Basic standard that everyone needs
Vorteile
Many people have switched to other methods of presenting material, but I stick with PowerPoint as a reliable software choice that is dependable, and well-known. While the features could use some updating, and many of the old 'transitions" look stilted or out of date, a clean PowerPoint presentation goes a long way.
Nachteile
So few "themes" that you see the same ones over and over again at conferences. I'm sure there are add-ons out there, but I haven't explored that yet.

It is easy to create a professional presentation that can be updated as you go.
Vorteile
This software is easy to learn and I was able to begin developing my own presentations without any instruction. Once you learn the basics, you can add more intermediate features with ease. Changes to presentations can be made on the fly.
Nachteile
The organizational chart feature can be cumbersome. When editing charts and slides with graphics, alignment of objects and text get thrown off and redesign is needed.

Start by scratch
Being in front of hundreds of viewers and showing my PP-presentation is really a catch. Various Medistypes, colors, sound round everything up.
Vorteile
Starting by scratch is the best way to begin. Easy interfaces, mostly no bugs.

It can take some time to get into further details, but keep on trying, it is worth it !

Great Tool for Everything
Vorteile
PowerPoint is super easy to use to make a presentation of just about anything. You can be as simple or as complex as you like in the slide design.
Nachteile
I wish there were more transitions available between slides. Using the same ones over and over can lead to a boring presentation

It is easy to use. Someone new is able to pick up PowerPoint easily and it's been there for years. You will be able to prepare presentation slides in minutes.
Nachteile
It's expensive compare to it's competitor Google Slides. It's old school and not much changes since many years back.

I've been using power point since forever and its jus amazing what you can do with it.

There are never enough things you can accomplish with this software, from a small follow up presentation up to a live collaborative presentation.
Nachteile
Compatibility between Microsoft and Mac softwares might become compromised in certain occasions. This has happened to me 2 times.

Use for presentations
Vorteile
At work we use this for our health and safety presentations. Only gave Customer support 3 because I have never had to contact them for support so I am unaware of how promptly they deal with issues. We have health and saftey presentations quarterly as we have lots of field and office staff
Nachteile
Would be nice to see more templates and backgrounds for slides in the future. But this is not really a big issue as you can import and download your own content.

Great for presentations
As a Teacher, the PowerPoint software has been a great tool for students to use to create presentations, and it’s also a useful tool to facilitate learning.

I have always loved how PowerPoint is easy to use for classroom projects for my students.

Vorteile
The various transitions and animations that are available make the presentation more effective. The new feature where PowerPoint tells you which was the last slide you worked on the previous time you worked on the presentation is very helpful. The feature to rehearse timings is useful too.
Nachteile
Not being able to do at least simple mathematical calculations like excel. When you change the design the arrangement of data changes automatically so you have to rearrange it.

Great tool
I think that when you need to create a quick presentation for your staff or clients, it allows you to create something that looks professional without having to spend hours on it because it gives you pre-set forms.
Vorteile
I like being able to edit the presentation easily because all the tools are very graphic and easy to use.
Nachteile
sometimes when I add images, the computer starts freezing, it might not be all about the software (maybe it's also my computer) but could be that the software could be improved in this sense too.

my experience was awesome, i enjoyed using powerpoint and will recommend it to anyone who needs help with a presentation be it for school, work or any other extra curricula activity that you may need it for, it would deliver.

Who doesn't use PowerPoint? While the features go above and beyond my capabilities, I am still always able to learn something new to do in PowerPoint and able to give great presentations.

I use PowerPoint quite a bit to present to other companies ideas and business proposals.
Vorteile
Overall I love PowerPoint it is create for creating quick professional slideshows with nice effects. I love the slideshow effects and transitions they help make your slideshow professional and they are quick and easy to implement.
Nachteile
The only problem I have with slide show as it has quite a heavy price point. Apart from that there's nothing else I do not like.

Easier than you think!
Being able to share my ideas as a Marketing director to the owner was much easier with PowerPoint by Microsoft.
Vorteile
I started using PowerPoint by Microsoft years ago and was a little intimated at first. But it's so easy, tells you step by step what to do. User friendly and easy on the eyes.
Nachteile
Hooking my computer up to the big screen for presentations, everyone could see my desktop while I was setting up. So having a start and stop button would be nice.

As the name suggests, put your power points and show if off.
Vorteile
No meetings now happen without a Power Point slide deck. It is a very beautiful way to present data in a audio graphic manner. Simple and easy.
Nachteile
I think its simplicity has made its userbase. If I try to compare it to prezi I wont do a justice. So overall PowePoint is good.

PowerPoint allows me to communicate with colleagues & clients more effectively. If you need to make a slideshow, highly recommend this.
Vorteile
Very robust in terms of animations, transitions, timing functionality, and basic slide show building capabilities. PowerPoint enables me to bring a project to life versus bore the audience with a static lecture/slideshow.
Nachteile
Bit of a learning curve to some of the more advanced functionality. Worth the time to learn though.

PowerPoint with a Purpose
I use PowerPoint for my student presentations. Students have to create a visual presentation of their term papers. Slides, information, and a thesis are laid out in a professional manner. It gives you not a only a visual it gives each student the ability to condense information. They have to learn how to be presice, use technology, and organize in a great way. Still the standard for slide shows. I recommend this software product.

Excellent Program for Presentations
I am an instructor and use PowerPoint to teach for all of my presentations.
Vorteile
Easy to use. Lots of options. Excellent interface. Looks great. Uses minimal computer resources. There are a lot of templates available for every type of presentation. I am a Post Graduate and Post Doctoral instructor and absolutely love this program for all of my presentation. I highly recommend this program.

Nothing, I love this program. I use this program all of the time for all of my presentations.
