I needed a fast and easy way to create a landing page for my future product's waitlist. LeadPages has tons of functionality OOTB which made it easy to customize and to get up and running.

Nachteile

Despite what I just said about being OOTB, there is enough functionality that isn't customizable that makes me question the price of this service. I'm paying $37/month for a glorified website, at least, that's how I feel.

It takes awhile to get used to the compositional layout of columns, spacers, padding etc and sometimes hard to move things around to where you want them to go and look on multiple devices

I like MailChimp but I'm not a huge fan of its form builder and this is where LeadPages comes in handy. You can customise the form to reflect your brand; it comes loaded with a multitude of templates and advanced features, and it integrates well with MailChimp. Besides, LeadPages makes it so easy to set up a landing page, you can literally do it in minutes, so you can check the performance of various designs in real time.

Nachteile

It's a really good staple product in the marketing toolbox. The lower pricing tier didn't have split testing and the price difference to the next tier that included it was somewhat steep for our budget at that time.

Creates very clean, professional-looking landing pages without much work on the user's end. Even without website or coding experience, one can very quickly put together an impressive looking landing page. The additional features they have are clutch, too. Pop-up lead capture tools and integrations with email-list services are essential, and they've got all the major ones.

Nachteile

There were some moments when I just couldn't get things to work. This happened when trying to add a lead box to a lead page. I consider myself adept at technology, I may not know the inner workings, but I can easily learn and manipulate software but there were times where I could not, for the life of me, get the software to do what I wanted it to. In the end, I got it to work, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

I love how easy it is to create a converting landing page, based off their research and design teams expertise. I can integrate my email service and easily create FB ads to lead to the page. So easy to create a successful business with LeadPages!

I'm still figuring out how all of the analytics work, so that's a little confusing. But I'm sure they have a training on it, also.

I thought the pages looked great and are easy for our customers to download the product guides. The Leadpages support team is also excellent. The representatives always got back to me in a timely manner so I could fix any issues quickly.

Leadpages aims to be a middle-ground between Instapage and Unbounce, providing two different editors with different complexities and a much more affordable price than either option can provide. Additionally, leadpages allows you to create popups easily for whatever purpose you need.

Leadpages has a limited template library and its customization isn't as deep, slick, or easy to use as either Instapage or Unbounce. Additionally, there have been reports of the autosave not working well so it might not be a good idea to use Leadpages if you tend to rely on it.

It's an easy way to build landing pages that look nice and perform well. The design is clean and professional and it only takes a few minutes to set them up. Since my strength isn't in web development, it's nice to be able to focus on the look of the page and just drag and drop assets where I want them.

Nachteile

The design options can be limited, which leads to a lot of landing pages looking and functioning in the same way, which isn't necessarily a problem since they have a basic job to do, but I'd like more freedom and variety. Also, sometimes the pages have a weird amount of lag when loading.

I love that LeadPages is so quick and easy to use. I often need a quick landing page and have used their templates many times. I've also created full sales pages using their software that are professional and clean.

I just wish there were a few more advanced features/widgets, but for the most part my needs have been met.

Leadpages is great for exactly what it says -- leadpages. It creates beautiful landing pages with very little effort. It's also much cheaper than clickfunnels

Unfortunately, leadpages also does a lot less than clickfunnels. So if all you want to do is create a few landing pages, leadpages will do the trick. But you're limited by site (clickfunnels lets you create unlimited sites), and you're limited in functionality. Want a membership site? You're out of luck.
