I will try to answer the questions that you had.
1) Like in all SaaS services bugs sometimes occur and we are sorry that this has happened with you. Usually they are fixed within one working day. However, if this problem still persists, feel free to contact us at anytime with this issue.
2) For team communication we feel Ganttic is best utilized when it is shown during team planning meetings. In addition, team collaboration in the Ganttic sense means that everybody can see the planner in their predefined settings - thus, you can be up to date what your team members and department is doing.
3) For file attachmend for a resource we would recommend to create a new resource custom data field that is "Link" type. And with this you can attach all the information you need via link to a resource profile.

Great resource management tool!
Finally able to know quickly who is available in 5 weeks for example. Having to manage 28 development resources, I have no clue how we were doing this before without Ganttic!

The refresh rate is clumsy sometimes.

Ganttic proved to be the better alternative than all these old-school Excelsheets for resource...
Visibility about resource situation across teams.
Vorteile
Easy to set up and very straight forward licensing. It helped to gain multi-user editing and visibility across the different teams.
Nachteile
Quite hard to learn initially, making it hard for new users without proper introduction. The requirement to drag'n'drop to create a new entry is counter-intuitive, especially as click and right-click do not trigger any action.

Ganttic - 100+Employees
I have not vetted out Ganttic for its full capabilities, however with the current package, we do struggle with overall utilization being displayed in reports. We have created a custom field to manually update for weekly meetings. It would be ideal to have the report builder offer this field.
Vorteile
The views are highly modifiable for ease of management. Love it!
Nachteile
Views can become very busy, however simple reports do help with presentation. Would like to dashboard capabilities by project, overall utilization, start/end dates, # of team members.

Essential Tool
Ganttic is a great product. It is easy to use and due to its visual interface, there is no steep learning curve for users.
It is effortless to integrate with Google platforms and the scheduled reporting means data can be picked up by other tools.
We really like the continuous release method which allows new features to be added quickly.
The support response is superb.
The product is ideal for global teams with updates being seen across the tool in real time.
Vorteile
Easy to use, visual interface, scheduled reporting.
Nachteile
The lack of API's mean full integration isn't possible yet.

Great first impressions, still some functional areas to be improved, but a helpful tool.
Unified view of our resource contention, across multiple programmes of work.
Vorteile
Easy to use, intuitive to navigate. Great that it's cloud based, making it easy to collaborate and zero setup time. Ability to add custom fields is really helpful.
Nachteile
Some views don't allow reallocation of resources. Can't lock a date range when flicking between different views (they all start with a different range)

Thank you for the feedback. I will just try to answer the questions you had.
1) You can always lock a view date from the view settings. However, you need to hit "Apply" and "Save" before the view is saved.
2) You can reallocate resources in all the views. However, what might have happened is that you maybe had some filter on that did not allow you to see the whole resource list?

Ok resource planning tool
Vorteile
This is a good tool if your organization is very GANT-heavy, but as agile methodology teaches, gant charts are often inaccurate, which is something that has been proven in practice in my organization.
Nachteile
Very specific to a specific sort of development style. I sometimes prefer other tools like lucidcharts in order to create gant-style workflows.

allocation of resources has always been a thorn in the fresh for most project managers. this at times leads to wastage of staff time, pilferage of materials end so on, but with a plan by ganttic, you can only bring necessary resources to site when required.
Vorteile
it gives you a bird's eyeview of your project. its ability in as far as resource allocation makes project management looks easy as tasks and resources are well planned and execution jus follows the cleared path.
Nachteile
may lead to reluctance in management of the project as project manager may be satisfied by the plan and gives false comfort which eventually leads to project failure (comfort zone)

Ganttic is the answer to a large install team scheduling and planning
This software's benefit to us is allows us to forecast upcoming installation project and see when we need to hire contractors and/or additional resources.
Vorteile
It's been a really great tool for scheduling our teams. We can push the calendar to them as well there is an app. The last tool we had was only computer accessible not helpful to the guys in the field. We have really made use of this tool in our planning out when we can fit jobs into our ever changing schedule. It's feature filled and very flexible.
Nachteile
The biggest con was that you could change the schedule from you calendar feed for each person. There are few people this is fine but most of our integrators really should only be able view it not edit it.

Very simple to use, good value for money
Giving everybody with access the visibility of what tasks each member of staff had in the development team has been hugely positive.
Vorteile
Visual representation of workload makes it easy to manage and capture information at a glance. Timelines change often and it is also very easy to move tasks from person to person, and to different dates
Nachteile
A couple of features, namely managing dependencies between tasks work but feels a little clunky and difficult to use.

