Cloud based, Sales / revenue / time / expense tracking tool - good for a small company
A little cumbersome for the occasional user. Probably better for those who are in it all day/every day.
Vorteile
We are using this for a company size of about 75 people for sales tracking where each consultant can track their hours and expenses to the projects and tasks that are created. Works to keep everything neatly in place.
Nachteile
When someone is done / removed from the system --- they are removed entirely. They no longer show up as having worked on those efforts.

The best billing software we've used

Are you looking for software that simplifies billing? This is what you need. Easily track timed expenses on tickets, retainers, and projects and then print out an invoice for your clients.
Nachteile
The learning curve with this software is pretty steep. You'll need to dedicate quite a bit of time to learn how to use it effectively. With so many features and options, it's easy to get lost in the software.

This has enabled us to streamline and make our whole sales process much more consistent across the organisation. It also comes in at a good price point.
Nachteile
There is not all of the bells and whistles that you get with some CRM systems however due to the good price and functionality it is still a very good option.

Solid Service Desk tool for the money.

I like the affordability. We are a new MSP and this was a great entry level service desk tool for our company.
Nachteile
There are some moments that feel unfinished. The email system for alerts and tickets is clunky and has been my least favorite piece of this offering. I was able to make it work, but I don't love the workflow and there are a lot of extra steps that seem unneeded in general. I understand that the idea is to leave it open and able to be customized, but I for one would have much preferred a solid base build that required much less configuration. It leaves the end user feeling like I did the job of an architect instead of a more complete out of box experience. I think people want a more plug and play experience from a service desk tool. It took weeks of configurations to get it to the point of being usable in a real world way. Sandboxing wasn't an option as we needed a production ready tool now, not 3 weeks from now.

Awesome platform
Support team and onboarding experience is fantastic.
Vorteile
Centralizes client retainers and billing into simple views that are easy to manage. Ability to view retainers/projects/sales verticals at a high-level while easily able to drill into specific client views is awesome.
Nachteile
The ticketing system is not the greatest. It is VERY easy for tickets to get lost in the shuffle for users who manage a mix of ticket and task items.

Accelo is an excellent tool for project management, planning, tracking. The dashboard options allow us to plan our day accordingly, it have helped me with greater efficiency. Deadline dashboard, one of the best feature.
Nachteile
Implementing the software for your project isn't easy, therefore assistance is needed, therefore the accelo team was able to help us with that.

i like using accelo, i have already and will continue to recommend it.
Vorteile
We like it because its web based, i enjoy the mobile app (although there are differences in app and desktop views that confuse users)
i love the project management section, very detailed and familiar in its design structure.
Nachteile
as a new administrator, editing is not as user friendly as i wished, i hope for better video tutorials in the future

I found it very useful. Using Accelo i can manage my all the task like my emails, messgaes, and other client related task. I can also track the progress of task like which task are completed and which are pending and accodingly i can manage those task. It saves my time.

Overall it is a good solution for managing all the information but the one issue which I found in this software is that we cannot track tha passwords using this application.

A superb product
This is a superb product. it really makes a lot of sense if you need something in the PSA space. You really get the idea that these guys know what you would want to be able to do and then provide it. Time and again I have asked for something that is already actually there and in place.
Coupled to this you get unbelievable follow up and service. Tech support invariably duplicate what my question is. answer it quickly, are honest if they can't help and proactive when they can.
No question is ever a dumb question. Time and again these guys have answered me, helped me and taken my calls, not because the product is hard to work with - on the contrary, but because I am trying to get the most out of the product and have had a lot of questions.
I can speak from having had the experience of working with and configuring systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1, Microsoft Project Server 2007, Clarizen, Salesforce and others.
Nothing holds a candle to AffinityLive for functionality, value for money and overall support. I strongly suggest you take a look - we did and I think it was one of the best decisions we made.

