Everything is so easy to use and access, I was a total beginner when I first started with Ecwid. Which leads into the next thing, the customer support and technical assistance are EXCELLENT. Absolutely the best I have ever experienced.

Nachteile

I think there could be a little better value for money on Ecwid, like being able to edit and create orders. This is not available on the Venture plan, and can be found on other ecommerce sites for the same price as the venture plan.

I don't actually sell a product, I use the store for people to sign up for classes. There were a few customizations I couldn't make just because Ecwid is really for selling products. The ease of use and nice look far outweigh the cons.

I like the user friendliness of the software and it has been dependable over the past two years. I like the ability to connect with customers through the software or download a CSV file with email addresses.

At some point soon, we would like to upload the music (mp3's) and also possible sell my original CD's from Ecwid. I will need more help than just a link to a documentation page. I hope that is possible. Thank you!

This shopping cart is the best available and comes with first class customer service.

Not being able to alter invoice before sending to customer. I would like to be able to insert postage costs into invoice myself, either I can't do it on the rate I am on

ECWID is webbased and very easy to try and then to move on to a reasonably priced 'Pro' version.
My company has particular challenges with presenting our goods which means we needed to customise how the flow worked and needed ECWIDs help. They were always fast (we are probably talking of a response time measured in seconds rather than minutes) at letting us giving us the code to make the changes we needed and talking/ supporting us through the process.

Ecwid is an intuitive system for getting started and developing your eCommerce business. I integrated it with my Wordpress website in under an hour without any hitches.

Nachteile

Using Ecwid as a standalone online store looks to be more difficult to set up than integrating it with my existing website.

You will really like the cart because you will get extensive cart features, deals and discounts as they are partnered heavily and integrated multiple shopping payment options.

I think if they extend to integrate with google payments, samsung payments, social streams it would attract more visibility.

Ecwid is easy to use and understand. Most solutions with as many options as Ecwid offers are complicated and cumbersome, not Ecwid. We can make quick changes, updates and create new categories and products in seconds. Our favorite feature is the ability to embed the store into our site, so our clients have an excellent connected experience.

Ecwid is not very well known, wish it would have been easier to find when searching for a solution.

I specially like ECWID's proactive approach to consumer needs. They have all the apps that one could possibly need plus some! Timely blogs nudge you on just when you want to give up and think "I don't have time for this." The pricing of plans is bang on for price conscious users (as we Indians definitely are).

Nachteile

Only if the free starter site could be made a little bit more flexible! For example, I don't want to put any pictures for my categories but I have to, to cover up the big icons of tied up presents that would other appear. Also, some of the text sizes and placements seem misplaced. For example the "sign in" is a tiny little text, which one can easily miss. The category simple texts are close together under the name. I would prefer them to be bigger and placed more apart.

I found the platform very easy to use and for an affordable cost it offers all that I need as a startup online business. I have recommended it to others and to my design students.

I haven't identified any major flaws as yet. There was only one thing that I found so difficult that I gave up and that was connecting my store to eBay and Amazon..very complex set of steps to follow.

es muy facil de rellenar y todo, pero creo que yo entendi mal al leer el anuncio, pense que era un espacio para direccionar clientes a mi tienda, y no es asi, en si lo veo que es para crear tu tienda y ahi queda y tu mismo impulsarla, pero eso lo hacia gratis y en facebook, por mi experiencia no lo recomiendo

Anyone with basic e commerce knowledge will be able to understand this very easily and it wont take much time to setup your own store.

I would definitely like to see many more integrations with API's. Facebook limits the visibility of vendor shopping applications on handheld devices.

I like that it is really easy to setup and add to website. I set this up as I was building a website for a client. After I added the code to the website, the client can now edit and add/remove items from the website store using the Ecwid web interface without touching any of the code.

Nachteile

The feature to add all of the items to the website at once instead of one by one is a little hard to find. There is no clear path and I have to click around a few times to find that feature.

I love being able to sync my web inventory with my square reader and I enjoy the retaliative ease of use and powerful feature set of the ecwid solution.

I do not like the controls that they require you to use to embed in wordpress, easy but they make me nervous. Also an ecwid implented web site has a hard time passing scans by the cc verification company due to it being hosted on a different server, some of these control scan packages just don't get it.

The app is constantly under updates and come up with great updates.
I'm participating as a reseller as well, although have not been active much, but i've got the privilege to see the difference between both the dashboard. I prefer if ecwid could roll-out every updates on reseller accounts as well and more frequent than it does now.

I think the starter site can be advanced to have better look and having more themes to be chosen from.
We should be able to give to translation to our products and upload different images for different languages, similar to label editor app, but for catalog.
