Lots of Great Features
I love that they've pared down the available animations.
Vorteile
This software continues to evolve and add new features with each new update. Moving to the ribbon bar was a great opportunity to put more features more convenient for more people.
Nachteile
I wish sharing presentations between people (particularly with both able to use the same file at the same time) was easier.

Too expensive and inaccessible
I have MS office on my Androud phone so I still use it. On a computer I use Slides. But the phone app enables me to create presentation documents with ease.
Vorteile
It is the first presentation-creating software so it is therefore the best. All others are just copying it.
Nachteile
It is expensive and inaccessible. Its features used to exceed those of Google Slides but that's not the case any more.

Vorteile
I like this most for the ease of use with this software product. It is easy to navigate and easy to build a great power point presentation. I use this every time I need to do a presentation because of how quickly I can get my content on the user friendly slides.

The thing I would like to see more of is slide designs I found these to be limited.

What I like most about Microsoft Power Point is how easy it is to use and how professional it makes presentations look. Its features and functionality exceed my expectations.

What I like least about this software is the format in which it is saved can sometimes be difficult to transfer to other computers, mainly non-microsoft (Apple) computers.

So Much Better Now
Overall, this platform has served me well. I used all of its bells and whistles during my last public speech and it was very gratifying to be able to give a full presentation to my group.

I know it's an oldy but goody, but I'm impressed with how newer versions are keeping up with needs.

An easy decision
Compared to Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint offers a far greater range of features. And the fact that it's included in Office 365 makes it an easy decision for me.

It is simple to accomplish what I need to in the minimum amount of time. Various included transitions and fonts are simple and to the point.

I've used it for multiple things for a long time. I've enjoyed all of it.
Vorteile
It is a fun software to use. There is variety of choices of what to make of your creation. For example, converting it into an actual video!
Nachteile
These will probably be very minor details. I'd enjoy a more detailed panel for when converting projects into movies, but I understand it's powerpoint.

Great for presentations, many options without additional costs. Graphics make me look like I know my way around the program well.
Nachteile
Confusing to make it look "fancy" when you do not have a lot of time or computer knowledge. Additions like time delays and videos do not always work or have to be clicked on to play separately.

We have used PowerPoint in the past for presentations on data and metrics.

This is the premier tool for creating presentations and I especially like the integration with Excel. I include lots of charts and graphs within presentations and the ability to link to Excel documents is huge.

Establishing correct links to Excel documents can take some time figuring out.

Still the best for presentations!
PowerPoint is just the go-to system to use. Love the slide "handout" feature for printing for a presentation.

There are some new products, specifically from Google, but this is still the best presentation software available.
Nachteile
no complaints. Its a good, solid program that does exactly what's needed. Like the "stock" backgrounds they have available, but still customizable.

The best tool for creating presentations
Powerpoint is and has always been my tool for presentations. I always had everything I needed in it and I never had to resort to alternative tools.
Vorteile
What fascinates me about PowerPoint is the ease I have in creating a sequence of Slides. Furthermore, it is a very fast tool.

I think that some more advanced options for playing videos inside a specific part of a slide are missing.

Great for business and school presentations

There are so many different layouts and options available so you can make a very interesting and captivating presentation that hopefully won't put your viewers to sleep! I use this for business presentations but have also been using powerpoint since I was a student and my children use it as well!
