Elementor manages to be drag-n-drop enough for non-coders and first-time website builders to make sense of it. Start with a template, fiddle with some content and colors, and you could be good to go. Using the exact same Elementor set-up, an experienced WordPress developer can easily access just about any code or detail they want.

The other big win for Elementor is with related content. You can build individual blocks that are connected to external dynamic content sources, and/or dynamic related content from inside the site. With a couple of (mostly free) plug-ins, you can set up an entire automated front end with an easy-peasy back end for future non-tech user to essentially fill out a form, and the site will populate with fully-styled blocks accordingly.

It's as quick-and-simple or as custom-from-scratch as you want it to be. And the price is right. I would recommend starting with the free version of Elementor and just poking around. You can build the bulk of your site with the free version, and I'd bet you'd be willing to pay to upgrade.

Nachteile

When you do encounter something that isn't a quick accessible change, then Elementor can get complicated. Editing source code with that much dynamic and relational content can be tricky. But this is a downside that's present in all WP website builders, so I can't hold it against them.

You can do a lot with it and there is a lot of add ons for it which is nice.

Overall a good solid first website builder to use if you are new and don’t know code and want a drag and drop convenient and easy enough to use system I feel.

I feel maybe my main gripe is the pricing structure I believe it’s like $50 a year and that’s for I wanna say only like 1 website.

Which if you look at the competition like specifically divi its like $89 a year or $250 for a lifetime and unlimited websites and so overall divi is by far a better deal I feel especially if you are a web development agency or so.

Other then that I am sure there is others but off the top of head. I guess I just don’t have anything right now.

Elementor is a WordPress page Builder. By far, it is the best WordPress page Builder I've used.

Among the reasons for which I prefer it to other page builders include:

1. Ease of Use: I had tried other WordPress page builders, but Elementor remain the easiest I've used so far. After installing the plugin, there is a two minute explainer video that explains everything one need to know to get started.

2. Cost effectiveness: Though Elementor comes as a freemium software, the free version had been serving me, and I've seen no pressing need to upgrade to the premium version. Unlike many other softwares whose free version are nothing to write home about, Elementor's free version had been amazing.

3. Ability to save a design as a template: Elementor allows me to save any design as a template so that I only need to import and edit it whenever I need to use it again. This saves me the stress and time of having to start all over again.

4. Availability of free pre-made templates: Elementor comes with free templates that can just be imported and edited. This makes it very easy to build a page. The templates can be edited to suit a purpose, after which it can then be saved as a new template for future purposes. This is an amazing feature.

5. Availability of sections: Pages built with Elementor are divided into sections. This makes it easy to design the sections as desired, thereby making the page to be easily editable.

Nachteile

Elementor is an amazing software. The only thing I don't like about it is that if one desires to go premium, the one will have licence to use it only on one website. If there is the need to use Elementor on another job, one will need to purchase premium right again. This is a turnoff while considering that some other softwares gives one access to use one premium software on more than one websites.

Apart from this problem, Elementor is amazing.

When building a website with wordpress, Elementor is the go-to plugin that I use because it offers extremely simple drag and drop functionality that even a client who is not tech-savy can later use to modify web pages. Making a website responsive is super easy with three device sizes for desktop, tablet and mobile. It also offers a lot of templates both free and paid that look great for websites.

Nachteile

It would be nice to have more flexibility with editing blocks and options to go deep into customisation. It is also a bit slow sometimes and would do great if it offered more SEO tools and integration with other services.

Elementor is a great WYSIWYG plugin for building Wordpress sites quickly and easily. You can literally drag and drop your content in a page easily and manipulate it within a certain set of parameters. It's great for first time users who might work best visually and not understand how some themes work in Wordpress. It's straight forward and not complicated to use.

Nachteile

I was recommended Elementor for ease of use and being a lightweight builder. It was slow. Painfully slow and broke more times than I care to remember. After much manipulation of my site, I managed to get the plugin to function properly enough for the end client to do what they wanted or needed. I can see this being a problem for someone just jumping into building a website that might not know how to manipulate certain core files in WordPress and they might take a chance at crashing their whole site. As far as the visual drag and drop aspect of it, perfect. For an administrative implementation its a pain and caused more problems than it was worth for me.

Vorteile

I use the pro version of Elementor and it's worth every cent that I spent on it. It's the best currently on the market when it comes to Woocommerce integration as it enbles me to build a custom website for my business. I like the fact that it comes with a theme builder meaning you don't need to get extra plugins to customize your entire website and the forms module is also one feature that I love about the page builder.

Nachteile

I think most people who use the plugin would agree with me on this one that the Elementor team needs to work on trying to publish a version of the software that is stable when a new version becomes available as we've seen with the v3 which they have just released, apart from that the page builder is awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing what other features they'll introduce in future.

I used Elementor along with WordPress. It's easy to install (just in a few minutes!), It's modular and it has the beloved drag and drop feature. You can use it (almost) for everything, and it's a great option to make a website for a client, they will learn really fast to manage their own website. One of the best things about it: you have more than 90 content elements/modules to use, and +150 templates to choose. It's your best wysiwyg pal!

Nachteile

The optimization speed, websites can load pretty slowly with it. Most features are on pro version. Not really too much to say, it's really good besides that.

How you have access to so many fantastic features for free, it's amazing how much you can do within Elementor and how beautiful sites made from it can be. I used it to construct my agency website and found it very easy to navigate through. It's a very simple website builder that can save you a great amount of money compared to other tools.

What I liked least was how necessary features for building a site, like inserting a form and things similar to that, are locked behind Elementor Pro, In the end, I was able to substitute another program to help with this but it would be better to have some features necessary for creating a site on the free version instead.

Elementor is easy to explore and is very progressive and creates the pages according to the requirements of the developer. The best part is no coding is required. It really helped me a lot for building the pages of my website since I have a very little knowledge of coding and just started from the scratch.

As with any similar tool, Elementor cuts back on hardcore customization. By offering a lot of templating and graphical interface features, the target market is more of the middle tier to advanced users, rather than the top experts. Also the learning curve is a bit steep and if you have no idea where to start with web design, you probably should try something simpler first.

Create flexibility, almost no learning curve needed, absolutely professional and stunning results, even with the free version. The ability to save your templates as also the template library is more than amazing. Totally recommended.

It is page oriented, it doesn't give a solution for the blog posts. There are some add ons that allows you to design a page to embed the post list, but they usually luck of a beautiful design and when you click on the post it transfers you to the wordpress normal theme.

I’m fond of Elementor — it helped me overcome my fear of tackling website design, maintenance, updating…anything that had to do with the backend of sites. I couldn’t believe how easy creating or updating pages can be when you use this page builder. You just point to the element on the screen that you want to customise and the corresponding menu pops up. I love love the concept of breaking down the page workspace into containers and sections and columns - it’s like playing with lego.

It’s not really a con - just can’t wait long enough for Elementor to allow for the creation of Headers and Footers so that my headers aren’t restricted to the theme of my choosing.
