Outdate product that could use some big updates
Vorteile
AutoCad is straightforward and simple. It gets the job done but just not always in the most efficent manner.
Nachteile
The product freezes too much, or worse, shuts down if you ask too much of it - resulting in lost work, constantly (good look finding your backup file saved somewhere.)
Some tasks are backward, or shortcuts to make your work production easier are hidden in the depths of the menu bars, impossible to figure out.
The fact that you cannot change shortcut keys for certain tools is obscene, you need to essentially write code in order to do this.
The software is not made for the user, and it seems like they do bare minimal updates to move it along.

To use or not to use AutoCad, that is the question.
My experience is good, I always use CAD as a work tool, but today my profession / market requires incorporating the management of new software (BIM).
Vorteile
Autocad is an easy-to-use drawing software that has allowed us throughout our profession to give a more rigorous format to the presentation of our projects. However, the appearance of new BIM source software makes users wonder if it is worth continuing to use it, given the versatility of the latter.
Nachteile
When you build a volume, in autocad the parts are not assembled, they are independent parts; And when changes are made to the volume, it must be done part by part.
BIM technology allows drawing and assembling in the same step, as well as making changes or corrections, facilitating the task.

Inefficient
Vorteile
It's not very different from the normal CAD, so if you're familiar with that, this software will be easy to use.
Nachteile
Unless I were a student, I would not invest in this software. Its extremely inefficient for creating architectural drawings because its not a BIM software like Revit, for example. If you are just using occasionally it for 2D drawings, there's really no need to get anything but the basic, cheapest form of CAD.

Measurement to takeoffs
I used this originally for hard surface flooring measuring for commercial bids
Vorteile
Measurement to takeoff stage is a bit tedious, but pretty good. Wish there were more presets for obvious things.
Nachteile
No cloud saving options (at least not free version).
Can be a bit tedious compared to others on the market.

Use this everyday. Have come across it being glitchy several times
Vorteile
I love that it helps me get my job done. I use it mostly for topo drawings for pipeline along with drawing profiles
Nachteile
It often freezes and conks out and work sometimes gets lost. Would love to see improvements to this as it is very frustrating.

AutoCAD Architecture has become a supporting tool, not the go-to software anymore
I used to use AutoCAD as the primary design software to develop architectural designs.
Vorteile
Easy to quickly draw out plans using lines. The Ability to import Xref files helped coordinate plan changes across multiple sheets.
Nachteile
There is no coordination between plans and elevations, sections, etc. If something changes on plans, you had to go and update each and every elevation, section, view that was affected. Oftentimes this didn't get updated everywhere in a project sheet set, causing confusion during bidding and construction.

Gets right to the point for creating and building architectural blueprints.
Learning how to create and build any object using the measurements of realworld use.
Vorteile
If you are a keyboard expert, the program it self makes it easier to move around with any keypress, making the working become finished faster, giving more time to revise.
Nachteile
The mathematical view of the entire program can be a bit tricky. If calculations are needed to be made, a non mathmetician can get lost or create an incorrect blueprint.

Interface of this software is quite handy and Feature Commands take few steps to complete so easy to remember.
Nachteile
Advance features are available with paid plug in and Help tutorials are not appropriate for novice.
