Some useful aspects but better options

Useful but I think there are better options out there for project management

Vorteile

Good for collaboration and group work - also a good note taking tool

Nachteile

I found the user interface difficult to navigate and logins weren’t the easiest. Some members of my team seemed to be locked out of various projects

Great copycat product

It's great but with so much of our team relying on G Drive for document management, it's really unnecesary for us to move 100% to dropbox paper. I think Dropbox could really have a homerun for video content creators if they expanded the review / notes features and added screener link capability.

Vorteile

It's very functional and it's built into dropbox which we use daily. We are always looking for ways to cut down on service bulk. This would eliminate one or two other services.

Nachteile

No one really uses this product heavily in our market. I can see how it works as an in-house internal product but the world as a whole isn't really ready to leave Google Drive which is also tied into our email system.

Not great, barely usable

When Dropbox a pioneer in cloud saving personal files brings up a cloud based office application you have high expectations. But in this case it falls flat. This is the poor man's version of Google Docs or Microsoft 365 except that both have a free version. There is no big upside except from the fact that it is well integrated into Dropbox. The formatting sucks, the interface is bare bones and 20 years old (!) and all of this is put together in a light and flaky web interface. Pretty poor job !!

Vorteile

Well integrated with Dropbox
Extensive support for rich media
Minimal user interface
Freeware & cloud based
Cross platform compatible

Nachteile

No fixed formatting bar
Needs a lot of learning
Features and options are minimal = 2 decades old

I mean, it Worked...

Not good. It’s been a while since I used it and I’m hopeful it has had some successful updates since then.

Vorteile

I didn’t think this was easy to use, and it was frustrating to set up. I guess what I liked most, besides being done with it, was being able to remotely submit documents when needed.

Nachteile

I didn’t think it was intuitive or helpful in organizing my documents. It was frustrating to set up and log onto before I even wrestled to upload.
