Non-existant support and impossible to cancel

Poor experience.

Vorteile

Software had commonly used LMS features and was SCORM compliant.

Nachteile

One day suddently the billing area disappeared from our account with a link to go to an alternative area that didn't work. They continued to bill us and we couldn't get any invoices or change payment details.

Many months later I contacted someone by email who setup an alternative billing portal.

When we wanted to cancel, we asked the rep and he said to send an email to them requesting cancellation. Nothing happened and 6 months later we still keep getting invoiced. The rep was helpless as well and agreed with our position. He recommended to remove payment methods to stop getting billed and initiate a chargeback. Their own rep telling us to do this. No email to their accounts department gets replied to ever. AVOID.

Purchased Litmos 6 months ago and still not working

Vorteile

It's easy to upload videos and the ability to customize the color creates a consistent branding experience between the website and Litmos.

Nachteile

I provided the exact requirements needed for the LMS system (as they were written out and approved by the department of education). One of the requirements is a LMS that requires some courses be taken prior to other courses as well as have groups of courses that can be taken in any order. When building the programs in Litmos, the prerequisite function didn't work and the Assign doesn't have enough functionality and our company had too many classes (there is a maximum number allowed). Six months later, 15+ technical and sales rep calls and the problems still exist. I am manually assigning classes to all students, 4x per day. Instead of doing my job, I am essentially a manually LMS system until I can get a working solution or pay for another LMS system. I've requested 3x to speak to someone else but my only contacts are the technical help desk and my sales rep.

A nice product and company until it was taken over by pirates

Very disappointing.

Vorteile

I liked using the product but SAP's deceptive billing practices overshadow any benefit.

Nachteile

Any product is only as good as the company that stands behind it. When we first launched Litmos in 2016 it was under the stewardship of CallidusCloud. A year ago we decided we could meet our training needs through other methods. When SAP presented our invoice on 10/23/2019 I wrote them declining to renew.

In April of 2020 I received another invoice to which I responded that we had cancelled our service and forwarded the original communication. More invoices and many communications followed.

Finally, my SAP rep informed me that she wrote me an introduction email in August 2019 which contained a footnote that henceforth cancellations would require 90 days notice and since I cancelled on 10/23, I had only provided 30 days.

For a company to change its cancellation policy without making sure subscribers receive that information through a call or a follow up email is more than unprofessional. It's deceptive.

The battle over the invoice continues.

Worst Customer Experience in My Life

Vorteile

There is not much good that I can say. My feelings about the product are so colored by terrible customer service. I would definitely steer clear of this company.

Nachteile

My customer experience was the WORST I have ever experienced! I still do not have a satisfactory response. I asked over a dozen people over several days for a link to the course descriptions for the courses we have purchased and a link to the course catalog. Most of the CSRs I talked with spoke English with accents that were almost impossible to understand. A typical response (which I received today) from the support staff: "Hi, "I am sorry. As this is a Litmos inquiry & not Litmos Heroes we can't help. I am passing this onto our colleagues at Litmos to get picked up ASAP. Thanks, This came four days after my original request, BTW. If my company's customer service team operated like yours, we'd be out of business! I'm sure that's where you're headed! The difference between Litmos and Bridgefront are night and day!

Bait & Switch - DON'T BOTHER WITH THE TRIAL!

IF YOU START THE TRIAL, THEN CLICK BUY NOW, THEIR SYSTEM WON'T ALLOW YOU UNLESS YOU CALL THEM DIRECTLY AND GO THROUGH AN ENTIRE PROCESS, ETC. IT'S A JOKE.

Vorteile

Exceptional logic on the software, easy to use, and well thought out. Has many features that other systems don't.

Nachteile

WHAT THEY WON'T TELL YOU IS THAT THE PRICING IS FIXED ANNUALLY, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY USERS YOU HAVE. YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS LESS THAN 150 EMPLOYEES. IF YOU CHECK THEIR SITE, THEY ADVERTISE THE SOFTWARE AT THE RATE PER USER. IT'S FALSE ADVERTISING.

Dubious business practice

Shame that Litmos has continued to bill me for 9 months this year despite written cancellation of my sub. After numerous emails and promises to refund coming to nothing, I am on the verge of canceling my Amex card of 25 years to avoid billing. An expensive product that is happy to take your money but slow to front up when instructions have been given to cancel to a cheaper and more visually appealing product. There is no capacity in the accounts section to cancel a subscription. I did it in writing to the support team and it has been ignored. Do not sign up, you might be in an endless subscription with extreme difficulty getting your funds back.

Horrible nightmare

My company started using this software and I want to scream ! First couldn't get logged on then the training freezes in the same spot and won't let you progress , company response was to just try it in google chrome , well I did and the same problem , it keeps getting stuck in a loop and will not progress to next section without tech support manually selecting complete , I freaking HATE this thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interface , ease of use , it doesn't work , browser support , tech support , pretty much everything , I have never hated something as much as this software .