I live in this 8 hours a day... here's what I have to say
I like the ability I have to manage my own tickets and while also being able to track my teams progress as well. The automation features really help cut down on time spent on writing responses and helps to deliver good service to our end users.
The ability to search past tickets seemingly from the beginning of our service with is insanely helpful when trying to remember back what I did to resolve a specific issue.
The stream is also a great tool to see what the team is up to. I dislike that it's web only. I feel that having a local app that looks to the online data would open up a world of possibilites.
I struggle with the fact that when I open a note or start sending an email I cannot reference ANYTHING on the ticket or site. The note or email consumes the screen. Being able to minimize that window or better yet have all the information on one screen so you can reference past notes on the ticket or review past responses and details in previous emails. Currently it's painful to do and it is hands down my least favorite aspect of the service.

Great experience, but a bit over our budget
Vorteile
Accelo has a lot of modules, likely more than you need, but that's good because it can grow with you. I like the new projects module and how the project overview dashboard can help a lot with project planning. It is very fast and easy to add time to tasks and milestones. I also appreciate the estimates function and how easy it is to turn an estimate into a project. I think Accelo makes it much easier to keep your projects on budget.
Nachteile
I felt a bit overwhelmed with Accelo because of all the tabs, features and buttons. I think they cleaned it up a bit recently but I still feel it is a bit more cluttered than other softwares. The price is also quite a bit more than some of their competitors.

Accello
Accelo is an excellent ticket and project system, especially for a company that manages many clients. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it it becomes second nature.
Vorteile
Accelo has a really robust ticket system which automatically emails those involved with the ticket when a change is made. It is excellent for managing projects that involve multiple people. Accelo can also send out reminder emails that a task is waiting for more information.
Nachteile
There are some buttons and functions that don't have clear explanations. When it comes to filtering tickets there are so many options it it really easy to include so few that you don't get useful results, or you can include so many there are no results at all. Some drop down menus are also very quick to snap shut if your cursor wanders a bit.

Amazing and easy
Working remotely, this software has solved all real time issues between our company, helps us stay on track with deadlines, see what else is n3eded from us by the clientele, and ease of communication between the company when we are never physically together.

The overall experience is great and the functionality to manage all the different functions/areas in one application is amazing.
The integrated environment makes it easy to use and track things which otherwise becomes difficult in island systems.
Except for reporting, I think it is a great tool to use and manage all the different areas.

Great PSA, great value
We've been using Accelo for maybe 6 months. We're not fully implemented, but are coming from WORK[etc] and its a big step up. VERY easy to get going on, and lots of room to grow in to the product. We will probably be implementing forever as they seem to always be adding new features, but that is a good thing in our eyes.
Vorteile
I love the feature set and integrations. Being able to work with JIRA on our product side directly, as well as Zapier for more creative integration, is absolutely huge.
Nachteile
The biggest downside to this, or any product like it, is that you don't know what you don't know until its too late. Learning enterprise size products like this is tough, and you have to work many hours to figure everything out and get it fine tuned, but that is with any product.

I have been very pleased with Accelo overall with the timely fashion of bug fixes, new developments and the amount of options they provide. Look forward to continuing to work with them.
Vorteile
I love how Accelo ties into my every day work load by bringing my gmail, calendar and tasks into Accelo and let me track things from one location. I can track so much more in Accelo then I ever could in our past MSP solution ticket system. Love the support and bug fixing timeline.
Nachteile
Biggest issue is we are not able to track passwords in this systems. Being an MSP solution we have thousands of assets and many per company. We would like to see a system in place for that. More asset options to track per asset and tie into tickets.

Accelo is a cloud-based Service Operations Automation. I've been using it for a few months and have come to like the software. They are really good at introducing new integrations and other features. I also find it very easy to use after using for awhile.
Nachteile
It is a bit of money, but I think the extra cost is well worth it. The project management part can be buggy. It also took a long time to configure everything.

Easy to use, highly configurable for work processes
We have been able to accurately generate billing for monthly as well as hourly work -- with the work done quantified to the customer on their statement. So it has allowed us to show the value that we add to our customers as well as bill them appropriately for the work that we do.

It is easy to configure for our internal and external processes. As our processes change, workflows are easily updatable. Simple, intuitive user experience.

There are a ton of application integrations available, however a larger app integration library would be useful.

Great Value For the Money
The overall value delivered for less than $40/mo can not be beat. It had all the functions I look for, it just wasn't a very good looking app. I also thought the tickets were a bit clunky, and didn't like the fact that it was very difficult to bill flat-rate projects.
Other than that, the benefit of having billing, retainers, projects, clients, tickets, etc under a single roof is phenomenal.

