Simple to use. Easy to go from starting the software to editing a label without unnecessary steps in between. I like the ability to duplicated saved labels which allows quickly modeling new label formats the same as previous labels.

I honestly haven't run into any issues that have caused me any problems.

The simplicity of creating signage and labels that can be produced and changed via a table or spreadsheet makes it a breeze compared to multiple MS Publisher documents I used to use. I don't think it's designed to make full page or large label publication but it does just that for me.

I wish there was a few more features, such as a simpler way to remove digits and decimal point leaving a suffix (p/¢) however [sensitive content hidden] has kindly given me a script to allow this following my business's design style. Other than some quality of life designing features required I have no complaints about this app!

Intuitive Interface, Easier to work with compared to other label generator. Lastly, Dynamic Image is a game changer, you can now add images to your label and use an excel file to upload those images. Without the need to manually add images.

Nothing. Only a tiny little bit of adjustment with the barcode resizing interface.

When I need new software, it's usually because I've run up against a problem I need to solve. I'd been using DYMO software to print labels and was having issues with their software and drivers, so I went looking for something better. That's when I found Label LIVE.

My biggest expection when looking for a label printer is something that is easy to use and I think I've found what I wanted.

I did have a couple of questions and support was very quick to respond which I feel is as important as the software itself.

I tried many. I hoped that one of the softwares that came from the makers of my label printers would work for my needs. Their basic features and functions didn't even work properly. This software is really what up to date, current/modern software for label printing should be like. It does everything I need, I can't imagine what else you would want.

After being tasked with replacing our outdated label maker software I came across Label LIVE several times and they offer a free trial so no risk. I tried it for 13 days and loved it, then paid the one-time fee. It is SO easy to use, anyone can sit down and understand the software. It has all the functions we need to create barcode labels, rack labels, box labels and so much more. I love the importing function is has for importing our excel files; I can just click and print all styles with their UPCs on the entire spreadsheet.

I really appreciated that when I had questions I could shoot an email over to the company and receive an almost immediate reply which was really helpful if I ran into any issues or needed a work around. Once I did get a reply it was straight to the point and straight to a solution. This is a HUGE plus for our company as we strive to provide the same level of service to our own customers.

Nachteile

I saw one area of improvement which is the print function, when you print 20 labels or any qty over 1 it prints each label one by one, instead of consecutively. Now this could be user-error like I need to find some setting to get it to print consecutively or its my label printers, not sure just yet.

Label live's sleek user interface and well thought out features makes creating beautiful custom labels very easy and straightforward. By far the best reason for our purchase was the feature that allows you to upload a spreadsheet and customize variables on the label - so instead of hundreds of label files for our products, we only need one label file and one spreadsheet to indicate the product name, number and barcode. Now all our labels look great and we have a new consistency across our labels.

I wish there were more self-help resources online other than the YouTube videos and the FAQ on the label live website.

Software is very easy to use and gives you options to adjust multiple facets of each label. Also a big bonus of being able to save sheets of labels - printing 120 at a time is typical in our office.

Nachteile

Having to save the labels on our computer hard-drive versus the label software itself, takes a bit of time in terms of opening a saved label sheet to print. But if that's the biggest complaint (which isn't a huge deal anyway), that's great!

The user interface for designing a label is intuitive and works extremely well. The integration, while technical, is a live-saver. We were able to integrate Label.live into our exciting custom software. We use thermal, roll label printers and the built-in drivers enabled us to print an exact quantity without user input.

I had one problem, but emailed the developer and I received an updated (beta) version of the software in less than 24 hrs.

It was very easy to set up and use, importing from a spreadsheet was a breeze, and the customization and UI for creating labels is very clear and easy to use. The ability to print off so many variables and use data so effectively is a massive boon. Customer support has been amazing in helping me figure things out, including getting a feature implemented that i suggested, and sending me a beta copy to test with.

Nachteile

There are niche instances of features that i would like to see, but am generally not upset about having as i can bake them in to my excel sheets.

Label Live was a godsend when I found it. It's so simple to use and does the job I need it to do. So much better than the clunky MS based software which is overcomplicated and unuser-friendly.

has been so fast and helpful with any tweaks I needed to do. I love that it handles my barcodes and general labelling needs for any kind of label I need from big to small.

I would love to see pre populated Uline labels added to the system such as the Avery labels. Most of us using warehouse order from Uline so it would be handy.

