One of the best programs for creating presentations
Vorteile
This is one of the best softwares for presentations. It is easy to use and extremely feature rich. I’ve been using it since high school and throughout college and will no doubt be using it again in the workforce. It is easy to see why PowerPoint is an industry standard.
Nachteile
The fact that it is bundled with Microsoft Office means that it is not free. Also, each time they add new features in updates, computers running older versions cannot properly display the new changes.

PowerPoint Review
I have been using the Microsoft PowerPoint since more than 10 years and have gone through all the different versions. I can't use any other similar software and alway feel comfortable using it not only for presentations but also for some short videos or even designing a flyer .
Vorteile
I like the simplify of the software and how the easiness of its use, similar to any other Microsoft software. They have the same menus and tools.
Nachteile
There are not too many templates to choose from. And I hope we will be able to get more Smart Arts in the futures

It is a well-known classic tool - the usage of its format and knowledge of the software itself are considered essential in many organisations. Many things are intuitive. The best feature is compatibility with other MS Office apps, so you can mix and match them together easily.

Simplest Presentation Sofware
Overall, Powerpoint has always been the number one presentation software in my book. For most industries, this software is capable of meeting all of your needs.

Powerpoint has always been user friendly, and can be used on all kinds of devices. It has evolved to have more and more features over the years, and is extremely customizable.
Nachteile
Powerpoint could stand to have some more collaborative features. As a student and employee, it is sometimes difficult to put presentations together for group projects.

A decent way to present but perhaps not the best..
It's widely used and it works. It just may not be the best presentation software for you.
Vorteile
It is widely used by many people so sharing files or combining multiple presentations from different people is usually easy to do.
Nachteile
The program feels a bit bloated. It takes awhile to load compared to other similar programs. Designing great looking slides is usually easier in another graphic production program and imported into PowerPoint via image file, rather than designing it in PowerPoint itself.

May take a while to get the hang of everything. There is so much that you can do with the program it takes a little playing around with it to figure some things out.

There are several different ways to set up presentations. So many fonts and effects. Adding sounds or graphs can really add to your project. It is easy to up load pictures to add a more specific presentation, than just clip art.

Great Presentation tool
Overall, this product has helped me build out great presentations and is very easy to use.
Vorteile
This product allows for presentations to be modified easily and you can add any content from videos, to images, charts, etc. It also allows for a cohesive presentation by giving theme/layouts.
Nachteile
I would say the biggest weakness is that the formatting can easily be ruined by pressing tab or enter at the wrong time or in the wrong area. I've used bullet points that somehow disappear or dont populate.

This software is great for getting your point across in a fun way. Our company has used this in many instances. When we introduced our new customer service approach PowerPoint was used to share the key points and valid information in an effective way. Easy for the user to create with, and fun for the audience to experience.
Nachteile
My only con would be that there could be more in-house customization options.

Powerpoint is my best friend
Vorteile
I have used powerpoint all my life delivering presentations. I am using it since 2010. Not just that but I have also used it to create Mobile app UX wireframes. I love its themes, animations and almost everything.
Nachteile
It is very expensive. I am a student and I wish a free version was available for me. Also I want to use powerpoint in Linux since now my whole research work is dependent on linux.

I would say that overall this was a great experience using PowerPoint. What was something that I thought would be hard was not.

I was very surprised with how easy this was to use. I had never done a power point and this product made it easy.

Great and Powerful PowerPoint Software
I love the features PowerPoint gives you, the anchoring and dragging and dropping makes it easy to create professional PowerPoints in very little time.
Vorteile
PowerPoint is easy to use once you have some experience using it. It comes with a lot of features to use right out of the box and does not take long to install. It provides some cloud-based sharing options.
Nachteile
I don't like the cloud-based sharing options. It's easier to download the PowerPoint and send as an attachment although the PowerPoint is not live.

It is perfect for teaching and guiding lessons!
Vorteile
I love how easy it is to include texts, pictures, videos, links, etc. It is perfect for guiding my students for taking notes as they only see one point at a time. I love the presentation mode where I Can see my notes and talking points but my students dont!
Nachteile
I have a Dell at school, but a Mac at home, and it is difficult to convert between the two. Also, my students have ChromeBooks so it is not compatible if I want to share them .

I have used Powerpoint for many years. I have tried other presentation tools but always come back to Powerpoint for its ease of use. I use it for all internal and external presentations

It is very easy to use with a good range of features. It is the go-to software to support presentations
Nachteile
Sometimes, embedding videos into presentations can be tricky - especially if you don't use this feature often. While it does have a video insert option in the tab, it sometimes needs a little manipulation to make it work

Customer Service for Microsoft has been outstanding to say the least. Have purchased Office 2016 Professional and use their Office 365 for my business. Powerful software, great customer service.

If you're a visual learner like me, this is very helpful when trying to get your team on board for a new project or even just up to speed with new goals.

It takes a little time to learn the features that work best for the type of presentation that you want to use, but once you've got that sorted out it's extremely helpful!

Unless you have someone to teach you the ropes on how to use it, it can be a little time consuming before you're up and running. Still extremely useful once you've got it though.

Overall, I've been satisfied with PowerPoint, and I use it most times that I need to create a presentation.
Vorteile
Powerpoint is easy to use for standard presentations. I like the transitions and the ability to apply a specific template or background to all slides at once. It has many different slide templates and color palettes to make your design look crisp and attractive.
Nachteile
You can easily embed a link to a video into your presentation but usually need to get out of PowerPoint to view that video.

My Go To for Professional Presentations
I love that you can add links, videos, and photos, each with a transition that make your presentation engaging for the viewer.
Also, you can print out the slides, so that your audience can follow along and take notes.
Vorteile
Easy to use, can make it as simple or complex as you want and looks professional when you have completed.
Nachteile
It takes a little bit of time to play around with the features to get them to look as you want. I could easily spend 20 minutes sprucing up the title; font, making it drop into the slide, etc.
