An adequate calendaring tool for resource management
We use Resource Guru to manage the utilization/booking of our research facilities. This works well for us as we have a small number of facilities we manage. I cannot offer a recommendation for/against this project for large numbers of resources (>10) as it might be cumbersome at that point. For our limited resource pool, it works well.
Vorteile
The interface is simple to use and understand with respect to resource availability and conflict. It serves its purpose well.
Nachteile
New feature rollout is buggy. When I switched between the "beta" ("new") experience back to the classic, I received a nagging email from the company telling me I had recently logged in using the "classic" experience and it would eventually be discontinued, and that I should try out the "new" experience. This product is basically a shared calendar, and while it offers reporting that is a hybrid somewhere between Microsoft Outlook and Project, it's a bit too pushy with respect to new features.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on Resource Guru! I'm sorry that you felt our message regarding the new schedule was a bit pushy or potentially buggy. We needed to share this message because the old schedule will shortly be retired, and we didn't want people to be taken by surprise by that. As long as you click the cross to close the message, it won't reappear for you.
I also wanted to take the opportunity to reassure you about the new schedule. It's a vast improvement on the old one - it's been completely rebuilt from the ground up to provide lightning fast scheduling, infinite scrolling, lots of enhancements including elastic overtime, and it's just as stable for incredibly large teams as it is for very small ones.

Sherman Buildings Review
I love Resource Guru - it has made a huge difference for our company and keeping track of our resources!
Vorteile
Visually appealing, Ease of Use and affordability.
Nachteile
We did not have a way to see projects that may have been accidentally deleted. We ended up building a program that would track this. As of 2024, Resource Guru has made this programming change to their system. I'm excited to see how this will work.

It's easy to use and manage all information required. Nice UI and improved UX is one of the key things I get attracted to when using the system.

Great Scheduling Manager
Vorteile
This is the most intuitive and helpful scheduling manager that I have used. It puts everyone on the same page. It does exactly what it should.
Nachteile
Can't think of any cons honestly. Perhaps, the ability to link this to a windows calendar would be a helpful feature.

Reviewing the Guru of Resources
We can track the time and the breakdown of time we spend on overall projects across the entire team.
Vorteile
I like the colours, I like the visuals - it all makes sense. and really, it feels very satisfying to see the results of your tasks laid out against all your colleagues'.
Nachteile
I found it quite hard to log in, for some reason. I'm not sure about the cultural appropriation, either. But whatever, a huge plethora of contemporary tech businesses are conflating spirituality with productivity, so you're not alone there.

Great tool, easy to use. Would like to get more options in creating reports
I like working with it. As a user I organize and document all my trips and work in there. Much easier than doing this in excel
Vorteile
- I do not need any special software, just a standard browser
- everthing works with right click on the mouse or drop down
- the schedule view is easy to read
- nice reporting tool
Nachteile
- I would like to get the option when runnig a report also getting the information which is written in the Details section
- The schedule view is nice, but it would also be good to get a month view by weekly rows (similar to Outlook)

Love Resource Guru!
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Resource Guru! It has such an easy to use interface and great UX!
Vorteile
I used resource guru at various different advertising agency's I worked it and I loved the tool! At one agency, I actually through research found this system and recommended it as our resourcing tool! It is so easy to use and has a really user friendly interface. It made resourcing and assigning tasks really easy!
Nachteile
I don't have any cons to be honest. I loved the tool and highly recommend it!

Excellent tool for tracking resources in a strongly visual format
It is a simple and efficient way to visually display tasks and staff availability. Allocate the tasks to staff and ensure optimal utilisation of the team.
Vorteile
It is well laid out and provides an excellent visual representation of staff, availability and what they are assigned to do for the near future. Very rapid data entry and manipulation. Easily accessed across all departments and by staff who need it. Web browser format is super convenient.
Nachteile
Tasks for individuals across weeks may not be displayed in the same order vertically, can be confusing.

Vorteile
Performance is really nice, and the extensive filtering (+saving the filters) makes searching for users easy.
Nachteile
When I filter on project, I would like to only show people that actually work on that project in the time frame I see, instead of all those that have ever worked on it.
