I like the ease of use. The navigation is very simple.

I don't like that you need to have separate albums within folders. It means there is an extra step to get to the files you need to see.

The number of assets that can be "related" are limited to 100 at a time. We have some files that contain more than 100 assets so is difficult to relate them all together.

Flight by Canto is a great value relative to other competing products. It gets you most of the way there while competitors want to charge over 3x to do the same thing.

The interface takes some getting used to. UX can be a lot better. It's not completely intuitive, but Canto is always releasing updates and new features, which makes it better all the time.

Canto makes it much easier to cleverly sift through our thousands of images for our sales team or customers to find exactly what they need to inspire them

There isn't as much flexibility as we'd hope for deciding how filters work, being able to hide filter options that would lead to 0 results or determine whether all or any fiters should be matched would make the user experience much nicer

It is easy to customize and administrate.
The InDesign Plugin is easy to use and always up to date.
The posibility to build your own workflows is a great and makes the collaboration with different divisions faster.

So overviews and some menu bars are not cleary arrenged. A few functions are hard to find in the daily use.

The ability to gather images together, save them and create individual links for my contacts to download. It's also great for those times I need to share large files since I'm no longer limited by email.

It isn't easy to navigate and figure out how to do some things like creating a collection. I tried the help section, which didn't tell me how to do it. I had to ask for help from a coworker, and even she had trouble remembering/figuring out how to create one.

The interface is incredibly well designed. Everything works as you think it would. Having customizable portals for specific clients is a big plus.

Sometimes to loading times can be a little long when uploading. Has been known to freeze once or twice, however only when loading multiple TIFFs.

The interface could be slightly different. Rather than have an appearance of Windows Explorer or Finder, I think the user interface could be a bit more friendly and appealing.

Canto is a great tool to keep creative files organized. Prior to Canto we didn't have a quality tool to organize and tag all of our creative and it was very difficult to find what you were looking for. Now it is incredibly easy to find what you need.

It was very time consuming to transfer all of our files over, but that would have happened regardless of new platform.

Canto allows all of our brokers to have 1-click access to all of our digital assets. The ease of use, the platform, the branding customization are all well worth it.

Platform is a bit slow, not quick to respond.

We are delighted that we have our own portal we can share with journalists.The portal looks amazing and we can share easily our content.

Unfortunately we have an old version of our CMS, so we couldn't connect this with Canto. Hopefully when we update our CMS in the future, the intergration will work.

The software requires a lot of administration work in defining and setting up users and groups at the start of the process, to define workflows and access, and has many features and benefits that our team does not currently require.

Fantastic ability to find photos quickly by tagging what you put into the system. Very helpful for sales in hospitality when you need to find a photo quickly to share with a client. Keeps the photos at our finger tips for dates, photographers, event type, etc.
