I'd say the best part about post affiliate pro is that it's very easy for the affiliates. Virtually all of the people that are promoting our software don't come from a tech background so it's very important for us that they can manage their way in the software without asking us too many questions. They can see their earnings, payouts and very detailed history about each transaction so we don't have to do any explaining on our part. You can also customize the emails they receive. It's great.

Nachteile

There's no cons related to my work with the software. I am only managing the affiliates' experience and wasn't the one to set it up.

The software was great! Helped my business promote to and sign up affiliates. The front page sign up and login GUI looks great and is completely customizable to your website and company brands.

The Post Affiliate Pro team was the best part. They helped completely implement their software into our WordPress website and booking software for tracking. They did all of the figuring out, testing, and setup to get the tracking working properly on commission per sales, and commission per clicks.

The software is easy to use, but if you are more advanced - the possibilities are endless. It allows beginner affiliates an easy way to track, and expert affiliates tons of freedom to review their analytics and create links themselves as their blogs grow.

Nachteile

If I didn't have the Post Affiliate Pro team to help me with my questions or setup, it would be a little tough to get started on my own. But the team was there every step of the way to help!

When I first had to integrate this software back in January 2015 I was doing a lot of things in our company by myself. The tech team at Post affiliate pro helped me set everything up correctly. I remember I spoke with senior people from the company at no cost. And I haven't had any issues ever since. Few times we had questions over the years and they always respond quickly. Very reliable company.

At the very beginning of choosing the software, they had the option to either pay monthly or set it up for a one-time payment on your servers. If I knew we would use it for so many years.. I would have chosen the latter. But it's okay. It's still worth it.

PAP has so many features that is can do anything that you need for it to do. We use it to track our in-house affiliate program as well as all of our PPC marketing. We looked at Has Offers and have used OSI. It does most of what Has Traffic can do, for a much lower cost and does far more than OSI or Idev. We have had some issues in the past and their support has always helped us figure out what was happening.

Nachteile

It takes a while to figure out and is not the easiest to use. If you don't have some technical knowledge, there are probably better options for you.

I like their user friendly, fast web based interface. Their coders had coded in such a beautiful way that its fitted with almost any kind of shopping cart or payment gateway and that is the best plus point of it. Pricing is extremely well too.

Many good features are paid :-) Post affiliate pro has almost all basic features are free but I will like them to offer more and more free tools with the basic software.

I've only ever used PAP for affiliates, but I get the impression some other affiliate programs have a network of affiliates that you can use to enhance your program, and I am not aware of PAP having that.

Many pros, starting with the reasonable price comparing to many other competitors.
In our case, we were looking for an affiliate tracking software that would help tracking the offline sales through Coupon codes, when we selected PAP, we found many other amazing features that we could utilize such as:
1) Free public program website which is highly customizable.
2) Supports multiple languages (especially Arabic in our case).
3) Inactivity monitoring.
... etc.

You may see other companies which would look better from the outside, but come on! once you start using PAP you will realize that it is a hidden GEM!

Nachteile

The only comment that I have is related to the system integration, the integration using other language than PHP is not as easy as it has to be.
However, once you approach the support, you will get the support needed!

I love the reports myself and our affiliates themselves can run to ensure everyone has data to review their performances and make sound decisions.

Nachteile

I wish Post Affiliate Pro was able to integrate with Zapier and similar features. Due to this lack of integration, I actually have had to build a system around Post Affiliate Pro and use Post Affiliate Pro just for the affiliate tracking in itself.

Post Affiliate Pro was easy to use. It has many features that we could add into the platform to help our merchants and affiliates get the most out of the platform. The interface of the platform is very intuitive. We were able to customize it to fit our needs. What we really like is that PAP provides 24/7 Chat Support.

Nachteile

There is still room to grow in the report automation areas. And we wish that we could integrate PAP with Hubspot.

I love this software for the versatility it has it carry multiple affiliate accounts at one time and actually keep the separate and organized. It allows you to shorten you links to your campaigns and keeps up with traffic and clicks to you site

My favorite feature of this software is the site replication feature. We were able to use it to setup an affiliate marketing platform that allows us to offer personalized websites to all of our affiliates if they simply sign up for our program, that we keep updated with our latest deals. Customer support is amazing, anytime you need help, most of the time you can get it instantly via chat. They even custom added the ability to exclude products by product ID to help the software work with our wholesale program.

Nachteile

Ironically what I think was one of the greatest challenges was setting up certain settings and aspects of the software such as the site replication on our own custom domain. This required quite a bit of technical expertise, particularly with JavaScript. So for the advanced features of the software I have to warn that having a web developer may be necessary.

The variety of functions of PAP is great, there are many options to customize it for your business. The customer support is readily available via chat, which helps a lot to get issue fixed quickly. The knowledge base help section has all functions explained in detail and is very helpful.

There are some bugs with website replication, which requires tech support to assist. Some of the issues we had are due to the website hosting provider.

I like Live-Agent because it is like 24 hours service even as the time differs but each time i have problem to solve the people are there to provide service to solve the problem.The system is very good but needs one to understanding system. their live Chat is supper.

The features that need to fix very well is about the User Language, The Post Affiliate Pro should have a plan that will help to train their customers who don't have knowledge of post Affiliate pro program. If also post affiliate pro could help his customers in promotional activties that could be alright.

The most important thing i guess is that post affiliate permit to users to do multiple and amazing things with its features. I like to the quality of modules for the tracking purposes.

It takes so much time to refresh an interface and i think that is very important to publish a public API and work on push notifications over customized mobile apps.