Great tool that have helped us with our efficiency
The tool has completely changed our business and made us more profitable. I just miss three things: 1. follow-up on archived projects (without the first need to dear chive them). 2. The Bigger field for describing a project (maybe attach pictures) 3. Generate project number.

Great resource tool with flexibility to make it what you need it to be.
Vorteile
There's a lot of room for customization in this software - so you can create what you need to to suite your needs. Dependencies are an added feature.
Nachteile
Task colours seem to change pending what calendar view you're looking at.
The filtering at the top can be confusing.
Wish there were templates/samples one could view and assess best approach to take in Ganttic. Leaves so much to the person using it - that examples would help.

This tool is easy to use and setup. My team members that manage resources like the ease of use.
Vorteile
It allows quick entry of time against task and you can also put in % of time. Most applications want exact hours. This tool is great for medium to small size organizations. Its very flexible and doesn't require a lot of up front set up.
Nachteile
Exporting of reports. It should export the fields across, one row for each record so that its easy to analyze the data in Excel.

Great Resource Management Tool
Initially, Ganttic was heavily geared towards project resource mapping, but as it has developed, it's morphed into a solution capable of catering to general resource management - now they just need to get calendar integration and they'll be the perfect solution!

Excellent support when needed
Every time that support has been needed it has been given precise and in good time.
The only thing that could be useful is a rollback function, preferable to cancel all that have been done the last login.

Easy to use and fit for purpose
It filled the space previously attempting to be filled by hundreds of excel Gantt charts that could not easily be compared on a large scale.
Vorteile
The software doesn't require me to give proper training to my users because they seem to find it very user friendly. I also have found the customer service brilliant, Ganttic offer one to one video conferencing to go through any questions or just offer general training.
Nachteile
It can be a little slow but that is to be expected with an online tool. I also like that it is an online tool as it is easier to get people to use it if they don't have to go through the process of requesting new software and giving a business case.

Easy to Use with Rich Functionality
Very easy to get up and running quickly. Adaptable to your business use for resource management. For the money required, it is a bargain.

Ease of getting online.
Nachteile
With any web app in this price range, there are glitches on screen but with re-loads of software, seemingly OK. Additionally, the enhancements don't always fit what we were looking for, but you have to adapt and change.

Surprisingly great!
I was reluctant initially to go Digital, but have found it a great tool for scheduling and for the sharing of information.

Usability. Sharing of information. Info is mobile on the laptop.

Ganttic is the perfect software to allow me to track our travelling staff. Love it!
Makes my job easier.

Easy to use, very flexible, easy to sort my data. My job would be much harder and more time consuming with out Ganttic.

I think there is room for improvement on the report side. I wish I had formatting control and sometimes the filters don't quite give me what I want.

In Ganttic you can add attachments to a task. However, for this you need to create a link type of field. In this link you can for example add and attachment that's on the web (e.g. in Google Drive). It is a bit of a workaround but maybe it helps.

Allows both a per resource view, a per project view and just about any way you need to slice it.

Vorteile
Actually it is an excellent application, only that it did not adapt to our needs. In my opinion it is designed for numerous teams with more extensive processes.
Nachteile
At the time I used the application I could not find a lack of functions, but on the contrary, it turned out to be more than what I really needed for our small team. That is the reason why I stopped using it.

Good software to streamline the planning process
Vorteile
Like the drag and drop planning. I like the highly customizable forms and reports. Software is relatively easy to use and is not too bloated, allowing it to do what it does best, Resource Planning. I I also like the sharing options and allowing multiple users to have access to the software and no hard pay wall to do so.
Nachteile
There is no UNDO feature. Also do not like that there is no option to remove WEEKENDS from the scheduling. I constantly have projects run into weekends when we are trying plan out resources. Which requires you to manually go into the task and move to the next weekday.

The two way syncing with Microsoft outlook doesn't work as well as I'd hoped for and a feature we had to turn off in the end

Ganttic - Review
Vorteile
The built-in updates and notifications function means it's very easy to keep on top of project management, and you don't have to be constantly juggling everything in your head at once.
Nachteile
It's a glamorous spreadsheet GANNT chart, although it's great, it hasn't revolutionized project management and you can ultimately cope with it.

Ganttic helps me keeping a bird's eye view on my projects and resources.
Vorteile
* very fast start - I was doing what I wanted to do with Ganttic within a single minute
* great feature selection - just the right amount of what is useful
* great customer support - I got my (few) questions answered in a live chat
Nachteile
* the only main feature I miss is a better treatment of project priorities. You have a list of all projects up within five minutes. You can also add your priorities as a custom field. But it is not possible to sort by priority.

