It is very easy to use and manipulative.

The keyboard commands are too many and can overwhelm the user, thus you can do away a single task in so many ways.

Coming from being an AutoCAD user I like that I could work with all my old drawings and that my customers could open my drawings. The interface was pretty easy to get used to.

It crashes way too frequently. I haven't been able to figure out why. I haven't heard back from tech support.

At the same price I believe that Actcad has few competitors, it has a very short learning curve, it is a general cad with which you can draw everything .

The fact that it occasionally has bugs and that it does not have routines to insert doors and windows in the floor plans without having to go through 3d.
I think that even the snap can be improved with the implementation of commands to solve particular situations

Compatibility with dwg format. Similar commands, no need to learn again. Excellent support really fast and precise.

Nachteile

The only two things to improve are first how the program updates. That take a time and sometime erase variables previously set. An second the license management that is tricky.

AutoCAD very useful for engineering students. It is very easy way to drawing. AutoCAD 360 coupled makes creating floor plans an absolute breeze. And also i can view and measure with any dimensions.

In my opinion this app was already developed. But we can develop this app to so far. It will be more better if put PD mode in android version.

you have to have a prior knowledge to be able to use this tool, if you do not know how to use it the process to be able to design becomes very slow and tedious (trial and error)

Not much really. But, there are some commands that need attention. Like repeat , spline command. Some times a green dotted lines appears on the screen while using some command, and , to remove it, drawing needs to be closed, and, reopened.

Great in importing/exporting orthos, points, collaboration with addons, can replace other pricey products easily.

Different icons, different feel plus some problems in displaying huge orthos.

ActCAD Professional gives the use of many more advanced actions and tools for the price when compared to others.

Not all AutoCAD commands are transferred to ActCAD. There is not a step by step guide for the program. There is not a list with commands and shortcuts. The BIM plug in was less than basic (no automatisaion for door measures, I could not change the materials of walls etc).

Very easy to learn, Straight forward if you know major CAD brand. Simple and intuitive interface. Has all the features that I look in a CAD software. The support is excellent, the guys know the software and respond with a easy and clean instructions to help you. This is the only CAD that you need for work.

The only problem that I find was the alarm about Regen the drawing, but I inform the problem to the support team and the correct it with an update in just few weeks.

In the myriad of CAD Software with huge pricing, it is not affordable for all. But fortunately I got aware of this CAD and went for owning the License. Meets my work needs. Liked the product.

I was mostly using ActCAD while working from home during COVID 19. My company uses the brand name CAD software. I was able to use it at home, but with server issues, software updates and sometimes not being able to log into the software, I purchased ActCAD after trying other software. This was better than not being able to do my work.

This was not a big concern, but I could not get a .lsp to load properly.

We are electrical panel manufacturing small scale company. All electrical drawings are part of each project. In todays compitative market product and document quality need at best level. For design document CAD tool is must and ActCAD made it easy for us with licence version which is fitting in our budget. All dwg and dfx files, all feature of AutoCAD really satisfy our requirement of price and quality.

Till date network licence is not available but in near future that will be the part of bundle as per discussion with Indian marketing team. But this update will be available to us free of cost by ActCAD.

This software provides with every possible tool for 2D drafting and 3D modelling. With this software I am able to optimize my time and create quick sketches.

I am employed in a small business and ARC CAD does a good job in meeting our needs. The program has similar functionality to Auto CAD and can easily be transferred to other computers. Customer support is great and I love not be burdened by annual subscriptions.

I would like more control over default parameters including the file type to open on power up. And, most important, I would like to see a lower cost to upgrade from year to year.

I found that it is very slow in opening previous large AutoCAD 3D projects and recently it crashed in doing so. Also I had difficulty viewing drawings with conceptual views in paperspace viewports. It seemed awkward and not the same as I was used to.

Saving and changing blocks aren't the best and can be a hassle.

The display buttons are almost the same as Autocad or ZwCad and this makes it very easy to user to adapt to ActCad. The options available under draw are more. Format is easier. Most important is the built in PDF to DWG convertor which saves a lot of time.

This is my hobby -to draw up design and then to fabricate in my shed

Normally users are well trained with AutoCAD. ActCAD command line is similar to AutoCAD which is user friendly. No more additional training are required for ActCAD.
