Tried many, stayed with RDM
Finally I have one application which helps me to do my daily job. One which runs on all of my devices and I do not need to care about sharing the settings, etc.
It just to its job and it's extremely easy in use.
Vorteile
- native support for plenty connection types
- not supported connections can still be made with use of external software directly from RDM
- nice and friendly interface
- cloud storage for the connection settings

Nachteile
- editing multiple items at once is not working for me as expected
- free edition is very limited

Most reliable
Overall, this product makes its possible to fully assist clients from a remote location.
Vorteile
This is the easiest program to use when it comes to remotely controlling clients computers. Most imporatnt it is easy for the client to follow the directions on their end.
Nachteile
Sensitive to certain internet connections. Seems to need full bars on both ends to achieve a successful connection.

Great for multiple Customers
Vorteile
It allows you to group the different boxes you access under a tree hierarchy. We put DV, PY and PD boxes under customer's name each time we've got VPN access to their servers, that way we always can easily identify them and access their servers. You can also export configurations very easily. Store credentials, preferences and certificates. Awesome.
Nachteile
This isn't a con particularly, but it's not a very innovative software. It's very simple and does it's job. Period.

Forget other remote tools
It has cloud backup function that you can archive your connections and it is automated. I can connect anything that I need to be now.
Vorteile
It has many capability about connection. It is all-in-one for connection to somewhere, does not matter it is hardware or software.
Nachteile
Installation size is big, not too much user friendly UI, it is getting slower if you have more than 1000 connections

I don't like remote desktop. The constant crashing makes it not easy to use and slows down my productivity
Vorteile
We use this to launch SLX. Idk if it is SLX or remote desktop but I don't have many good things to say about Remote Desktop
Nachteile
Remote Desktop crashes every 30 mins minimum. I have to restart the program multiple times during my day and it messes w my computer too.

We have a dermatology practice with multiple locations. We use the Remote Destop Manager to sign in to the server from remote locations. It is helpful also for saving money on license for some software programs. You do not need a seperate license to run a remote location using the Remote Desktop Manager.

The software is easy to use and works well for us.

There is not anything I do not like about the software.

This program saves us a lot of time and enables us to provide fast and quality support to our clients. Not having to locate the hostname of the servers and type our AD credentials every time is a huge time saver!
Vorteile
Remote Desktop Manager has all the features to make the life of a System Administrator like me much easier! Having all my RDP connections stored in one great place is fantastic. Price is very cheap for all the bells and whistles it has. Supports a wide variety of systems.
Nachteile
I can't say anything negative about this tool. It is the best in its category.

Manage your own sessions, a given. Manage EVERYONE's sessions, bingo.
Not only are my sessions managed and safe, so are my users sessions. I can keep track of what they're doing, my inventory, and myriad other things as well. There's so much power in this software... you end up creating uses for it.
Vorteile
Session management, credential management, app management via powershell, sql or online back end, tracking users, tracking equipment... the list just goes on and on.
Nachteile
Importing can sometimes be a little hard, but way easier than any other product. Using an IP Scanner that exports to csv can speed up the process greatly.

My entire company use the desktop manager. My experience been great because it offers mobile remote usage for my Android phone.

Wow! I can't miss this anymore
No more remembering hostnames is what does it for me! Honestly I'd be in trouble if I didn't have this!
Vorteile
I'll start by saying, wow what a time saver this is. Any RD connection in just a click away, nothing to not be stoked about! I use this primarily to connect to our different servers and not having to remember everything each time really helps out.
Nachteile
There's so many options it makes me confused but I'm keeping it simple!
The loading time on startup could use some work though.

RDM is a great tool!
We have used RDM for many years and they just keep crank'n out the features and tools to make the user experience great! We use the Admin tools to provide multiple teams access to different groups of hundreds of servers and pcs! It can handled complex connections!

Life Made Easy!

I honestly don't know how I managed all those years within this software. Lots of extra trips to the office after hours, nights, weekends and holiday to resolve issues. Now it is as simple as logging in and taking care of the issue

Remote desktop Swiss Army knife
It is a feature complete product and very well thought out. It has the ability to connect to so much stuff. The Development team is very active and they participate in their forums which is great.
Vorteile
This application has it all. It connects to anything you could want to remotely administer. from SSH to RDP to VNC to Vmware view it has it all. You can share connections between a team as well via a SQL database or other means. It works well for every occassion. Support is great and they strive to satisfy all of their customers. This is a really great application and it runs on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.

No Linux version but they say that they are considering it.

