I love the functions of this product and mostly have used it into create flow charts. I love how the finished product looks, very organized and professional.

Nachteile

I don't find this product to be very user friendly and had difficulty navigating it without researching functions on it first.

Great program in the Office family that enhances work with Excel and makes compatibility very simple. Easy to use and another one of Microsoft's products that takes the complexity out of diagrams, etc.

I am a new user so I have not encountered anything that would be considered a "con." So far we have been happy with this.

The thing I like the most about Visio was its ability to create digestible flow charts to document various processes.

It is difficult for me to determine what I like least about this software due to my lack of robust experience. However, I think there could be improved design options.

We used it a lot for process flow and org charts. It was a great system, but there are much better alternatives. Lucidchart is one that is much cheaper.

Great system at a very high price. I can sign up to use Lucidchart for a whole year and pay less than a license for Visio.

It is one of the best in building graphs and charts. It is user-friendly and easy o use and understands.

It is by far the best application and to be honest I could not find cons to this application. I would recommend users to go for it if their works are heavy in building charts and diagrams.

Somethings the software will lock up and its very memory hungry to run. All the other typical Microsoft downfalls apply here as well. The cost for the software will also limit the user availability as well.

The user interface is smooth and very adaptive. Creating and formatting of flowcharts is fairly straightforward.

Although it might be suitable for others, I find this programs quite complex to use due to the vast number of features that is available to the user.

I like several newer features with visio 2013 over previous versions. Most prevelant the layering capability allowing you to show different views of the same basic diagram or phased over time views

Not the most intuitive if you have not used for a while. Help menu is okay, but requires a lot of different search methods to get to what you need.

The built-in designs. It provides some electrical symbols as built-ins in the program which I utilize most as an electrical engineer.

I hope the import and conversion of the vision files had more options added to the existing eligible list.

Microsoft Visio is a very good software for diagram and flow chart design. It's easy to learn and has a user-friendly environment to work with. I have used this software to create different flow charts for my school projects.

I like the easy builder feature in this software. I use to layout a rough idea of campaigns or dial plans so those reviewing can read it easily.

I don't like that once you drop a block on the sheet and then another one after, you can't go to the previous one and resize it.

Cant seem to find something really wrong with it. Maybe at the beginning you might struggle a little to get the hang of it, but quickly you'll start using it without problems.

It is great to generate any diagrams. From human body to wiring diagrams for components, it is relatively easy in use and has plenty of features that can be used to suit any needs.

It takes time to get around the software but after the first few uses it becomes like second nature.

Was working with another colleague on a project with this software and it is indeed great for designing on some different airplane parts. Has various templates that helped a lot. Since neither of us was experts it was just basic drawings we need to perform and it did it without much trouble. The more you know about designing the better this program will perform.

The only problem was you have to make sure your system can handle this software. Had to use a more powerful system as the other one we used originally was o slow and the software dragged. That was the only problem I could really think of as all went without a hitch

Its versatility is very good, it is very easy to use, and generally being a known product it is easy to open the extension.

Along with the name they are able to offer great products at competitive prices.
And most importantly are the vast amount of features Microsoft Visio offers and its Friendly user interface.

Other than that you'd be hard pressed to find something that can compete with Microsoft's Visio