Accelo was used to manage resources and track project schedules to maximize efficiency.
Vorteile
The software offers a lot of ability to work with other software and provides a comprehensive solution to managing resources in a design office.
Nachteile
The costs for the software were higher when compared to other similar programs. While I feel Accelo offers more functionality, it is difficult to justify the added costs when compared to similar programs (Easy Projects for example)

Overall, it has been great to not piece together different, completely unrelated products.
Vorteile
The retainers portion of the product is stellar, as managing ongoing services can be a real pain when it doesn't have to be. I like that the all-in-one package is significantly cheaper compared to the one-off costs.

I would like a little more control and customization when it comes to client portals. It's a small gripe, not a dealbreaker.

Time Management is everything!
Vorteile
Daily timesheet has had the most impact on my work life. The platform itself is super easy to setup, easy to use, and seamless to navigate. I haven't even unlocked this applications full potential yet, I can't wait!
Nachteile
When backdating timesheet entries, it reverts to the current date and time, it would be great to be able to set it for a past date and not have it revert each entry.

I have realized this is an efficient, online platform for tracking hours.
Vorteile
I use Accelo daily. It is an easy platform to log into, track your hours, stay on top of your team, and learn your work patterns. I really enjoy the timer feature that allows me to go about my day while still tracking the time I am working for a specific client.

So Happy I Switched to Accelo!
I was running another CRM for the first 4 years of my business. However, as we continued to grow and expand, the CRM had many flaws that were holding our business back. We found Accelo and could not be happier we made the switch. The CRM is saving us time and money in our business and is very user-friendly. It provides a ton of features that make day to day business excellent. Accelo really understood that there are a lot more businesses that do not sell "widgets" and built a program that interacts with true business relationships. We look forward to our future with this platform.

Creating tasks and tracking time are my top two favorite things about accelo. This is great for project management for a team with lots of moving parts.

Best PSA for Small Growing Busineses
Accelo is a great solution for us. We're a digital marketing agency and before using Accelo we used multiple applications to manage projects, sales, support request etc. With Accelo's PSA solution we're able to view the critical parts of our business from a single console.
Vorteile
Accelo has everything we need to manage sales, customers relationships and billing. The timers are nice. This allows us to see just how much time is being spent on projects, task, and customer interactions.
Nachteile
There is a small learning curve and while you can use it "right out the box", it has taken us a couple of weeks to really get our processes into their system. The moble app could be better also.

I've been using Affinity Live since the early days, and they have never failed to listen to their customers, improve their product, and keep up with the times. Introducing new integrations and exciting features, alongside making the core functionality more slick, shows that they care about their customer base and they want to make a difference.
Nachteile
It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The project management was a bit too clunky for us, and we needed to have something more software/development oriented so we use JIRA, which now integrates!

Worthy Software
There are some issues with the overall functionality of Accelo. Sure the features present work in such a way that are really helpful in tracking utilization, but it misses the mark when it comes to reporting. Want to do a simple-ish report and add columns? Too bad.
All that being said the UI and client portal make for a compelling and worthy software.

Excellent tool for a Marketing Agency looking to get hold of productivity
Before we used Accelo, time spent on work was gathered via a rather ugly Outlook task list workaround, which was neither practical nor scaleable. Accelo's project and retainer scheduling functionality allows us to book-in large projects much more easily than before, and also ensures that time is tracked more accurately, allowing senior management to find true profitability of projects and marketing services. Of course there are a few elements of Accelo that could be improved, but one of the benefits of working with Accelo is that they listen to their clients. I am constantly in touch with Geoff and the team to offer ideas and help with beta testing, which makes me feel like a valued customer.

PSA software that you'll actually use.
To be honest, this product surprised me. Being let down by other "solutions" in the past I certainly did not have super high expectations. This software actually delivers. It was super easy to get started without reading a whole manual or contacting support. In under 20 minutes I could see that this is basically an all-in-one cloud based solution to run your entire business, billing, time tracking, agile project management, ongoing service contracts and retainers, even CRM. I would recommend checking it out even if you're already happy with your current CRM software or project management, it's nice to be able to manage everything under one roof if you know what I mean.
