Browserstack is a great tool that can accomplish its intended purpose quickly.
Vorteile
Browserstack can quickly enable testing web content on a variety of browsers and operating systems. The tool itself is browser-based so not having to install additional software is a huge benefit.
Nachteile
Using developer tools to troubleshoot content is possible but a somewhat difficult, sometimes sessions can be interrupted.

On the older ones, the resolution was not great and the mouse cursor moved choppily.

Expensive and not that reliable
Vorteile
LIke that you can cancel easily if you're not using it, and that it allows you to take screenshots as well as Live testing.
Nachteile
I've noticed a lot of tests that aren't actual though, so it's not completely reliable. And it's very expensive in my opinion, at least for a small company - and you have to pay Per User. Also the admin is a bit clunky, but functions. Also, the latest browsers are not always available. For instance, they only have up to iphone 6 available...

My overwall experience with BrowserStack was a good one. I tested what I needed with ease

What I liked the most about BrowserStack is that it allow you to test a website on many browsers really quickly, even mobile browsers. It saves a lot of time
Nachteile
What I liked the least about BrowserStack is pricing model. They are charging too much for what they are offering. I was disappointed when the trial ended and moved on to try another software that was cheaper or free.

Browserstack is alright
Vorteile
It's neat and lets you view your app on multiple devices. It uses actual devices which is insightful compared to the Dev Tools in the browser.
Nachteile
It is rather slow and unperformant. It does take a while to get it running, and there is a noticeable lag.

Good system, worth using.
Vorteile
For a large site, browser testing is crucial and this system cut down on a lot of the work we use to do manually.
Nachteile
There wasn't much I didn't like, but I would prefer to pay for just one month instead of recurring and having to cancel a membership.

Use browserstack for testing on several browsers, OS and devices
Avoid to buy real devices that are rapidely out of date
Vorteile
I use browserstack fo testing features on the web and mobile. As we have not enough devices it's really helpful and easy to simulate a device and check if the the developed feature works as expected (errors, bugs and behaviour).
Nachteile
The cost of using browserstack is very high so that we have only 5 accesses in my department.

In my opinion the monthly price is too big for an average user. If it could be decreased more users could enjoy it as well.
