Vorteile
I absolutely love PowerPoint software. I have used it for almost all of my school and work presentations. It is extremely easy to navigate and the functions and features are great. It is also easy to add and edit pictures and text.
Nachteile
There is not much I feel that PowerPoint could improve upon. I have been using it for years and have never had an issue with it.

I have used PowerPoint for over a decade. This is great for everyone from school-age to professional adults.

Easy to use for all levels and creates a professional looking presentation for no cost. The variety of pre-made templates are also a great value-add.

I am happy with this product but think it must advance to compete with more modern applications, such as the animated Prezi.

Use when internet explorer is not available for some websites.
Vorteile
All of the Supervisors had to learn how to use PowerPoint for presentation to Senior Management. I like how you can create multiple pages, graphs picture and type your notes in each page. Once you complete your presentation, you feel a million times better. We had to create the Monthly outcome for a delinquency each month. We had to pull information from a report and put it in words and graphs. PowerPoint is a great system to use when you have to create a presentation.
Nachteile
It was hard in the beginning to use PowerPoint at first. Short training.

Vorteile
PowerPoint is really easy to use and offers all the basics needed for creating presentations. I've created professional presentations for work as well as school projects and community events using PowerPoint.
Nachteile
The designs and picture/graph options seem fairly dated. The color schemes have not been updated in years so it's hard to make dynamic eye-catching presentations that have new graphics using this program. It would be great if they would offer new backgrounds and themes so that it isn't the same old thing at every meeting with a PowerPoint.

Versatile and easy to use
Great product for presentations because it is so easy!
Vorteile
Ease of functionality, lots of features, easy to manipulate and my final product always looks great. For what I use it for, it is perfect.
Nachteile
Transitions and animation graphics are a bit cheezy and are limited. I guarantee there are other features I'm not utilizing either but I'm not sure how to learn what they are for.

Works very well for what it was intended to do. Don't push it to do non presentation chores and it works great. I like it and will continue to use it.

It is very easy to add shapes and text and other objects. Creating a flow through the slideshow is simple and straightforward.

The install is huge, far bigger than is really necessary. Doing even simple calculations on screen is not easy to do.

Still the same PowerPoint you know and love. Easy as ever to use but it now looks so much better. So simple to create stunning presentations that can be shared and edited with team members.
Nachteile
Not much more functionality than when I was in high school. There are some other flashier software like Prezi. But I still like PowerPoint for the value and ease of use.

I love it! It makes flyer and banners so easily and I don't have to pay someone to do it for me!

Vorteile
The basic tool for preparing presentations. Very powerful and has a lot of options for customising the view of the presentation. The good thing is that if you get to know this tool very well it gets much easier and less unpredictable when using.
Nachteile
A vast of different options can be overwhelming. But the good thing is that you don't have to use very advanced elements to make a good presentation. Usually, a simple background + nice font and a basic transition is the best option for a presentation :) No need to use advanced forms of animations etc.

Always does what I need
Powerpoint is wonderful. My 11 year old grand daughter figured out how to use it herself and helped her mom with a presentation that she had to do for her college course.

I've had to do presentations for conferences, slideshows for personal use and presentations while training staff. I've been using PowerPoint for years and will continue to do so.

Whenever I need to make a presentation, PowerPoint is my go-to software. So far, it has never let me down.
Vorteile
I like how easy and intuitive PowerPoint is. Whenever I was to jazz up a presentation, all I have to do is search for a minute or two to find where the effects are and which ones I want to use.

It can be somewhat frustrating to properly align text with pictures and vice versa.

Love Creating with Power Point
I was an admin for many years and although I loved power point the technology was not there yet to keep up with the memory requirements.
Vorteile
All the templates available. Color rich features. Love the clip feature. Love the notes section. Love you can print multiple slides on one page.
Nachteile
The glitches or freezes when you have completed the most perfect slide. The embed features sometimes freeze.

I love that I can take a Word document or paper and easily transfer it over to Power POint!

I have used PowerPoint for many presentations throughout the last 15+ years.

PowerPoint is very user friendly and easy to use. It takes only seconds to open the software and begin creating content for presentations.
Nachteile
One issue in PowerPoint that I have incurred is that when importing videos, sometimes the videos seems to be a bit jumpy. Also, occasionally there will be a "Not Responding" error that pops up and crashes the program.

We don't have software for graphic design so I use PPT to do things like edit svg icons and create web page mock ups, graphics for sites. It's obviously good for presentations

It’s a fast and easy way to set up presentations for work, school and other functions.

I’ve used PowerPoint many times to set up presentations for either work or other school and it is one of my favorite programs to use. It does take a while to get use to but once you get the hang of it it is very easy to use. You’re able to make multiple slides for your presentation and add as much information you need
Nachteile
You are unable to go more in-depth with certain points on a slide. You are basically stuck using a certain amount of space

The programs many features made it easy to navigate through the different, and many, options available. These different appealing options and features helped me create presentations for work and other extracurricular activities that were engaging, appealing, fun, and informative. Powerpoint is also very accessible, and can be used on many mediums and platforms.
Nachteile
My only real big issue with the program is that it is least flexible than some other platforms - designing presentations are easy, but have limitations to how creative people can be.

Unfortunately, practice shows that not all use office packages from Microsoft, and Power Point is not fully compatible with most alternative software packages. This means that your customer or partner, for whom you have prepared the presentation in Power Point, will not be able to open and view it.
