Resource Guru has been a game-changer for us
I love Resource Guru. It's the only thing that's shifted our capacity management into a new gear. By which I mean: No more trying to manage everything from a single calendar, complete visibility over workflow and appointments, and the ability to see at a glance how much time is available on any given day.
Vorteile
1. It doesn't try to do anything other than what it's best for
2. Calendar sync
3. Cost-effectiveness
4. Responsiveness of the support team (including on UX suggestions! Amazing.)
5. The little guru on the dashboard. Yeah it's cosmetic but it makes me feel good every time I log in.
6. Easy to set up and use.
Nachteile
The only things I really dislike a cosmetic and non-fatal. They are:
1. The inability to hit a "today" button to go back to today's date, and the thin scrollbars right and left
2. The fact that I have to literally click and drag events to create instances on non-consecutive days, rather than selecting dates.

Everything else is not just resource specific. Resource Guru is (ref comment about it just doing ONE thing and doing it extremely well). Plus the cost. Resource Guru is incredibly cost-effective for a micro team like ours, which runs almost entirely on subcontractors.Antwort von Resource Guru

Thanks for the great feedback :) I hope you'll be pleased to learn that we definitely do have a "Today" button which takes you straight back to today's date. It's in the top left of the schedule, next to where you navigate between different months and years.

Ultimate Workflow Organization
Generally great for a quick overall scheduling tool. Easy to use and set up. As per all comments above.
Vorteile
Ease of use, simplistic interface, clear directions, offers straight forward visibility.
Nachteile
Time consuming to set up the Individuals daily hours. Not possible to alter resources image once they’ve logged onto their schedule. Not possible to link to the project management tool in order to set a budget, assign tasks to a budget to pull down time into the schedule - which can then be a time sheet.

A much clearer view of work scheduled and availability
Resource Guru makes it so much easier to plan my time. It also helps me to respond quickly and accurately to job requests because I can easily see where there are gaps and where I can move projects too. I was using a spreadsheet before and Resource Guru has made life much, much easier.
Vorteile
I really like the fact I can clearly see what projects I have booked in and when and how much time I have free each day, week and month. It's great that I can use colour coding too to get more clarity.
Nachteile
I'd really like to be able to search projects to bring the right one up quickly. And I'd like there to be an app for Mac and/or iPhone.

Vehicle scheduling
easy to enter new job hire. Easy to change resource to different client and visa versa.
Vorteile
online, easy to use. Moving recourses around as needed to accommodate change.
Nachteile
would like to be able to find clients old bookings by just selecting there name from list, as opposed to having to search through the calendar.

Love Resource Guru!
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Resource Guru! It has such an easy to use interface and great UX!
Vorteile
I used resource guru at various different advertising agency's I worked it and I loved the tool! At one agency, I actually through research found this system and recommended it as our resourcing tool! It is so easy to use and has a really user friendly interface. It made resourcing and assigning tasks really easy!
Nachteile
I don't have any cons to be honest. I loved the tool and highly recommend it!
