Amazing insights into how your app is being used
Signed up for an Intercom demo and immediately purchased. The ability to trigger automated emails based on activities within your app is pretty sweet. I really love having the ability to just send in-app alerts to users to highlight a new feature release. All of our live chats are now supported through Intercom as well so we can easily track conversations to users and allow our team to know more about our users when handling their requests.
Vorteile
It's a fully integrated automation, live chat, and app monitoring system.
Nachteile
No complaints from me...it can be a little pricey to get ALL of the bells and whistles, but for what it does it's a solid value.

Great live chat
It is a safe bet to make your customer service more effective
Vorteile
It can be immediately implemented live in the website. I like how easy it is to set up, and therefore to interact with customers from day 1.
Nachteile
I like Intercom and believe is a good product. I would like to have more integrations with third parties and more personalization of reports

I love Intercom for my business!
Vorteile
We use both their Resolve and Educate products and they're great! Gone are the days of using Gmail for answering hundreds of daily consumer inquiries without any visibility to conversations between team mates and customers. Intercom makes it so easy. We love it!
Nachteile
I wish they would roll out a better email signature functionality. We do miss that from our regular email.

Neat new product
Love it. Makes it very easy for multiple people to listen to instructors during class and communicate with each other. Would definitely recommend it.
Vorteile
In my company intercom is used a lot. We do online classes and use intercom for everyone to communicate and it works great. Plus its really simple to understand.

The only problems I had were connection problems but that can happen with any kind of internet software.

Robust but costly customer communication platform
Overall we liked the product but it did not meet our immediate needs.
Vorteile
We use Intercom to email users after they have used our software for a fixed number of times. A nice feature that customer enjoy is that we have a button in our product that end-user can use to chat with support teams if they have questions. This really helps with customer engagement and allows us to monitor the pulse of the customer. Onboarding with Intercom is a breeze, it's very quick to setup. The UI design is very clean and snappy despite all the various features that Intercom offers.
Nachteile
Since we are not a huge company, the costs of Intercom outweighed the value of the leads it was bringing in. We needed something more budget-friendly with a subset of the features. The amount of activity was so low that we ended up sunsetting Intercom as no one was monitoring it, unless prompted in Slack.

What we use to chat directly with our clients
Without Intercom, we wouldn't be able to so easily and seamlessly integrate a chat function to our website.
Vorteile
I like the many different features this software offers. Chatbots, customizations, etc. However, I feel like these features are not organized in a way that make them simple to use, and you often get lost in all of the action.
Nachteile
I don't like how you can't access a chat you receive via mobile without having the app downloaded. Chats that we receive as a company must be answered ASAP, and we've encountered a few times where the person responsible would have to access the chat by mobile but then would have to download the app, and whenever the app updates, it logs you out so if you've forgotten your log ins (which you probably would have since the log in is normally saved via desktop so you don't have to remember it), it takes a long time for you to answer your client.

Vorteile
It's a decent live chat software, there is more than enough information about customer presented in chat window such as user's mail, phone number, user id, when the user was first and last seen and even his total bet amounts and first placed bet date in single chat window!
Nachteile
The settings are somehow complicated, for example finding chat history is not as much easy as it may seem :) The design also could have been more elaborated as it is simple looking and the white background is not pleasant for eyes .

intercom - I'm loving it
Vorteile
it's cool, solves a-lot of issues for SaaS companies and diminishes the need for many HelpDesk \ CRM modules
I have to admit htat the customer support that intercom reps provide is REMARKABLE
keep up the good work

The UI is missing some key capabilities, mainly the ability to modify fields for customers \ leads which have to be manipulated by API

Great looking user interface
Vorteile
easy to use, great looking user interface, someone new to the system can easily get setup and going right away.
Nachteile
No bot assistant yet. They actually preach customers not to use bots because it takes away the human to human interaction. So if you're looking for AI bots to answer questions on chat you're out of luck

Great product!
I have been using Intercom for the past 3 months, and have never encountered an issue other than you need a little bit of a big screen (in my case I have a MacBook Air and to be fully able to use Intercom I need a second screen). It is easy and nice on the eyes, and easy to learn and use.
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to use without much instructions. Nice interface, user-friendly, organized.
Nachteile
Not very good on small screens, as it has a lot of options.

Intercom brought all our sales need to the table.
Vorteile
So far it has worked for me without inconveniences. Intercom is an easy solution to adopt and execute. It provides an easy way to add a chat, a support ticket and send notifications / messages to customers.
Nachteile
We use Respond, and the only complaint we have with Intercom is that we can not use different messages per page for our website. Having a small limited number of messages, instead would make all customers happy in the long term, that would be my suggestion about it.

The best ticketing software
Got a more featured product than our last ticketing software, Groove.
Vorteile
I've used Zendesk, Groove, and now Intercom and Intercom really is the best. It's super simple to setup. It scans your old KB and creates a new one for you. Definitely helped the setup process. All the insights you get for each product are awesome. I know Zendesk has reporting but this is much better in my mind.
Nachteile
I don't like their billing system. You are billed per user, which means whenever someone loads your application they are added as a user. I wish there was a way to only count users you have conversations with. You can delete users based off this but you sort of have to do it every day.

Not the software I was looking for
The overall experience was good however, it doesn't have as many features as I was expecting

I liked the quality of the software and the messenger.

It's way too expensive. I had to switch from Intercom to another product because of that.

Great Communication Tool
Vorteile
I love the app functionality that Intercom provides. The app is so simple to use, it's easy to jump on your phone and navigate through chats.
Nachteile
I wish that the desktop app/website was a lot easier to use and more like the app. With how simple the app is, you would hope and think that the website would be a lot easier to use, but it isn't. You get in there and feel overwhelmed. It's confusing jumping on there and I prefer to use the app.

Great for customer service
Vorteile
The setup process is easy and quick, this is a simple and great solution for customer support that is easy to integrate. Good feedback from customers about the user-friendly chat interface. Great way to analyze customer interaction and understand concerns as well.
Nachteile
While it is easy for customers to use, the interface on the internal side is a bit more complicated so takes some time to fully onboard. Also the pricing is very high.

Intercom Review
Vorteile
The large array of customization and analytics is astounding. Intercom makes it simple to pull so much critical data from each customer interaction to be able to make educated decisions moving forward. The Product Tours function has been particularly useful for our team.
Nachteile
Occasionally, particularly in the beginning stages, the software can feel overwhelming with how many options it provides, and learning where to find it all.

A simple to way keep in touch with clients
Vorteile
The Intercom platform is best for live chat customer support and setting up customer engagement campaigns.
Nachteile
The Educate product for setting up a help desk is rigid and doesn't support multiple languages so Intercom for us was not a one-stop-shop that we hoped it would be.

No significant cons from our perspective. Intercom is best in class for many reasons and we're very happy with the product.
