Using Promapp has been an eye opener for how simple things can be and it is not just about the software itself but also the company culture and vision. It is clear why Promapp are in the market and what they want to achieve with their product so it breaths simplicity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

As a process professional with many years experience in BPM it can be a mindset change but you quickly realize the tool is for the people working in the processes and not just for us process nerds.

You can tell Promapp has been built for high usability and is aiming to bring processes to the people and not the other way around and to make processes fun as sharing and collaborating around processes is exceptionally easy and works in a social media style that everyone knows how to use.

Integrate with SharePoint, share links to the processes with customers and suppliers to increase collaboration and with a feedback feature you get improvement ideas right into the tool, it is so much easier and better than before.

Creating and maintain processes is very intuitive and whenever you are in doubt there is great support videos to guide in process mapping techniques and how to use the tool.

Another key feature is the governance part where the process owners and stakeholders get control over all process they own or are involved in, be notified if something changes and can in one view answer questions as; Are the processes up-to date? Are they used? What do the users feel about the process? and more.

From my perspective I see Promapp as outstanding in its segment, or actually in its own segment as I have not seen another tool with the same functionality.

Business.........finally catching up with evolution!!

ProMapp is being embedded in the DNA of our business, an intuitive tool that speaks a universal language providing everyone opportunities to contribute in describing how we do what we do and to then allow positive critical analysis and continued improvement whilst creating an audit trail and improving the culture of the business is pretty difficult to argue against.......evolution at work.

Good value for money

I have used K2 blackpearl and K2 five for 5 years on medium to great projects.
It is one of the best values for money in the BPM market.
It still has a margin for improvement in customization and deployment tasks.
Its support team is simply awesome.

K2 Online - Getting Better

Overall, the K2 deployment hasn't been too bad.

From a business PoV - K2 has highlighted the many advantages and challenges in automating their processes.

From a technical PoV there have likewise been great advantages in being able to deploy another cloud based solution without the hassle that server based solutions have traditionally caused. And inevitably there have been the usual dramas caused by cloud based solutions.

Processes your processes

It makes it easier for us to hold staff accountable when they don't follow a procedure properly, or say they didn't know how to do something in the first place. It also helps with handovers, as outgoing staff don't have to write novels on how to do their job, they can just mention 'we have a Promapp for that'.

Wonderful... and then it Breaks

My overall experience with Nintex workflows has been a positive one. Even though I am experiencing the "failed to run" errors currently, all of my other workflows run and continue to operate smoothly. I continue to suggest incorporating Nintex workflows into our processes.

K2 experience 2 years on

We jumped into the K2 world with both feet, and did not make irt easy for oursleves by having our first app as a significicantly complex app. This has contributed to some of our issues - but K2 does have architectural issues that we hope will be addressed in 2020 releases.

Master of Process

We are more effective, efficient, and accurate when we use Foxtrot.

We get more done with Foxtrot. Whenever I have a chance, I recommend Foxtrot to others.

Have had 'Promapp' (procedures) for many years, recently implemented 'Improvements'.

Promapp review

Promapp is an easy tool to use. The most difficult part of using promapp is working on and mapping out my own processes on a whiteboard / paper before I enter it into promapp. I have discovered that there are parts of my processes that can be used across the company and setting them up in such a way takes a bit of thinking, but works brilliantly.

Great Business Process Tool

I find promapp a really useful tool for publishing and managing business process. With the right governance and buy in from the whole business, this product can be the go to place for business process and source of truth. The only issue I have with the tool is you have to link a process from one side of a decision unlike Visio where decisions can have there own stream that then links back into the original process.

My experience so far

Generally a very good application. A key area for improvement is the document aspect. There is an opportunity to make a number of changes to the document aspect that would/could make Promapp a one stop shop for both processes and documents.

Promapp helping EQC

While early in its 'reboot' of Promapp, and BPM in general, EQC is relying heavily on the functionality and support Promapp provides to enable the organization to progress from the emergency response state to a more robust, standardized and appropriate 'business as usual' business.

I love Promapp!

We are just rolling it out around the organisation and its such a easy sell as its easy to create processes, review processes and find what you want. As with any system its got a few items that could do with improving, but overall its awesome!

My first involvement with Nintex

We purchased Nintex to make workflows easy but when we were looking to automate document control with SharePoint and Nintex the task seemed a little daunting. Our aim was to remove the need for a manual process and empower our managers to look after their own documents. We want to keep tight control to meet the requirements of our business, ISO9001 and other standards. The helpfulness of the Nintex team made this easy.

I am currently using Nintex to automate our annual performance review process.