Live chat support. Hire more people and provide a quicker service. 31 minutes to answer a simple question with 8-minute silence gaps between questions and answers, is not good. When actually answered, it was good, but just took forever. Also when I asked if there was anyone there?, they told me "be patient". After waiting another 8 minutes I chased again and was sent "I am writing" .. I responded "what are you writing a book, dude?" .. the response was, "please refrain from calling me dude". I explained that "dude" was not offensive. There was clealry some language issues which was notable in the typed messages as well. As I say, they did answer well in the end and were helpful, just took FOREVER and did not engage in the way I'd have expected. Possibly some engagement training and definitely more seats and will be a lot better.

The features are diverse and powerful. We run a very complicated affiliate program, and PostAffiliatePro manages it easily. If you've been frustrated by poor support from you software platforms, then PAP will be a breath of fresh air. I don't think English is the first language for *some* of the support staff, but It's never caused a major problem, and oh my gosh do they know their product. Their tier 1 support has the knowledge I'd expect from tier 2 or even 3 in some cases. Top notch.

Nachteile

There *are* some limitations, and a few things could be better. For example, there's a limit to the number of custom fields you can add to affiliate profiles, the API documentation could be better organized, and some of the reports can be tough to find and understand. I do often have to explain them to our affiliates and affiliate management team. They make sense to me, but obviously aren't perfectly user-friendly since I have explain them so much.

Tracking is much more accurate than other platforms. The pricing is good; it blows my mind that competitors try to charge hundreds or thousands of dollars for similar services. Installation on our multi-subdomain site was quick and easy. Plenty of customization options if you're willing to spend the time.

Nachteile

UX is clunky and outdated, but it works. Customization of most things is possible but time-consuming. The plugin architecture doesn't make sense to me - as opposed to most sites where you just enable a feature you need to actually "install" them first with this. Tracking high volume events like clicks or free signups crowds their filter views and the data isn't displayed well (but you can export it easily).

I feel confident in the success of using this software. The advanced tracking methods and the the single best feature is the Direct Links option. In just few days of exploring and customization, I was able to find it easy to use. I therefore highly recommend Post Affiliate Pro to everyone to get things done very easily.

A little more tutorials on this would help many newbies to grab how it works very fast without wasting so much time going around it.

1. Basic importing is a real hassle with this software. Import functionality needs a complete overhaul. Basic coupon importing that consists of a two column spreadsheet cannot be imported without custom PHP coding and use of the API. Why this functionality is omitted from import is beyond me.
2. Documentation is outdated and could be expanded. I found numerous inconsistencies or missing information which required several support tickets to clear up.
3. Support is hit and miss. Sometimes they can go above an beyond, other times they simply say "sorry the software can't do that". Providing constructive criticism about the software and what needs to be improved seem to fall on deaf ears.
4. They allow you to add something like 20 custom fields, but getting the data in/out via the API or through extensions can be difficult because they only allow up to 5 fields. Why offer the ability to have 20 custom fields but only give users the ability to access 5 of them is beyond me. I should be able to access all the data at any point.

Like any other product of this heft, the learning curve could be a bit intimidating. It took a while for me to fully grasp the full functionality. This initial challenge was made much easier with the stellar customer support that always seems to be there when needed.

I've been using Post Affiliate Pro for more than 5 years. As a non-technical person I find it easy to use and haven't had any problems at all. Anytime I have questions I message their professional support team and they help really fast. Also we used the software for more than 100 affiliates and never had any issues. All sales were tracked just the way it's supposed to be. So basically we set it up once when we first purchased the software and everything stays like that. Easy to use and a great tool for our company.

I really can't think of any cons right now. Everything I pay for I get it with this software.

They do have a good online chat service. This is necessary because the software is so horrible you will need help each time you open it.

This is the worst. Horribly frustrating to use. Horrible user interface. I have to relearn it each time. So many compartmentalized parts of the website. Adding an affiliate and their corresponding code is a nightmare.
Once a default code was applied to a new affiliate. I didn't do this. The affiliate demanded $4,000 even though they did no sales.
Then I wrote them telling them I would be switching soon. I did NOT ask them to close the account. They unilaterally closed the account. Very frustrating.
Would never recommend except to my worse competitor.
Just so so so bad.
Also doesn't have basic automatic monthly payments to affiliates. All needs to be done manually.

I would like to be able to set goals. For example, if the leader of a large team of affiliates doesn’t reach a sales goal, they won’t get commissions from their teams sales. They have to reach the goal first.

Cloud based (Post Affiliate Pro hosted) version doesn't allow auto-creation of unique tracking id's upon click, which makes for more difficult set up and a less friendly user experience for affiliates.

This is not a "any person can figure it out"- I think there should be trained live reps who are experts in the product to be able to help. Today I had a chat with someone who said "it should work" When you are handling affiliates especially their commission, there should be someone to say, yes it WILL work and if it doesn't, I will figure out why.

We had to move froma different affiliate software - as it was proving extremely unreliable and not tracking certain clicks. As a result - I jumped on many calls with different affiliate software that promised the world. Post Affiliate Pro was the only software that made sense - was relatively easy to use - while at the same time having a great selection of tools and services that we need. The CUSTOMER SUPPORT was also AMAZING (must mention [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in particular for all his help)

Nachteile

The dashboard from the merchant's point of view looks a little old fashioned - but that's just an aesthetic thing.

Post Affiliate Pro is very dependable in managing affiliate link, profile and the analytics report. Easy interface design and tools placement make it a suitable software for a beginner user finding their footing in affiliate markets.

Nachteile

Some of the features like affiliate marketing glossary needs a better documentation and guides. The support team manage to solved the issues, but would be better if user can understand and configure the settings our-self without any help.

I'd LOVE to see the ability to categories affiliates which could be customized, so i was able to group affiliates by country or the product vertical they were promoting for us.
