Good Presentation Software
I like it and use it for my presentations.
Vorteile
Very user friendly. Works well copying and pasting text and images into this software.
Nachteile
This tool does not work well for creating org charts and process flow maps. I prefer Visio for these functions.

Vorteile
I like that you can make your presentation as simple or complex as you want. The more you use the program the more that you learn and the more you realize it can do. At the same time, if you are just starting out, it's very simple to put together a simple slideshow presentation.
Nachteile
It can be a bit overwhelming because there are so many different feature but it's not always the most naturally intuitive as to how to customize.

Pricey but Professional
I think my overall opionion of Mircrosoft Powerpoint is good. It is a useful tool for work presentations.
Vorteile
I like most Microsoft programs because they always manage to produce professional looking work. I like the power point program because it is really easy to create fast power point presentations for work and leisure.
Nachteile
There is a bit of a learning curve to using this program and as with all Microsoft programs it is very expensive. If I didn't get use of it for free through work, I don't think that I would use it at all.

I can’t get enough of this software.
Vorteile
I have been using this software since middle school. I have used it for projects, displays, orientations etc. I have never had a problem with it.
Nachteile
Inserting pictures are sometimes hard to do if you don’t know how to work the software.

PowerPoint is a classic but always improving to be better. One of the key features for me is that on the last version there are more background models.
Nachteile
Sometimes, if the file gets heavy, there's a chance PP keeps closing unexpectedly.

This has made my sales presentations a great success.
Vorteile
I learned how to use this program back in high school. The fact that I still know how to use is after all those years is great. Of course now it has improved a 100% it is nice to still be able to get back on the horse.
Nachteile
The videos get flipped when you play them on the power point. You set it to be the correct way then for some reason it flips it on certain videos. I have tried a bunch of different ways and nothing fixes it.

PowerPoint was a life saver in school and continues to do so today!

I had a business meeting scheduled for 3 weeks to present our new business model. I had no idea where to even begin, until I was helping my son with his homework and was teaching him how to use PowerPoint. It just clicked. We did our homework together and we got the bid!
Nachteile
There is nothing I can say bad about Powerpoint. Unless you've been living under a technology rock, you've used it once in your life. Such a great product

Super easy to use to create presentations. Can easily add custom data or import charts or images you already have made. User can easily customize presentation to make data more visually pleasing and interesting.
Nachteile
Powerpoint does not support PDF format, so you can not import a PDF to use into your presentation. The cost is a bit high, however it is associated with other Microsoft programs.

I use PowerPoint presentations to provide that visual element for my presentations, which I believe leads to a more engaged audience. I use it for monthly presentations to my board, as well as community presentations.
Vorteile
I have access to PowerPoint and another similar software, but PowerPoint's ease of use and compatibility with all computers and projectors I've come across is a plus. I also like the various templates available.

There's nothing I don't like about PowerPoint.

It is essential for my graduate work. I would be lost without it as it is required to have to do many of my assignments.
Nachteile
When I first started using it, I was a little apprehensive that I would loose some of my saved files or not sure that they would upload properly. I felt a little dinosaurish towards the software especially since I barely used it for my undergrad projects and work.

Adding content with the required effects has been very easy yet functional using Microsoft Powerpoint. I've used this tool for presenting data to my clients and they've always liked it. Works only if you download the Microsoft Office package.

Probably, Microsoft can update with newer features since it's been a while. But, anyway, I will use for all my presentations.

maneuverable but lacking flexibility
Vorteile
I like how over the years, the format has not changed much with updates. I still feel comfortable operating this system with it's improvements and do not feel like I have to learn an entirely new system each time they update. This is a real strength for me in viewing Microsoft Powerpoint.
Nachteile
I wish it were more customizable in terms of templates and themes. Other software systems offer more flexibility and personalization.

Vorteile
Powerpoint's are more than just presentation creators. I use Powerpoint on a personal level where I can track my progress/success/fails. I have created slideshows from wedding reception shows to financial investment presentations. With the wide range of projects, you can get it all done in Powerpoint.
Nachteile
Ahh, the templates can be fairly tricky to understand. Grouping and alignment is odd when it comes to a busier slide.

I have used PowerPoint in many different aspects of my life. Some examples are: creating presentations for school, putting together slides to go with lessons that I teach in Sunday School, etc.
Nachteile
I think that there are some formatting issues that could be improved in PowerPoint. On occasion, I have some difficulty getting images to be where I want them in slides and things like that. But overall, I don't have complaints!

Not Very Inspiring
Vorteile
It is the industry standard for presentations and therefore is the widely accepted format for presentations in almost any situation - especially more corporate environments.
Nachteile
It's not made for creative types and lacks some of the more inspiring tools that keynote or Prezi provides. It's probably why people automatically think of 'boring' as synonymous with PowerPoint presentations.

This program is fairly easy to use once you get used to the icons and play around with it.

I like that you have so many different layout options that seem pretty modern and up to date- not like what you would normally think of when you picture power point as being a more dated mode of presentation.

My small Audion Video company does projector presentations for outside companies and I have always enjoyed using this product!!

I have a small Audion Video company that does projector presentations for companies and 99% of them use Power Point and I own it as well. Its great to use and easy to make adjustments on the fly

In the beginning it was hard to incorporate videos into the presentation but over the years they have made that easier too!!!