Vorteile
This product allows you to either give or receive help from people. I absolutely enjoy the simplistic design and interface. Whether you use it for personal or professional this product can safe a lot of stress. Technicians are able to do more faster without trying to walk you through all the steps. If you need a file from your office and are at home, again you're able to accomplish things so much faster and easier than before.

Access to remote work is made possible in a time of need.
Vorteile
Though each user may have different security requirements, this is a great way to reach documents that I cannot or am unwilling to keep on a personal desktop. Yet, I do need to work from occasionally especially as many were pushed into remote work in 2020. I could not do my job without this mostly easy to use tool.
Nachteile
Overall a great experience but sometimes the settings on my computer, such as a short sleep timer, interrupt the connection requiring a new login.

Remote Desktop Manager is really helpful when it comes to remotely execute a task on other computer or on your own. It really helps an individual to get things done with only giving access with unique password and username. The most amazing thing about this software is the ability to screen control, monitoring, dashboarding and reporting.

Use in specific cases
The short time of use was enough to know that it is a simple software but that it can handle and solve any remote access problem.
Vorteile
It was salvation from a specific problem. On a network I could not install any other remote access software, and with Remote Desktop it was possible to install and resolve the situation.
Nachteile
I had no problem with Remote Desktop. It met my expectations very well, however, it was not the standard used in the company and had to be discontinued.

Keeps all of my remote connections in one place
I use this daily to connect to the systems I work on and manage. It saves all of the connection information (machine name, IP, username, password, etc.) so I just double click and it logs me in. So easy!
Vorteile
I LOVE that I can create groups in this software to keep my remote sessions organized by task or work function. I also love that I can inherit logins so I don't have to enter my credentials on each machine.
Nachteile
The multiple screen support is a little klunky and isn't ideal to use when you only have one screen on the viewing end.

Free remote management tool to manage all of your workstations via RDP
Vorteile
Easy to create a library of all of your computers. You can save admin credentials so it's easy to just double click on the computer and log in without having to type in your credentials each time.
Nachteile
Logs in to each computer via RDP so only one user can see the session at a time. This is best used on-site as this can be a security issue using this software to log in from outside of your agency.

It stalls and is glitchy, but it's neat when it actually works.
It works most of the time, and it makes working from home a lot easier because I am able to access my servers and locally stored documents!
Vorteile
Working remotely is much easier when I have this tool in place! There is no limit to how much you can do when using this tool, and I do not experience much if any distortion like you sometimes will with remote-in programs like this.
Nachteile
It will often freeze up or stall. I have had issues with it disconnecting from the VPN randomly, as well. It may have something to do with the Internet connection.

There are only so many softwares like this one, so it's pretty good when comparing it to the competition.

Overall, it's quite easy to use. I find it easy to catch onto without much training and the functionalities are nice overall.

It can be slow and sometimes my copy and paste commands do not work, which can be pretty annoying because I use them frequently.

The search is over
I spent some time looking at different solutions for a Remote Desktop Manager, and as it turns out, the best one has the easiest to remember name. RDM has made it faster and easier than ever to manage my work newtork. Great tool for any IT Admin to have in their back pocket, and on their desktop.
Vorteile
I love the wide array of features that RDM has. It stores my remote desktop profiles, allows me to see all the sessions on our terminal servers, it even stores connection information for things like Spiceworks and vSphere. This has become an invaluable tool for me, and I use it every day.
Nachteile
I've had some trouble using the Wayk connector. I'm able to install it and get connect to the client, but after that it doesn't respond. Luckily, it was a personal machine I was testing on, and I can still RDP into it, but I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't get it to work. Maybe some tuning is required.

Big and full featured. Great solution for bigger companies with current tech.
A good solution for large IT. Allowed consolidation of many difference products/components into one solution. Get all the basics running and fine tune as you go.
Vorteile
It is fairly intuitive to setup but is geared for the IT Support inclined. Our primary support staff had less issues then the jurior operators/techs or general users.
A big company with several products doing different parts of the whole Remote connection system could easily consolidate. You do pay for what you get but you get what you pay for.
Once it is setup and running its a great centralized solution for your Remote Connectivity to the enterprise.
Nachteile
So many features and details can actually be a detraction and overwhelming.
Cost is probably not for the small company IT.

Ideal for personal use.
Vorteile
I use RDM's free version and it has greatly improved my experience using the internet, the password management has saved me a lot of time. I am currently testing it to verify if it is an option for the company and the truth is that the fact that it works well with Linux is a pro.
Nachteile
So far I have not found many aspects that displease me, the only thing is that in the short time of use has been updated many times and that can be annoying.