Thank you for the feedback that you provided. We are happy to tell you that we believe that the main feature that you are looking for still exists in Ganttic :)
To sort by priority, then you are in the right track that you need to create project custom data field named "Priority". Then you can add priority statuses. However, to sort your priorities out, you need to group by projects. And after that you can just use our filtering function.
Would be happy to go everything through if needed.

Vorteile
I like that fact that it is web-based, easy to use, accommodates customized data and can provide access to all individual resources to update their own schedules. The support team is also very responsive.
Nachteile
Reports can also have the option for graphs etc. so we can look at group or individual stats at a glance. Currently we can extract the data and have to create pivots or charts on excel.

Easy to use interface, easy to read layout. Was able to get off the ground running with no...
Able to schedule resources easily and effectively.
Vorteile
Really like how easy it is to see the calendar layout and change what I'm looking at - weeks to months, etc.
Nachteile
Setting timing on tasks can get confusing, times get overwritten depending on your order of clicks. For example if want a task to only take up part of a day, I want the task to show over the course of the full day, but the duration of the task may only be 4 hours. To get these settings to 'stick' sometimes takes a couple tries.

Thank you for the feedback. I can imagine that the task settings might take time to get used with in the beginning.
However, what could make it easier is when you define from the settings your default timing preferences. Then you do not need to change them every time.

Perfect for resource management
We use Ganttic for the activities in our three laboratories with personal. It is perfect for this kind of need.
Vorteile
It does resource management in the way we wish and it is easy to customize resources to fit our needs with own data fields etc.
Nachteile
The product looks little bit odd. It is a "tetris" look which I don´t really like.

Easy planning and clear overview of the projects
Vorteile
Easy data entrance and the filter/search opportunities. I need to get started with the reporting functionality which is easy to use but I need to make my own reports
Nachteile
This is not clear yet it depends on the further role out within our organisation. We need additional functionality with regards to the use of colours and the options illness, hospital visit etc

For holidays we have the task type "holiday" or "public holiday". However, if you want to take hour assigned to this holiday task out from the reports, I would just recommend to make a new project named "holiday" and assign a different color for it to make it more visible.

Gave me an overview of the company workload and resource management.
Vorteile
Easy to use with, its super easy to setup and get things running.
Gave the management team a birds eye view on current progress and what's next.
Nachteile
Sometimes laggy, might be my machine in the first place.
Also, its quite expensive in my opinion.
I'm not sure why, but sometimes in the "resource view" I cant scroll down more to see last resource. Might be a bug?

More features for less money
flexibility
Vorteile
We switched to ganttic from another software and got all the features we were looking for at a lower monthly cost.
Nachteile
After scheduling a "team" of people, it's a lot of work to break them up into smaller teams. Example, we scheduled a group of 5 for an 8 week project and then had to break that week up to stagger breaks. We had to do a lot of work in ganttic to make that happen.

We can also see the con that you brought forth that is specific to your planning process. To be honest, here we do not have a good workaround. One option to make things faster would be to use the "copy task" function. Moreover, have you tried planning in projects or single project view?

I think it would most prob be the way that we can interlink projects between users and projects. We have multiple users from different departments working on the same projects and now we have an application that can link all of us

i would like a comment section on the users side next to the contact tab. so i can add addresses of people or personal details other than email and phone number

We can see our resources and easily allocate them, and other people in the organisation can see this as well so that we don't overbook ourselves.

Flexibility in views - can view by user, by department, by role, by task, etc. Also like the tabbed view capability, and the built-in reporting options
Nachteile
If I need to place the same project on multiple users' profiles and link together so changes made in one place are the same, but then have different date ranges for different departments (UX/UI, QA, etc.), there isn't a simple way to do this

Very user friendly, but lacks some features that would be very helpful
I'm able to easily see where my team is and what they have going on over the next few weeks. It is very helpful.

The various views is nice. The simplicity of the software is great too. It was very easy to learn.

I wish I could add multiple resources to the same task instead of adding the same task for everyone.

Very good. We have just switched from using a different planning tool and Ganttic is much...
It makes my day to day work very straight forward and proves to be a very efficient tool for me and the rest of the team.
Vorteile
The ease of use and the fact multiple users can work at the same time. It's a very intuitive piece of software and the whole team have taken to it very quickly.
Nachteile
I miss having a scroll bar so i can quickly zip along the timeline. I also feel that a larger colour palette would suit our company a bit more
