Vorteile

The most useful feature was the ability to patch a very broad number of common software applications in addition to Windows Updates alone, especially for remote workers. The reporting when patches failed to be successfully deployed was also very helpful in carrying out root cause analysis.

Nachteile

The initial deployment was a bit tricky as the integration and administration manuals weren't entirely clear about different concepts used in the architecture.

There are in-depth tutorials, helpful staff, and a detailed knowledge base for basically every setup scenario.

Nachteile

Some of their KBs are out of date, but I have been able to have things updated through staff and through asking questions.

AD integration is lacking. It would be useful to link Azure AD with this product for integtrating AD groups for ease of management.

I like the global view of where my environment is related to patches. It allows you to then drill down from the dashboard to quickly see what needs to be deployed.

So far, I have not found anything I would change. I have had great success during my trial period

Relatively straightforward to setup and there's a decent amount of functionality built in. Room for expansion but we can get the results we need with what's there currently

We did come across a few intricacies that weren't documented and came about because of the way we were trying to set things up. There were solutions to everything, however, it feels like this product just needs a little refinement to be top notch

The Price is a key component when were looking at different programs out there and bundling it with the remote software. I liked that it was easy to use and setup for our company computers. Also, I really like that you had the different graphs, charts and the security bulletins that we could see and what Manage Engine recommended

- Interface isn't always the most intuitive.
- No way to add custom patches or support for custom third-party updates (i.e. software we wrote ourselves)
- Had to manually restart the service on Windows for it to appear in the dashboard

I was tasked with finding software to replace WSUS. We are a Manage Engine house so decided to give this software a go. We were not disappointed. We have given it very heavy use over the 1 month trial period and it has performed flawlessly. We will be buying this product for sure.

The product is easy to use and deploy. There is a useful dashboard that allows you to manage systems and at a glance view vulnerable systems. The deployment tool of the software is relatively simple and deployment policies are easy to setup. It has allowed our organisation to patch our devices efficiently.

The main disadvantage I have found is that it is not easy to setup automatic deployment of critical updates for non Microsoft products.
