The software has made our small business more efficient and allows us to focus on the clients, as we run a client based business, it is important that we can take the time we used to spend invoicing, requesting contracts, and following up on payments to interact with our clients more.

Vorteile

Honeybook streamlines your process into an easy to use system, once the initial set up, from questionnaires to Invoices and Contracts you have all the tools you need to manage your projects. The desktop and mobile app add flexibility to what you can do with your business at home, in the office, or on the go.

Nachteile

The setup process is a bit tricky and unless you have familiarized yourself with template creation, pay someone to build your templates, or find a premade on to edit to work for your needs it is a bit overwhelming if you have no experience at all with creating online templates or websites.

HoneyBook takes the stress out of Events

This Product is a Must.

This software organizes our contracts, our proposals, our payments and essentially preps all our accounting in such a quick easy way. Our business became so much easier. We don't have to sit over paperwork for hours and that gives us time to give it our clients...which in turn gives us more clients. Our clients have never had to ask how to pay through the software because it is easy. The system even sends out payment reminders to our clients so we don't have to...which is definitely a major plus. I have already recommended HoneyBook to several other businesses who were struggling with all the paperwork and payments for their companies. This software makes that much of a difference.

Vorteile

The complete set up of contracts, invoices and legal portions was so quick and easy. Now we don't have to struggle with creating new proposals with each client. The auto population of products previously used is a huge time saver and makes it really easy for new employees to get the right price with the right product.

Nachteile

The only thing I would like to see, and truly, I haven't asked, so it may even be there already; the monthly report of income shows the total of all contracts that came in during the month. We only collect a deposit from each. We would like to see the income report reflect just the deposit total of the month for our accounting purposes.

Tries to do a lot of things, but none of them are done very well

I felt like the app looked great and had great potential, but the clunky UI design left me frustrated. We had been using it for almost a year and still felt that something just wasn't clicking. We ended up moving away from Honeybook and chose another program that was more specific to our industry.

Vorteile

The look and feel of the app is very clean, love the ability to add images and customize the look and feel of contracts, flyers, brochures and more. Adding a custom form field to our website was easy to do. Automation feature seems nice, but we didn't really use it.

Nachteile

In contracts the most frustrating thing is that you can only add line items at the very bottom of the invoice. That means if you have a very long invoice and want to add a line to the top of the page, you have to add a line at the bottom and drag it all the way up to the top ( which is extremely tedious ). It wastes so much time that it made me wonder if we wasted more time trying to use this clunky app than just doing things the way we were used to in excel!

Best Decision I Made For My Company

It has been wonderful and has boosted my business's profitability. I can take the info I gathered from HoneyBook and show a bank real numbers.

Vorteile

I like that I can use it in several ways. From making brochures to invoicing, to contracts. Everything is in one place.

Nachteile

I would like the ability to chose the date of expiration, versus week to week.

This tool will change your business!

Honeybook saves me time and allows me to manage a much higher amount of projects on my own without additional staff! I love having everything in one place and having my customized Honeybook contact form imbedded on my website so new inquiries automatically create a new project in the program without me doing anything!

Vorteile

Too many things to list! You can create, customize, and assign workflows to every project. It links to your calendar so everything is there at a glance, even brand new inquiries! You can create so many templates to save yourself time and energy by not rewriting the same thing with every project. Your contracts and invoicing are all in one place for the client to easily access. It also links with your Quickbooks account!

Nachteile

Some features could use a bit of refining. My main concern is that the signature lines on contracts aren't customizable, and for someone operating an LLC, we need to be able to add a title next to our name so that we are signing on behalf of the company, rather than personally as ourselves.

I would also love to see better integration with Quickbooks. I regularly have to go in to QB and manually edit the tax rate for each project so that it will categorize properly. I also have had regular issues with tax being calculated/rounded differently for HB vs QB so that they show $0.01 balance still due in QB after a project is paid in full via HB.

Great CRM for my business

Easy to use and great value for money

Vorteile

HoneyBook allows me to keep track of everything in one place, and I mean everything!

Nachteile

Initially there was no integration with Microsoft Outlook but this has now been fixed!!

HoneyBook is essential for my part-time consulting business

Vorteile

I do event consulting on the side, while maintaining a full-time job. I needed a software platform that enabled me to look professional with my clients, while not being a huge time sink. Luckily I found HoneyBook which allows me to organize my projects and provide professional and gorgeous proposals to my clients. I couldn't be so efficient without HoneyBook!

Nachteile

Contracts and payments could be a little bit smoother but these are minor complaints for how helpful HoneyBook is

Game changer!

I am more streamlined, more professional looking, super simple invoicing and workflow!

Vorteile

It is easy and (dare I say it?) fun! Easy, guided templates for emails, brochures, contracts, and workflows keep my company moving forward!

Nachteile

That I don't get alerts via email when tasks are due and that I can not delete the sample templates

I use HB for Everything!

Vorteile

My favorite features are proposals and contracts, being connected it's easier for the client to read everything.

Love it!

Vorteile

I like the calendars, invoices, contracts, etc.

Nachteile

When scheduling, I think it needs to list common holidays on calendars, not random ones, the ones that count :) Also, in batch emails, I haven't figured out how to send to the same batch again. So, I end up making a new one every time.

Everything you and your clients need in one place!

Easy to navigate once I had a chance to play with it. Clients love it as well.

Vorteile

Like the title of my review says, the fact that I can keep all client information in one place! It makes it so easy to keep track of contract changes and it's easy to navigate!

Nachteile

It was a learning curve, but I think that was also part of never having used a software like this before.

Fantastic software!

HoneyBook Review

We don't use Honeybook here as an everyday App in our office, but with small improvements​ we definitely would.

Vorteile

Honeybook is great for vendors to communicate in one large group forum! It is nice to be able to share proposals, estimates, etc and be able to comment on them!

Nachteile

What I don't love is that you have to be able to be the "allowed" vendor to access​ certain proposals. Being a planner and being CC'd on all emails is great but with honeybook you can only give access to certain people which is limited.
