I love how easy Rev is to use which is a key selling point for us because we use it a lot (often a few times a day), and we love the no fuss, intuitive interface. The quality of the transcripts is really good. The AI option is appreciated when we don't need 100% accuracy, but do want to save money. And it's all become a really integral part of our workflow.

Don't really have any cons about the software.

We did look at others that I'm forgetting the names of. #1 reason for choosing Zoom - the accuracy and quality of the transcripts. #2 A price we could fit in our budget. #3 the speed!! #4love the self-serve aspect - rather than working with a transcription company as we did previously.

We needed to make our podcast more accessible with the full text of the conversation being downloadable. Already having 70 episodes released, we needed some simple software to help with transcripts. Rev was simple, straightforward, understandable pricing.

Still a little expensive but worth it for us.

Rev is an accurate, fast, sleek transcription software. And if I'm not pleased with a transcriptionists work, I just make that known and that transcriptionist no longer gets jobs from our organization. Their caption services are also great and make captioning videos so easy as I can edit the captions in Rev, export the file, and upload it right into the video platform that I'm using.

Rev is really fast, we always get back our work same day. It is so easy to use and you can train it by rating the transcripts you get back. It has saved us so much time and we believe $. Will analyze at the end of the year. We have been very happy with this software.

This is a great tool for the content marketer. You can take audio in the form of podcasts or youtube videos and in minutes have a fully transcribed copy.

Nachteile

Our field has a lot of technical words that are not very common, it struggles with these, also with any brand-specific words. It would be nice if some AI component could be taught how to transcribe particular words. For example, you say a word 3 times and write what the word is. Then anytime it hears that word it can transcribe it -- it's tedious to correct the same words over and over again.

I like the layout and ease of use. I think the price is fair and the quality is great most of the time.

The one thing I would say is to make the search slightly more intuitive, I don't know what is wrong but it is sometimes impossible to find files that I know are in there. I think the quality is better sometimes than others, depending on the person who transcribes. I wish it would be slightly more consistent.

It was set up and tested in less than 10 minutes. The person that requested CC was satisfied with the results.

Nachteile

No problems at all. It was able to do what was needed to meet accessibility requirements for Zoom meetings and webinars.
