggest advantage of Mobilock Pro is the quick support. They care about software quality and solved all my issues quicly.

Nachteile

Sometimes the resources usage are not intuitives. But they have a huge patience explaining you how to use it.

Apps and device locations can be tracked. When there is a problem with our equipment, they are always fast to offer assistance and schedule a meeting to resolve the situation.

In kiosk mode, multi-monitors are not supported.

It is easy to use, all the functionality I need is there. It is possible to lock the screen, you can use keep screen on and it is possible to follow the tablet on maps.

The worst part had nothing to do with the software. It was difficult to purchase the license if you didn't want to use a credit card. But that was mostly our purchase departments fault.

I like the functionality and the level of customization that we can apply to our tablets out in the field. The technical support is very helpful. They are willing to call and remotely work with you from your computer when necessary. The dashboard is very thorough.

Nachteile

Depending on the time of day and the time difference sometimes (not always) it may take several minutes for a tech rep to reply to me when I start a new issue communication.

That the users are in a kiosk mode and you are not able to escape out of the kiosk mode. I've also tested other kiosk modes and escapes sometimes in 1 minute.

Nachteile

MobiLock Pro Browser. (Our Developer are developing on google chrome. for us it would be the best if you can whitelist for google chrome!)

->Features and functionality such as Remote Cast and ability to control the device from dashboard.
->Support Staff- everytime a problem arises the support team was very professional and responded very quickly. I think it is the one of the best Support Team in the software business.

Nachteile

-> There is no report of the device i.e device off time, activities on device, 24 hr report card in excel or any other format.
->In the Documentation, there is no mention of issues that occurs if we go by the documentation and do exactly how it is written and still come across some issue. In that case we have to contact the support staff.

Vorteile

It is (mostly) a very flexible product with a great feature set. The support team is fantastic and helps you find the more obscure settings.

Nachteile

Layout of the menus could be slightly easier to navigate. Once again - not a big problem with the help of the support team.

MobiLock has a many features that support SMEs, larger taxi companies with the controlling power of their devices. So, this will save time and money. Excellent JOB. Well done!

Great support, the support team always very helpful to answer questions to help. I love the Dashboard, Enterprise, upgrading our APK's, looking at all of our devices, keeps it all locked down 100%. Great company and people to deal with.

Not able to have a app that would allow photos to be taken and kept in the cloud, so that we could send it as a link.

Fast. Fulfills its purpose. The people in the administration are very fast and professional in his answers.

Sometimes the application flickers when you do a refresh. Sometimes the installed applications delays a bit to appear.

The interface is clean and relatively straightforward. Getting it deployed is relatively simple. Managing enterprise app deployment is very helpful. Customer support is very receptive to new features, and very fast to respond.

There are still some missing convenience features that make a few operations harder than they should be, but most are minor. Also, the software is constantly improving, so I expect these will appear in future updates.

The dashboard is really simply to use, and with easy account management and set up for devices, it's been a great product to use.

Our experience so far has been great. There are some features that aren't available for all tablets, but I am sure that they will be in time as development seems to be ongoing and any new features implemented quickly.

My Support person was very knowledgeable with his products and the device I was using. Very impressive! I was on the dashboard and via my device. This call was awesome; the customer representative was able to answer all all my questions. He also added a little training session all in one call.

No Cons for this product at the moment. LIVE chat was great, asked support to call. Call came in within minutes. While on the call I was still able to chat.

The ability to lock down the tablet and customize for our needs. We are able to view location data to see where the tablet is located. By giving many options to lock the tablet we are able to provide a better end user experience.

There have been a few times that the interface seemed slow or unresponsive but this only seems to happen if the tablet has not been restarted for a long period of time.

Simple to use software makes setup easy! I looked at a lot of different companies and they all had an important feature or two missing. Mobilock had everything at a fair price. Also the support from the second I visited the page has been great!

Nachteile

I cant see a problem with it. If i was going to make a suggestion it would to have some pre loaded backgrounds for the home and lock screen.

Easy to use. Gives Good control of devices. Location and geofencing feature is good. Timely online support.

Upload apk size is very limited. The dashboard could be more user-friendly. there should be an option of multiple selections in bulk enrollment feature to edit or delete entries in bulk. There should be sorting or search by device name option in bulk enrollment option.

Provides some neat management functionalities at a relatively low cost. Especially good for small businesses which can't afford enterprise management solutions. Great support!

Nachteile

Takes time to get used to it, and it isn't always self-explanatory.
No reboot functionality, as far as I can tell. Remote control of devices is limited to very few device manufacturers.

It is quite simple to use and you can keep track of all devices very well + provides a lot on info on the device. It would be great if in the future we could also turn the tablet on via mobilock

I do not like the lack of a function to turn on the tablet. It would also be great to have a function were you can see the location of devices all in one map.

It's very user intuitive, and efficiently built. We run a business where mobile security and kiosk mode capability is imperative to mission success. Mobilock Pro was that answer. We are very satisfied so far.

Its relieable. Its easy to setup. We wrote a manual so each store owner could install mobilock locally. Superb customer service and good pricing. We just used a small portion of the possibilities. Two apps of the customer should run i kioskmode with a menu before them.

Nachteile

It took some time to get our head around the setup of devices and groups of devices. Furthermore we would have liked a screensaver movie mode and the ability to have the devices beeing turned on always and not going to sleep mode after half an hour.

The admin console is super easy to manage. I've tried other kiosk software and they were unintuitive. MobiLock pro makes it easy to lock a device and mange our apps remotely. We can upload new .apk files and they automatically update on the device.

The support has also been excellent. They're responsive and make an effort to help me solve the problems.

Nachteile

No cons more of just a wish list: More reliable remote control access and remote pulling. Other than that, I've really enjoyed the software.
