Quickbooks Online Advanced is robust and offers a pretty impressive suite of options for a growing small business. I love that a business owner can run so much of their business from one piece of software. As a business owner and a bookkeeper, I get frustrated with all of the options out there and appreciate that QBO Advanced eliminates the need for multiple programs.

Nachteile

There are definitely some improvements that could be made. The software is often glitchy, causing frustration for users that are not experienced. I would also love to see even more customization in the reporting screens. I'd love to be able to click and see drop downs on the main profit and loss screens.

many features, unlimited chart of accounts, multiple users, batch invoicing for labour --gives a cleaner look on the invoices.

Nachteile

Not sure if this is related to QBO Advanced specifically but the backup stopped working two weeks ago. With the amount of daily work we do in our books, it's scary to think we could lose everything. I enjoy the features offered :) no complaints

It is very easy to work with and the online help provides detailed instructions on how to perform any task. I really like the recurring transactions that auto post every month and the ability to setup recurring transactions to import as required for repeat transactions.

Nachteile

I wish while entering payables that the previous inputted name would default for the next entry.

Most of the modules are based on accounting practices and theory.

Nachteile

It would be best if they could mimic the desktop version as much as possible. Ensure that modules work properly before releasing them. Use professional bookkeepers to test their products.

We were use to the desktop version for so many years and scared to switch thinking it would be a nightmare! Boy were we wrong!! What a smooth transition to the cloud. I love its ease of use!

My least favorite part is that I have to pay extra for payroll features but it is a necessity in most business.

ability to handle complex business needs, The advanced reporting features, including custom report building and the ability to export data to Excel, are highly valued for deeper financial analysis.

while you can create custom reports and use filters, the level of customization is not as granular as in the Desktop version.

Ease of use! I am not an accountant nor am I professionally trained in business operations. When I was elevated from Staff Attorney to Executive Director I inherited administrative responsibilities that I was completely unfamiliar with. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how intuitive and efficient the software is. I am confident the transition into my position would have been far more difficult, but not for our subscription to QuickBooks Online.

After connecting our client management database and bank accounts to Quickbooks Online, I began to see duplicate transaction entries. In troubleshooting the issue, I discovered that deleting the journal entry created by our client database was the only way to resolve the issue. This makes me uncomfortable. I wish there were a way to "archive" the journal transaction. This would allow the system to properly reflect the journal created by the client database, as well as my direct entry in the accounting software without affecting the overall balance.

There are so many tutorial videos on the QuickBooks YouTube channel which makes training yourself in Office / Business Management is not very difficult! During my first few months as Office Manager at our small business, we used QB Desktop; I prefer the updated look that the Online version has compared to the Desktop App version.

When switching from Desktop App to Online Advanced, there were some features we lost. I used Sales Orders as the initial auto / marine mechanic work order form so as to let my technicians know what vehicle/boat needed what work. I am not very upset about losing this feature because we ended up subscribing to ARI software to create our work orders (as well as keep saved vehicle / marine information saved with specific customers). I also would prefer that QB Online had customization abilities.

QBO is very user friendly and easy to get acquainted with quick. There are enough features to allow you to do a multitude of tasks. Online bill pay is an essential feature for us and allows us to send ACH payments for free in a timely manner. The system is able to operate quickly and not slow down with multiple programs open at once.

Can be difficult to find discrepancies/accounting errors. Could have more protections against altering previous period numbers.

If you are an online store or do online billing this product is great. I use it in my brick and mortar so it's not the best option due to the payment processing because it doesn't provide a credit card receipt to be signed. Other than that I love it. It keeps track of everything so it makes tracking so easy.

It doesn't work well if you are a brick and mortar. I wish there was a compatible credit card machine that would print a receipt for the client to sign.
There are a few quirky things in the set up for the invoices and receipts. It will not print the phone number in it's proper place. I've improvised but it's just annoying.

It was comprehensive and had a lot of what is needed for running a business. My account was always accessible and did exactly what they said it would do.

While it is great from business, not so great for a Church. The lack of Fund Accounting and a not easy way to enter giving made it troublesome.