After getting a ONE day notice that SMEAD was discontinuing their ridiculously expensive labelling system we were left scrambling for a replacement. I thought they would just remove their restrictive environment and place their non-supported software in the public domain and allow us to continue to use it but that was not the case. I needed to find a replacement QUICK. Luckily I found Label Live. I love the trial allowed for full use without worrying about watermarks etc. Once I designed the replacement labels we needed, we could start to use software immediately. The support staff was quickly trained and we purchased the full version. So far so good!

Nachteile

We are a school system and wished we could have used a purchase order. Just makes things cleaner for the auditors. Disclaimer: they do allow purchase orders for 5 or more licenses.

Ease of use, actual customer support response from a real person, and the ability to import my data and link it to my design in minutes.

It's so easy to install and use LabelLive. The software is straightforward, intuitive, and easy to learn and use with a variety of different label formats and sizes. In comparison with other label software products available on the market, it's far better! It formats and prints different size labels on a variety of common label printers without a lot of drama; it offers none of the print driver technical issues that confound other label printer software; and it's quite simple to design, compose, and print an infinite variety of different label sizes and formats. In addition, customer support for the product is outstanding. If you encounter a problem, or have difficulty in using the software, simply contact the developers and they'll respond with a workable solution within a day or two.

Since I'm a relatively new user, I haven't yet encountered anything that I don't like about the product. When I did notice a few things about LabelLive that I wanted to see added and/or changed within the program, the developers were very responsive to my suggestions and implemented changes to the program within a day or two.

Installing the license needs to be done for EVERY user of that computer. That's a little frustrating as it's on a computer that is used by multiple people. Which means the first time it's used for a new logon the person has to install the license. It would be nice to have a machine wide license instead of installing per person that logs on.

Label LIVE is intuitive and easy to use even for the most complicated shipping label requirements devised by our customers. It fits in well with our work flow and notably is compatible with the newer M1 Macintosh computers and has a built in driver for our thermal printer - something that is otherwise difficult to find. Customer support is outstanding: When we found the product missing an element critical to our workflow, the Label LIVE people were able to add it in for us in just a couple of days.

Previewing and editing individual labels created from a batch import could be improved.

I didn't buy the printer from Label live, and we use our current Dymo printer. It takes us some time to figure out the best option for a sharp printing result.

When researching for professional label software, as a small company we were quite surprised that the two large contenders in the label arena were very expensive and involved yearly fees, maintenance contracts etc etc etc, which amounted to VERY EXPENSIVE! for a newly established small business.
When I came across LABEL LIVE, I was sceptical at first as the price for the pro version was very reasonable and did not involve complicated maintenance contracts and yearly subscriptions.
I initially paid for the home version to see how the label software would suit our EPSON C300 label printer and DTM FOIL printer and it performed all the functions needed to create great looking professional labels. I upgraded to the PRO version a few days after!

Nachteile

The only small gripe and really it is small is the transferring of the licence if you need to reinstall windows on your existing computer, however not a big issue.

This software is super easy to use. I love the simple interface. It is very easy to print labels, barcodes, write text and format text. I had a few questions and the customer service is super fast to respond and responds within a few hours.

I really like the simplicity and that you easily can import xls files and work with several products at once but only with one label template that you create really easily with this software.
I Also appreciate the effort and availability that Caylan gives me as a user. I had some requests about changes that would make my labels exactly as I want them and within 24 hours Caylan had made those changes so that I could have it exactly as I wanted. Thats a support I didn't expected at all!

Super simple clean and obvious functional design with no unnecessary clunky features like many other label solutions have. Integrates really well with excel sheets for printing vast arrays of data, including data variables for how many print quantities.

Only issue I've found is that with large excel sheets it can be a bit slow to update data, and there is not a clear indication of when this is completed. The app shows when the file was last "updated" but this seems to just be when it noticed a change not when it's finished updating all changes.

I was just about pulling my hair out to get "tiny" SKU barcodes printed onto our products using the innate dymo software. I scoured the internet and found Label Live. It SERIOUSLY has saved myself and my staff hours of time in setting up barcodes. I couldn't have done any of it without Label Live.

It's pretty easy to use. I used access back in the day and use Excel a lot so it may be more intuitive to me but I love how clean the interface is. It's straight to the point but easy enough to use I didn't need to read the FAQ to get started.

The software is lightweight and not bloaty.
