Sometimes it doesn’t update live time. So if two people are navigating the sign up , it won’t show right away that someone already signed up. However it’s not a huge deal, It’s still worth it .

It's free. I have only used the free version but have found it fit my needs to schedule a high volume of meetings.

For what we needed, we loved sign up genius. There were times that families found it less than easy and would make mistakes on their end which could be a bit complicated to fix. Overall, not a big issue.

It was super easy to use, and made creating parent-teacher conferences a breeze to set up. It is perfect that you can customize fields (like requiring the student’s name to keep track of who belongs to who!) I like that it also sent reminders to families that signed up.

I use signup genius on a weekly basis to manage students to sign up for lessons and also for volunteer tutors to choose times they would like to volunteer in. Signup genius is incredibly easy to use as it is very user friendly. The features are self explanatory. Those who are not familiar with this software would be able to figure out how to use it relatively easily. After using signup genius I find that planning for lessons is a lot easier as it is an easy and efficient way to gather the information (volunteer times in my case). I have also used signup genius to sign up for volunteering times. It is very simple and easy to use! Therefore, on both a planning and user's perspective this software is very well made and easy to use. No previous knowledge required and setting up a volunteering time page does not take long.

I don't have anything negative to say about signup genius. I've always really liked using signup genius. One thing would maybe for the designers of the website to look into the aesthetics of the website. ONLY a suggestion.

As a planner of many events and fundraisers, this is a great first step for me to outline what is needed. It really forces you to think about the little details like stations, time one can work in a station, materials needed prior, set up and tear down, etc. before seeking help.

Nachteile

As one who has been asked to sign up, sometimes I am not allowed to change my sign up so I have to contact the administrator to do so. Likewise, when I have sent one out, not everyone can figure out how to change a sign up so I get emails asking me to fix it, which can be time-consuming.

This software has revolutionized my ability to schedule one on one meetings with students. Before using the product, I had to email students one by one to give them some options of available times to meet for one on one meetings; then, I would have to wait for each particular student to respond before offering those same time options to the next student in order to avoid conflicts and being double booked. Now using sign up genius, I can display all my available times to all students and they can sign up for a time to meet with me on a first come first serve basis. Using SignUpGenius decreased the time spent in communication for scheduling 100-fold.

Nachteile

There are sometimes ads shown within the sign up that can make it appear that the list is done. This can sometimes affect students knowing they should continue to scroll for more time options.

As much as it was easy to add the signups to my Google Calendar, I wish that it would have a button to add all the events rather than clicking on each event to add them individually.

I liked that you can create categories for others to sign up and you can see where you signed up, in case yo forgot what you signed up for.

It wasn't the software, but some users do not know how to create categories so it makes it difficult for individuals to sign up for various tasks, Perhaps, examples of how people can use it might be helpful to those that are building sign up tasks.

I like that SignUpGenius is free and that there are a variety of options for letting folks reply to your event invitation. I also like that it can show time slots that are unavailable, if you are having people sign up for personal appointments.

Nachteile

Honestly, I think the color scheme and iconography on the site is rather hokey and outdated. It reminds me of graphic design from the 90's. It could really use a UI revamp.

I love that you can have multiple types of sign up sheets. For instance I've used them to have students sign up for one of two different performance times or for families to sign up to bring certain items for a potluck while also choosing a time that works best for them.

I don't like all the ads on the free version and I also wish you could require payment to sign up on the form without having to purchase a SignUpGenius subscription.

The ease of use, and easy set up of what I needed. I loved the feature of sending me an email once a parent signed up for an item.

I love that this program lets you set up one or multiple sign ups for given items. It also sends a confirmation and a REMINDER email as a follow up. It can be used to organize all types of sign up sheets - over single days or multiple!

I have never had to cancel or try to sign up for a different time, so that is the only thing I can’t give feedback on. I am also not sure if admin power can be shared with more than one person.

What I like most about SignUpGenius is its free-to-use features. When I want to quickly put together a "sign up" where participants choose time slots or items to bring to an event, I can create the sign up and have it sent out fairly quickly. It is nice that the software itself updates me with emails about responses. I also enjoy having some options when it comes to customizing the look of my sign up. Another helpful feature is the ability to copy an existing sign and use it as the base for a new project.

Nachteile

SignUpGenius can be difficult to navigate and use at times. Problems can be pretty easily overcome when they arise, but creating a sign up sometimes feels cumbersome and clunky. For example, selecting times on specific days to include for scheduling can feel be frustrating, especially if the user makes a mistake and has to try to fix it. Editing feels like a chore at times.
