Best one on the market despite missing a few features
Good, has been nice to have a dedicated specialist to helping me learn how to use the software to best suit my company.
Vorteile
Best software on the market for ordering and tracking furnishings.
Nachteile
Missing a few features I like about other softwares (i.e. smart tracking when you put in the tracking #, more features to integrate both the hard surface selections and furnishings in the same project)

Great product for a small design firm
So far, so good. I need to take time to focus on training and setting up additional features. There are a lot of great features.
Vorteile
The ease of use! Most design management software is very outdated, bulky, confusing. I needed something that I could use on my own (currently, I'm a team of 1!) and understand easily. I'm a designer/creative type so the backend office / billing/accounting portion of my business can be really draining. I needed a software to keep me organized and while being able to handle my book keeping.
Nachteile
It's taking me awhile to get everything setup. I need to spend the time watching the intro videos. Some of the details can be hard to change once entered, some steps on the invoicing system seem repetitive.

Houzz Pro Unethical
It started out as okay, though there are many limitations to their Houzz Pro programs for designers. The most disturbing part, is that they increased my monthly rate, with out permissions. They switched me to the highest level of plan from the most basic without consent. I am a part time designer and this cost increase is hard to absorb. Houzz refuses to do anything about it. Negative opt out marketing is illegal in many places - beware!
Vorteile
I could clip images. This can however, be done easily with other, much less expensive software.
Nachteile
They are not an ethical company. If you complain they disconnect your chats without addressing.

Houzz works well
I’m learning the process and so far it’s going ok.
Vorteile
It’s efficient and looks professional. After working in the industry with hand written invoices, it’s a pleasure to have something that is easier to understand.
Nachteile
It’s been a challenge to learn this program as a new member of my company, but I’m getting it.

Centralizing our systems
I am still new to houzz pro as I was one of the original ivy uses before it grew into a larger program. We are still learning all the new features and had no idea there really was so much here!
Vorteile
The invoicing tool is hands down the most utilized because our clients NEED pictures, truly. One might think they ordered a bronze faucet and forget they changed and approved a matte black one-this happens alot with clients as they have alot of changes in their home, or they are moving, etc. The clarity we offer this way is a huge help to clients as they are on the go and might not have all of the boards/files we gave them. They can pull up their dashboard on their phone, or their ipad.
Nachteile
We do not sync with quickbooks as we actually found it faster for us not to integrate. Appreciate having the option to choose, though.

A happy family business with new tools in the workshop
Vorteile
The 3d modeling tool. It is a great way for us to get clients to take the next step if they are struggling with just a mood board.
Nachteile
The 3d modeling tool. As a company that deals with high end furniture, it is difficult to find the correct skus to use. It would be helpful if brands like Lexington Furniture, Hooker Furniture, Bernhardt and more were available.

New user for an interior design business
I looked into and tried several softwares for interior designers but came back to using Houzz. It is easy to use right away and when I have a question I get help quickly. I would enjoy a class on using more it has to offer. But for now I just call or chat and get an answer efficiently. It is user friendly.
Vorteile
I like the invoicing, the sourcing, the design boards and the3D floor planner.
Nachteile
I only use limited options this software provides. I wish my time allowed me the opportunity to learn and discover more tools this software provides.

Long-Time Houzz Pro
Vorteile
Houzz is a wonderful tool for up-and-coming designers to establish solid systems and processes for how they work. It's a huge timesaver in the long-run, and it helps early on to navigate some of a small business's growing pains. We particularly like how it helps us track our leads and direct messages from the platform.
Nachteile
Because it is a comprehensive system, HouzzPro doesn't connect to other systems that an established firm might be using.

Poor Software with Hidden Annual Contracts
It was very negative. The software didn't meet by needs and I am out thousands of dollars that I didn't expect.
Vorteile
I tried to use the 3D room planner to design out rooms but I found its overall functionality lacking. It was easier to use than its competitors, but that was probably because it had less features.
Nachteile
When the 3D room planning software didn't meet my needs I looked to cancel my monthly subscription. I was then told that actually it was yearly and it was uncancellable. Even though it says monthly in all places, except for some really small print, if you sign up for Houzz Pro all contracts are annual.
