With Unbounce, it was easy creating landing pages, who perform best on mobiles. It has a great template gallery, that you can customize as you wish.

Nachteile

The user experience can be worked on. For example, when browsing templates: you can't just open them in a new tab - you have to preview them and the o back and find the place you left off. Also, the spaces inter rows are difficult to achieve, the way you want and the fact that you always have to keep your hands on the keyboard, if you have to edit the page to be responsive.

Landing pages, pop-ins, and other web tools are so easy to design and implement. High converting landing pages are now available to everyone.

Drag and drop features can be finicky sometimes.

We started our store's giveaways from social media using a landing page with Unbounce. I really like how you can give contestants extra entries manually if they do an extra task when participating in a giveaway so it will actually count as another entry for them. It's easy to create the landing page and manage the traffic. You even have the option to automatically upload the emails you collect to MailChimp or another email marketing platform.

Nachteile

The only thing I don't like is how low the amount of entries it will take before it's no longer free. Our last giveaway was so successful that now the next time we use this landing page, we will be forced to pay for it.

I like that my designer and I were able to set up a handful of templates that I could reuse and customize very quickly. Setting them up was quick but reusing them was even more efficient.

Nachteile

Having to optimize your page for mobile too can be a waste and it sucks when you forget to take that step. I wish it were able to automatically adjust for mobile without me having to make it look perfect there too.

The customization options are enough for beginners, maybe a little bit restrictive for designers. There are many features available and for this reason, sometimes it could be difficult to find the one your looking for.

Videos are not perfectly optimized for mobile view. The price is a little bit high.

I have tired multiple times to like Unbounce. Many of the marketers I admire use it and endorse it too. But I just can't. Every time I setup an account it never worked for me. The worse part is that the pages are slow. I mean really slow. And when I complain I never get a response.

Despite claiming a high uptime rate, Unbounce had two outages within a week. Both times, they did not notify customers that the service was down and their customer service was unhelpful. Finally, after the outage they did not provide any sort of compensation for the downtimes.

The link between mobile and desktop landing page bulds could be more easily unlinked to design them more conveniently.

When you edit your landing page in the desktop view it may mess up the elements on the mobile view. It just takes some altering and some patience.

The builder runs very smoothly. No bugs, no glitches. You have a wide range of elements to work with and it is very easy to position then exactly in the way you want them to be and to create the landing page that you want.

I didn't like the fact that you can't export the landing pages after you create them. At least not to HTML. You can export them into a file which you can import only in Unbounce. I understand why they do it but still, it is very annoying.

It's really easy to A/B test these landing pages as you can make edits very quickly. It's amazing how much of an impact one little change to an image or form placement will make. You can make a number of versions really quickly and test them which is fantastic. They have good templates if you are new to landing page design and they integrate with a lot of other software which awesome.

It's a little more expensive than some other options, but you're paying for a quality product.

I really liked the ease with which I could create landing pages, make different variations to test, implement tracking/hot spots etc. Even if you have no design background, you can create pretty decent looking landing pages in a matter of minutes instead of hours and it really makes a difference.

Some customizations were difficult to do and going back and forth between the desktop version and the mobile version can be a pain. Wish there were some more tips and tricks for these details with an easy access. Slight design pointers would be great too.

The fact that you can get your basic set up done real fast and it covers the fundamentals really well. You can choose from 100's of templates and have a landing page set real quick. A/B Testing pages is another cool feature that is handy.

The fact that the team is pretty much resistant/unsupporting when it comes to trying out new stuff or even to discuss customizations. For instance, we could not implement push notifications on the landing pages because Unbounce team did not allow to place files on a specific path.

Unbounce has been great for quick, great looking landing pages that just work. It's been surprisingly easy to train new team members how to work the software, and pretty soon they were able to create landing pages quickly. The templates are nice but they're only a very basic starting point for the rest of the design. The A/B testing option works pretty well and has been great for testing out different layouts in ad campaigns.

Nachteile

Tracking results is way harder than it should be, and leaves a LOT to be desired. This is a pretty big issue since we're relying heavily on the results for our campaigns. I'm shocked there aren't better options for measuring the traffic on our landing pages.

Its is by far the best tool for landing page creating, is easy of use and it can be integrated with almost any other tool such as email marketing, analytics tools, cms and so on.

There is a strong community behind Unbounce, which means that if something goes wrong probably there is a solution out there.

Does not offer Amp native integration, for me is only advantage of Instapage over Unbounce.
I mean you can do it manually, with the code editor on Unbounce but that is an efficient way to do it.
Dont get me wrong, Unbounce is still better than Instapage

The program was easy to jump in and start using. Took a little trial and error but once we got the hang of it it became incredibly valuable and easy to use. Helped save money in the long run by being able to easily create professional landing pages without utilizing an agency.

Some customizations required coding, which wasn’t too bad to utilize but if we didn’t have someone on the team with basic coding knowledge we would have been lost. This was for a more complex page that required tabs with different content in each tab.

It is a better price for the same or more than Instapage, and it is way superior for more money than LeadPages. It is a pixel perfect designer. As someone with graphic design skills, this product is perfect for me. Most drag and drop editors on WordPress are poorly reviewed, but not Unbounce. You pay for a quality product.

Easy: even for a newbie or someone who is not that familiar with webdesign / programming it's easy to build landing pages.
Templates: they have really good templates to start with
Blog: they have a really good blog with best practice examples, tutorials etc. for helping you build the perfect landing page

Functionality: of course you don't have the flexibility of a whole CMS, but who needs that anyway for an LP?
analytics: implementation of more analyze-functions, maybe a heat map, etc. (even as an extra) could be useful to better understand what does and does not work on the LP and why.

The ability to track all the statistics for my landing pages and make quick changes has allowed me to grow my business and lock in conversions like I never could before.

I wished the desktop and mobile pages weren't quite so independent. sometimes I'll make a simple change on a page for the desktop version and it won't translate to the mobile page, so In have to make the change twice.

I guess that the price, but we've surpassed the 5,000 visitor mark for 2 out of the 4 months we've been using it so it's fair that it's a bit more expensive. First month was free though.

Of the landing page builders I've used this one has the best split testing features. It's also one of the easiest landing page builders I've used and has more features than most competitors.
