Good publishing marketing material
Vorteile
- I was looking for something like this for a long time and it turns out to be a very useful application. I use it mostly for my personal gigs. It is very easy to use and intuitive.

I like how easy and straight-forward it is to use, the templates make it very easy to start a project
Nachteile
Finding some of the hidden functions in the expanded areas on the right hand side - they aren't spelled out so I usually end up Googling how to do it then find it.

Overall, I think it's easy to use and user friendly.
Vorteile
I like the ability to change the font and colors and being able to upload pictures with ease. I would like to be able to upload pics to the calendar.
Nachteile
I am not a fan that if you accidentally click on something it moves the box out of alligment. It's frustrating if you are trying to work on something and accidentally click on something. Also when I upload pictures, some always come out fuzzy when they are printed.

Lucidpress has made it easy to create flyers, brochures, and other promotional or marketing tools. Especially if we need them with a short turnaround time.
Vorteile
I like that Lucidpress allows me to make my own brochures, flyers, newsletters, and business cards for my business. It also lets me create posters, magazines and presentations.
Nachteile
Nothing really. I haven't yet experienced any problems with Lucidpress, or anything else that I disliked about it.

Used to create banners and infographics in a high school.
Vorteile
The educator account is free of charge and allows me to create most of the documents I wish to with relative ease. I can upload my own images and clip art to insert into my creations.
Nachteile
In order to print to my own printer I need to download a PDF. That means if there is a mistake in my work or something doesn't print the way I think it will I need to go back online, make the changes and download again which become tedious and time consuming.

Lucidpress
Great. I look forward to creating more white papers as a result, and I will see what other items I can create.
Vorteile
I liked the ease of use. I had to turnover a white paper in a matter of a day, and while I wanted to use InDesign, I couldn't find a template that would work. I was under a time crunch as well. LucidPress offered an option that I could use and it offered it with ease of use. I could quickly design items and paste my text and present the document on time and well formatted.
Nachteile
I wish they had more templates associated with B2B marketing. I think that would be helpful to an entrepreneur and an organization.

Great tool for small business!
I've used Lucidpress to design great looking business cards for my business and get them printed. The first batch had some sloppy cuts and weren't aligned well, but they quickly reprinted and got it right when I brought it to their attention.

Quick and easy way to design business cards and marketing materials for my business!
Nachteile
It's a little bit difficult to do some layout functions. Would be nice if there were more symmetry/measurement tools.

Pretty Nifty Software for the Real Estate expert and marketer
I use it to create quick Real Estate flyers for printing.
Vorteile
I like the integrated feature to make flyers and produce in .pdf format.
It's nice to have a simple to use, built in feature for creating nice flyers to print out and leave at homes. I also like the ability to upload my own images or use the Bing search.
Nachteile
I wish the images could be seen along side the workspace. You have to know to 'import' on the image and then it goes to your workspace to position and size. This isn't a biggie once you get the hang of it.

Lucid Press has made it much easier to share approved design across my large enterprise.
Professionally, it has allowed me to maintain control of a brand that is developing exponentially. Personally, it has made my work life much easier.

The interface is so intuitive that my least-adept team members can use it, but robust enough that more advanced users don't feel limited or frustrated.

They are still developing their portfolio of products available to order for printing, which could be broader.

The absolute best I've ever used.
It's been a time saver and helps me put together a beautiful publication.
Vorteile
I love the ability to lay out graphics and videos anywhere I need them to be. Lucid also allows me to tweak my articles with ease.
Nachteile
Sometimes as I'm trying to position a graphic, it misbehaves and puts the graphic elsewhere. Usually I've been working for a couple of hours when this happens and I have to reboot Lucid. It then acts as it should.

LucidPress is an amazing software that allows for my team to stay organized and connected while we're creating social media banners as well as other online graphics. The best part about Lucidpress is that you can have your business cards and other printable graphics printed by them which makes it easy to be successful.

It has been good.

I have been able to make great brochures for our organization. I love being able to share the draft with others and being able to download to print it myself.

AMAZING EDITING CAPABILITIES
I currently use Lucidpress for creating and editing our company newsletter. I also make a monthly "right of the month" flyer. I am looking forward to finding out what other creations I can make.

The software is extremely easy to use for editing together our company newsletter. Software auto saves projects and allows you to go back in time to an earlier version of your project for comparison. Easy can access the software from ANY computer, so whether I am at my work desk or my home desk all documents are available for view and processing.
Nachteile
Picture editing can get a little tricky. When trying to copy an uploaded photo to the desired size, it is hard to figure out how to get back to the document to continue editing.

Great for Personal Projects, but free-version is limited
Overall, I really like Lucidpress and would recommend it for beginners in publishing, or for people needing a quick and easy page layout program.
Vorteile
Lucidpress is very user-friendly! It is intuitive, and is easy to pick up for someone with limited experience in using page layout/publishing programs beyond MS PowerPoint. The free version is adequate for my needs, and I really like the various downloading options.
Nachteile
The free-version can be very limited! Even for "basic" functions like saving a font or doing more advanced formatting. I am able to do what I need to with just the free version (making pamphlets and calendar handouts for my office), but I would recommend purchasing a version for more advanced work.

I am very pleased with this software. For a novice, I feel like I was able to quickly produce a newsletter, and as I use it, I get better and better.

For someone who doesn't know much about designing documents, Lucidpress is very easy to use to make my documents look presentable. I also like how I can download it in different file types depending on what it's going to be used for.
Nachteile
Not all fonts can be used in bold, italics, and underline, which limits my design capabilities.

Great range and number of template types formats to choose from, easy to make aesthetic documents for personal and professional use. I use it mostly for school newsletters.
Nachteile
You need to zoom in a lot to see/edit text in newsletters, and adding photos without a box is tricky: sometimes the photos become the background instead of a small image when I drag it to the wrong place.

This product is EXACTLY what our team needed to create new marketing materials collaboratively.
A superb desktop publishing application that can be used on any computer including IPads and Chromebooks and can be shared with anyone in the world.
Vorteile
The collaborative nature of the system is crucial to our success. We maintain a nationwide team in marketing and development. Having a robust design system was critical to success. Lucidpress gives us the ability to create and share new marketing materials, documents, and ideas without shipping around files or worrying about losing data.
Nachteile
I might improve on the training with respect to how to use layers. That was a bit of a learning curve for our people. Otherwise, the system is fine!

Vorteile
LucidPress is so intuitive to use. I used to use Microsoft Publisher and Lucid Press is much easier. There are many different templates to choose from, and it's also very easy to export as a PDF, or share directly to a group of recipients right from Lucid Press.
Nachteile
The only thing I dislike about Lucid Press is that it runs much faster in Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer is my preferred browser.

Our studio had a poorly done pamphlet that was outsourced before I found Lucidpress, now we have a beautiful catalog that showcases our memorials and speaks from our heart, and in our own language.

I like that as someone with zero knowledge of marketing or graphic design I was able to create a cohesive and beautiful catalog of our memorial glass product.
Nachteile
there was a bit of a learning curve, and printing is not available in Canada.

Lucidpress is easy to use and makes books/flyers/pamphlets that look amazing. I love the professional look and polish that I get from this program.
Nachteile
Sometimes it is difficult to move/toggle on a specific item (eg- picture, line, etc). And I wish the picture sizing allowed for stretching wide or long.

Vorteile
I like the ease of use, ability to copy full documents, accessible through Google Drive, and image bing search function.
Nachteile
When opening up documents, it takes a while to load. Same lagginess when inserting images, etc.
